First, I should not have been charged anything, since they did not give me the "same-day" crown that I was scheduled for! I certainly don't deserve PERSISATN text reminders from the Knightdale office for payment. I called this office to ask what was going on. They claimed I had visited their location on that date! I never visited that location for this or any recent dental care. It became clear that the Knightdale location had issued the charge of $146. I contacted both offices to get the clarification that the visit in question was being charged $50.50, However, only the Brier Creek location had provided care. Disorganized, miscommunication, and unprofessional harassing billing practices.

After I expressed my concerns my visit turned around. My dental hygienist, Dr. Turner & the other dentist made a point to make things better and were apologetic. Dr. Turner is a great dentist and was very accommodating. The dental hygienist was helpful. My future visits have been much better.

She takes the time to listen, genuinely cares about her patients, and has always treated me with kindness and respect. Her dental assistant and the hygienist who cared for me were also wonderful. They were patient, compassionate, and made me feel comfortable throughout my treatment. Unfortunately, my experience at the front desk was completely different. I arrived for what I believed was my confirmed appointment, only to be told it was no longer on the schedule. I asked to speak with a supervisor and was told one was not available, but that the doctor would be contacted. Instead, another individual came to the front desk, sat down at a workstation that was already logged in, and began looking through the computer before telling me that I could not be seen and offering to reschedule me for the next day. When I politely asked to speak with Dr. Morrison, I observed the individual's tone and body language change. I felt she became rude and dismissive, repeatedly telling me that Dr. Morrison was busy and had other patients, even after I calmly explained that I was willing to wait. I also felt that she was trying to prevent me from speaking with either Dr. Morrison or the dental assistant who had personally scheduled and confirmed my appointment just two days earlier. After I was finally brought to the back by a hygienist, both Dr. Morrison and the dental assistant told me they had been completely unaware of what had occurred at the front desk. They were unaware that I had repeatedly requested to speak with them or that there had been a scheduling issue. I believe the situation could have been resolved much sooner had they simply been informed that I was asking to speak with them. While I have complete confidence in Dr. Morrison and greatly appreciate the care provided by her clinical team, I left disappointed by my front desk experience and concerned about how the situation was handled. I sincerely hope the practice reviews what occurred so that future patients are treated with the same professionalism, respect, and communication that Dr. Morrison and her clinical staff consistently provide. because **Dr. Morrison** is one of the kindest, most compassionate, caring, and professional dentists I have ever met.
