DO NOT COME HERE!!! Front desk was so incredibly rude. I called beforehand to make sure I could do a walk in before coming in tonight. Was told I could do a walk in as long as I arrive by 5pm (they close at 6pm). We sped over. Walked through the doors at 4:59pm. Patiently waited for front desk to finish talking to patient in front of me to let her know I'm doing a walk in. It was exactly 5pm. She wouldn't take us. Not only would she not take us, she was SO INCREDIBLY MEAN!!! She looked like and sounded like she hates her job. Completely lost my business. Never coming back. Believe the other reviews that say the front desk makes it not worth coming here. Go to Care Fast Urgent Care down the street instead. Front desk has always been polite there. We have been coming to this urgent care for years, and until today I have never had a reason to complain about the service. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing due to our interaction with the front desk receptionist, I think her name is Karla. She spoke with a rude tone and came across as dismissive when patients asked questions or shared concerns. Coming to urgent care is already stressful, and patients should not feel uncomfortable or unwelcome when they arrive. I do want to emphasize that the PAs and nurses here are always excellent. They are kind, attentive, and professional. This is why this is our to go urgent care. I hope the front desk staff can receive additional customer service support so the overall experience reflects the high level of care the medical team consistently provides. read more

Both of the receptionist were helpful, pleasant & caring, to the Doctor before & after getting my X-ray results, explained everything so that I could understand. We came in today after an incident with our 5 month old baby. This was our first time having to take her to urgent care and I was incredibly nervous. I'm the type of mom that has done an obnoxious amount of research before choosing a pediatrician or dentist so going to a place somewhat blindly was nerve wracking. Thankfully, it was such a great experience! The front desk receptionist was very kind and helpful and so was the nurse that took us back. My baby was seen by Lauren. I am so grateful for the care I received at Burbank Urgent Care. I sustained a small dog bite and wanted to get it checked out just to be on the safe side. I came in at 7pm and they close at 8pm, the receptionist asked if I had a reservation to which I responded no and she kindly let me know that they were no longer taking walk-ins for the evening. She asked for my insurance information and was helping me find other urgent cares in the area which I greatly appreciated. While my family members and I were also looking up other urgent cares, the receptionist somehow found a way to squeeze me in and let me stay. The check-in process was easy - I did everything on my phone. I did not have to wait long at all. Joe took me to the room and obtained my medical history and he was very friendly. I was assisted by PA Melisa who took a look at my wound and assured me that it was fine, provided me with care instructions and prescribed some antibiotics just be safe. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes! In addition, the facility was clean with ample parking. I am so appreciative of the service I received here!! read more

This is the closest urgent care that I will go to in my network and I have been very happy so far. The front desk staff is friendly and quick at getting you in and out. Dr. D is a very understanding Dr whom wants to help you and help figure out what is really going on. The nurses are super friendly and approachable about things as is the ultrasound tech. The doctors at this urgent care are great -- very professional and caring -- but the front desk staff really bring down the experience. This is the third time I've called with a simple question and been met with rude, dismissive behavior from the receptionists. When I called about my mom's medication, the person on the phone acted like I was bothering them instead of trying to help. Customer service should be key, especially in healthcare. Had to come here due to a knee problem. Walked in early afternoon and it was fairly busy. You can check in and fill out out registration forms via your phone or papers from the front desk; the phone form was pretty quick. The wait was about an hour but once you were called in, it wasn't too much of a wait to be seen. The front desk lets you know how long the wait will be and even gives you the option to come back at the allotted time, which is great. Dr. Lee was wonderful! Such a kind and thorough doctor. Made sure to go through everything with me and wanted to follow up. The staff here is also very kind and caring. Kim was amazing! The office (from waiting room to the individual rooms) were clean and organized. This urgent care location is great and I will definitely be coming back for any urgent care needs. I love this place - Dr. Lee is fantastic. Best bedside manner I've seen in a doctor. He's treated my youngest child twice now, once from a fall when she was an infant and recently with an injured elbow that needed to be reset. He saw her immediately and didn't require us to wait 90 minutes as walk-ins due to her young age, which I REALLY appreciated. He made sure she was completely better and took great and quick care of her. I hope he never leaves! I am so glad I found this place! When our friend hurt his hand, I immediately took him to the urgent care by my house, only to be told they do not do laceration repairs after waiting. My husband called around and found Burbank Urgent Care and we were in and out within an hour. Everyone was so nice and Dr. Devaraj was wonderful! Hopefully we won't be needing to visit urgent care centers in the future but if we do, this is where we'd go for sure! read more

