This place is absolutely great I love the staff & it's so close to my house preventing me to go all the way to the hospital waiting hours until someone finally notices you there unlike the hospital these people get to you immediately right after filling out some paper work. This place is a GEM of Tujunga! I have been here 3 times so far. Once for my son, myself and once for my husband. Every time was a all around great experience. There was minimal to no wait time which is a huge plus. I would always hate going to urgent cares as they all usually had the longest wait times. Not here! The place is clean with super friendly staff. The doctors are kind, knowledgeable, and kid friendly! They even have a cute room painted just for kids! I grew tired of making banking hour appointments with my regular MD and walked in to the clinic on Saturday at 8:00 AM. Two things occured that I had not been alerted about by my regular MDs. The first was my blood sugar was dangerously high. The second a condition that I have had for several years, "congestion", could be treated with antibiotics. I altered my diet to conform to the former, and found immediated gratification from the treament to the latter. Convenience is nice, I don't have to take a day off to visit the MD, however knowledge is more important. I was on the way to a Specialist for the "congestion", and probable surgery, for a condition that could be treated with antibiotics. And I can breath again. read more

We went to this urgent care center for first time. We took our 2 months old baby there due to his runny nose and cough. Even though in this place they won't take straight medi-cal, they accept to check up my baby. Staff working there are so kind, nice, and well trained. Me and my family have visited this center multiple times..friendly people...the wait time is minimal..they always take good care of me and my kids. Making a left turn on foothill can be tough that's the only problem..they x rayed my son and we found out he had a fracture right away. They even made a copy of th X-ray and gave it to us.. read more

It's finally nice to have an urgent care office in the foothill area. I walked in and was greeted by a super friendly staff who was quick to take my information to get me the help I needed. I was seen by the PA who was very well informed and super helpful to get me back on my feet. They called in my prescription and i was on my way fast, walking out of there in honestly no time at all was the best part. No waiting hours at the ER or having to schedule an appointment with a doctor. I highly recommend this place if you don't want to wait hours and hours to see a doctor for something simple like a sinus infection or cold or flu. You people aren't stupid you know what I'm taking about. I will be coming back only if I'm feeling under the weather of course. read more

Yesterday I went to First Aid Urgent Care for the very first time. I didn't know what to expect. When I got there, I gave them my information and my reason for being there. I was thinking that waiting time would be at least a couple of hours. But, within 30 minutes i spoke to the doctor, got my prescription and said bye to the friendly staff. I would definitely go back to First Aid Urgent Care. I came in as a stranger who needed medical attention. Because of how well the doctor and the staff treated me, I left First Aid Urgent Care feeling like, you know, family. They were very friendly easy to talk to. I felt that they truly cared. Newly open, this place still clean and take all type of insurance except Medi Cal. Very friendly and welcoming staffs.

I too had a very negative experience. I was the first one there when it opened, and like others, I too had to wait for the doctor to show up. They opened at 8 and he showed up at 8:45. The place had a funny smell. Bathroom floor was wet... not sure if it was water or piss. The waiting room floor was dirty. The decor looked old. Paint on the walls and mouldings were chipped. The place looked like it was 25 years old. The doctor finally showed up. Didn't introduce himself. Seemed like he didn't care. As I found out later, it was Dr. Samalin...? (Not sure of the spelling). I couldn't wait to leave. Never have I met a doctor that seemed so uninterested. After a few mins, he recommended I do some blood tests. I told him I'll do it with my doctor during the week. I swear I felt I was going to get contaminated with something there. Paid my copay and left. I'll NEVER go back there. From the place to the doctor, the place is disgusting. read more

This is one of the cleanest urgent cares I have visited. I love how the staff is friendly and it doesn't remind me of a clinic. It's convenient enough where I walked in, consulted with a professional about what was bothering me and I got the service I needed, all without having to wait in line at a the doctors office with other people coughing on me. This is a super convenient addition to the neighborhood and I am just plain impressed. read more