I went in to Burbank Urgent Care with a painful allergy reaction. I was able to hold out until I was seen by the doctor though. In short, this is an Urgent Care Facility I would certainly recommend. A quick note: come with your Health-insurance card ready, and preferred pharmacy picked. It will speed up the check-in process. Dr. Devaraj was concise, experienced, and to the point. He diagnosed me properly and prescribed me some medication which has helped my symptoms. Respectfully, the bedside manner of the staff seem weathered; likely from seeing several ailing patients day-to-day. But I would say they are very professional. So rest assured you are seemingly in good hands. ----- PSA Directions: 'Burbank Urgent Care' is the smaller Door to the right of the main entrance. Again, to the right. The larger Front Door is to OSS Health Network and their staff is --VERY rude and uncaring. Luckily, Burbank Urgent Care is next door! ------ Overall, my experience here was not as sympathetic as some Kaiser facilities I've been too, but healthcare is a tough job --and fortunately they know what they're doing here. First of all it's like walking into a real doctor's office. Professional all the way. Receptionists are competent and efficient. Medical professionals are knowledgeable and compassionate. They listened to what I had to say and asked the right questions. Diagnosis was fast and appropriate prescriptions were given, with a return appointment for follow-up suggested and made, with an excellent experience there as well. Dr. Lee was incredibly caring and took the time to really listen. They were able to do both bloodwork and an X-ray right in the office, which was super convenient and helped me feel reassured he was really listening to my concerns and the symptoms I was having. The rest of the staff was wonderful too. Everyone was so kind, patient, and compassionate. Urgent care visits can sometimes feel stressful but this one didn't at all. The people at the reception desk were rude. Per a conversation a few people were having, at least one of them doesn't support vaccinations, which is fine, but nobody their had on masks regularly, especially in the vicinity of patients. Also, -- and this is totally unrelated, but still weird -- I happened to lock eyes a couple times with one of the people at the desk just because she was walking around and happened to be in my line of sight, and she actually like mean-mugged me? Like lowered her face and stared at me over her glasses. Kind of funny, but also really unprofessional and on par with the way she interacted with me and the other patients who came in. Wait times and stuff are totally understandable. And with today's climate, I get if people who work in the healthcare industry aren't super friendly all the time. But you don't have to go out of you way to be mean to people, especially if they're already worried enough to go to an urgent care clinic. HOWEVER, when I got to finally see the doctor, he was super attentive and diagnosed me after some thorough testing. I did physical therapy soon after, and it was extremely effective because of his diagnosis. read more

While the staff was very nice and Dr. Lee seemed efficient and competent my overall impression is not great for a few reasons. I chose Burbank UC because my doctor recommended them. I thought I might have a bad sprain because I had twisted my ankle the previous Sunday and the pain had not gone away. As expected Dr. Lee ordered an X-ray. I had purchased a sleeve from the drug store to stabilize the ankle and Dr. Lee seemed to think that was adequate for a sprain. He gave me (5) 5mg Norco for pain. (Friday). I was told the X-rays would be emailed to me before the end of business on Friday. When the pain worsened I used the chat method to communicate with the clinic well before 5pm. No response. When I hadn't heard by 5pm I again used the chat method asking where the report was, no response. On Saturday morning I phoned and was told they had no email on file for me. That was inaccurate as I had specifically put my preferred method of communication was my gmail account because it pops up instantly on my phone and I was anxious. My phone number was also on the form I submitted so I'm not sure why someone didn't call and ask (again) for my email address? When I reviewed the report it looked like I have a fracture. My brother is a retired physical therapist who told me to get a boot and that surgery probably would not be required if I stabilized the ankle. It was now Saturday and if I had gotten the X-ray as promised on Friday I could have gotten a boot and a cane which I'll need. The woman at BUC told me I'd have to pay $80 for a boot and a cane would also be out of pocket despite the fact my insurance covers both. So no, I don't think I'd use this facility again. Had I not followed up diligently as I did I wouldn't hold BUC responsible but it's my feeling they dropped the ball and couldn't be bothered to get in touch with me regarding care of my ankle which is worse than originally thought. read more

I had my 1st kidney stones experience this morning. It was the worst pain I have ever felt. I decided to go to Urgent Care and saw that Burbank Urgent Care was relatively close. There is definitely enough parking and since it was Saturday, there was also plenty of street parking too. I went inside, and checked in through an iPad. They said you a text with a link to fill out a form. Have a picture of your insurance card or physical card handy is my advice. That was my only delay. The staff is very stoic in the beginning, but as I stayed a bit longer getting called in and out, they became very friendly. They called me as soon as I needed to be in attendance. The doctor was also the same, very direct initially, but after the conclusion, he felt as if he was just my homie, probably because it was good news. Hands down the best Urgent Care of the 2 that I have been to. The waiting area is very dated though. read more

Front desk is rude, unprofessional! They do not greed patients coming in and ignore you while you're standing in front of them to provide a document your provider has given you. They need to hire some one who acknowledges patients coming in and leaving, not just someone who seats there and acts like there is no one there. This summer I came there to pay 200$ for blood tests and with my questions. I said my symptoms and my story with my mom that had the same problem that 90% could be with me as well. The doctor was laughing at me and saying that I'm 25 years old and it's too young to check my thyroid even though this is my family. He didn't let me to check my tyroid. He just took my blood test and I was OK at the moment. However, they took my blood and I got no answer from them for a while that I called then I called them in six weeks and asked for my results at least for the papers. I didn't get any.. then I went to another doctor and I got the results from him and I realized that I have problem and it's low function and it's affect my life. I'm not recommending you this spot they taking money which is 200 which is a lot but they take no responsibility for result they don't care. I see no results no resolving my problem.. and I've got the answer that I'm 25 and it's too young to check it. Very bad service. read more

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this urgent care...! It's exactly 9 minutes away from my apartment on Lankershim Blvd and Saticoy...i was seen again by Dr. Berry... (I was there in early July due to, what turned out to be, a "popped" rib cartilage...) Dr. Berry gave me excellent service... He did this evening too... I saw him because I thought I had left kidney issues... Turns out, no infection was detected in my urine sample... It turned out to be a muscle spasm in my liwer back hip area... He gave me a mild shot for the pain... And prescribed a muscle relaxer... EXCELLENT, TO-NOTCH SERVICE...! Oh... Sandra, the nurse, was great too...! read more