I got there at about 8:30, and was seeing a doctor by 9. It was pretty dead in there, but still, some urgent cares have you waiting for hours. The doctor was really nice and quickly assessed me and prescribed what I needed. 20% off for non insurance havers! read more

Super clean establishment, nice waiting room. The receptionists are super friendly and nice. Parking is plentiful, easy access. Wait time is minimal, at least while I was here. Dr and other staff are super nice, making you feel comfortable even when you might be in pain etc. Overall if you live around here and need urgent care, drop in 8am-8pm. read more

Excellent and quick service. I was traveling down south and my daugter got sick. I called in and they gave me directions on how to get there. They took our insurance and brought us back right away. We were in an out within 45 minutes. Would definitely use them again if we lived in the area. read more

I brought my employee at this Urgent care for the accident that happens at work, they take super good care of him with some stitches, every one was so professional and kind,I like to thank every body there, if you are living in Sunland or tujunga area this is much better choice than going to hospital ER, and much more affordable place. read more

If you're expecting to see a doctor at this place you would be better off asking your next door neighbor for advice on your condition. Atleast your neighbor might actually care. He probably will respect your privacy too. I swear if any of my information gets out or if i have any suspicion people are talking about it I'm going to get a lawyer and sue this place and put this doctor out of practice. read more

I went to this urgent care last week. I went in with a horrible cold and cough. Thankfully, they accepted my insurance so I was able to get checked in within a few minutes. I was seen by the MD and I can't remember his name but he was a nice gentleman who was able to see me and diagnose me. He didn't give me a prescription because he said it was viral and that I didn't need anything except a lot of rest....I was able to take a few days off work which I didn't mind at all! Overall, I think his advice was great. The atmosphere in the office is great. It's small and cozy and most importantly CLEAN! The staff is very kind and they made sure my visit here went by smoothly. I'm hoping I won't need them too often but I'm glad they're at the corner. I just wish the parking was more convenient. read more

I want to make sure I share what I thought this place was all about. Professional start when you walk in the doors. It is equipped with high level of equipment like any hospital but the service I got to say is amazing unlike any hospital ER. I took my Dad there for a check up for a stomach pain and the minute I said he is in pain and he needs to be checked the front desk called the doctor and he was with us in a cubical under few minutes. Check up went well and we were happy since nothing was wrong with Dad thank God. Thank you First Aid for being so up front and helpful. I will go back there next time for sure. They took me in right away and I saw the doctor in a matter of few minutes. He was very caring, and I left feeling sense of relieve. I would definitely come back here. I can't bring myself to give this place one star for two reasons- one is because of how fast they were able to get blood test results back and the other is the nurse, Axel. Though it took 2 visits to even get properly checked out, when I explained the problems I was having with the office to Axel, he was able to get me seen properly. If you're not sure what's wrong with you and you need some guidance, I wouldn't go here. If you know exactly what you need maybe Axel can help you get that. The people at the front desk are very kind and the place appears very clean as well. read more

(This happened about a year ago) My daughter had a bad case of pink eye with all the yucky discharge and stuff. I didn't want to drive all the way to Glendale to see her usual doctor and decided to try this urgent care. The front desk girl was nice, friendly and polite. Didn't wait too long to get called in which was also nice. Now, I don't really remember the name of the doctor that saw my daughter but here's where things go downhill: he walks in the room, no introduction, barely approaches my daughter and says it's allergies. I respect doctor's opinions but this didn't seem like allergies to me. I said it looked like pink eye and she's got lots of discharge coming out. He said "no, it's allergies. Put some Visine drops and it'll get better" said if it got worse to go to the ER.... WTF just happened?? Upset I drove to cchc in Glendale and fortunately we saw her doctor only to confirm she had pink eye! I told my husband about my ordeal and when he called to complain he was told this doctor is actually an OBGYN! Appalling and upsetting!! So if anyone has pink eye or the flu and wants to be seen by a gynecologist then this is the urgent Care for you! SMH... read more
