Got a text message yesterday saying my appointment needed to be rescheduled. Next day, I get another text asking me to confirm my appointment. This is confusing, like you'd expect, so I call. After a 7 minute wait to speak with someone, I get transferred to a rude person who answers the phone with, not hello, not how can I help you, but straight to the business as she says "Patients name and date of birth please". After locating me in her database I explain the situation and she said yeah doctors going to be away for a couple weeks of vacation, so I ask her then why would you set an appointment with me 6 weeks ago, if the doctor had a vacation planned at that time? Her response was "he's a surgeon and he gets called places", whatever that means, but what I heard was "He's a surgeon who doesn't really care about customer satisfaction and has no concept of respect for MY time because his is worth more." Incompetent. Poor service. Poor communication. Poor phone ettiquette. Doctors don't care. All in all, 2 stars. I'm told someone from the Dr's office is going to call and schedule a new appointment with me, which I highly doubt will happen. I've had it with their call center. The office refuses to do anything about it. They are not experienced and caused a huge delay in care before by not putting the right messages through. This last time though was the worse experience ever. I was told that because it was almost 5pm I needed to give that person my full attention. All I was doing is pulling up my calendar to double check date and telling my husband to remove kids from the car so I can consentrate and hear the person on the other line. 5pm maybe your clock out time but you are still dealing with a customer you have to wait. I and my wife had enrolled with the above group at Anaheim Hills since January 2022. Our experience with them is far from satisfactory. Their 800 number, the receptionist and the staff service is just deplorable. The appointment scheduler just does not care and is practically unavailable in person. The voice mails left with them or the doctor are rarely returned. Even the messages left for the doctor at the portal are not returned. Our experience with them for the 10 months has been just bad, not worth recommending, and we are planning to change them as our Primary Physician for 2023 when the next Medicare Enrollment is due. This is by far the worst service you would expect when you visit your doctor that is connected with this company. This company makes you more ill as you will get notice after notice that you have outstanding balance. When you visit your doctor, you have to make the co payment in order to see the doctor. Then 2 weeks later, you receive a friendly letter from "First Choice Physician Partners" that you did not pay. What kind of non sense is this? I moved to CA and found a doctor that my family like, but we have this payment issues every time we go see the doctor. I strongly believe that there are so many people double pay to make this company rich. I am thinking about changing my doctor because of this. This is a SCAM... Last year, I had another doctor referred from my primary care doctor to have a procedure done. I paid at the hospital before the procedure of course. (Copay). A month later, I started receiving overdue payment from this SCAM company. I went to the doctors office twice explaining things, showed them my receipts and everything. The doctor's office said they'd take care of it but they did NOT. All of sudden I received a notice from a collection agency for the amount which I paid. I paid the collection agency right away as I did not want to ruin my credit for this stupid thing. Collection agencies do not know the history where this SCAM company (First Choice Physician Partners) just sold their outstanding account receivables to collection agencies. I am so sick of this company's behavior... I might have to change my primary care doctor because of this non sense. Please avoid any doctors associated with FIRST CHOICE PHYSICIAN PARTERS. The receptionists at 35 Casa Street, San Luis Obispo location are insufferably mismanaged, rude, uncaring, robotic and just plain unknowledgeable. They robotically repeat: We are booked for 5 months. After I explained that the emergency room referred me, she said I need to go to them and get my records and then give to her and she will give to the medical team to see if they can see me. Malpractice lawsuits for sure with this incompetent place that is always booked and then the unprofessional bimbos with attitude at the front desk who say, "I am just the front desk." I was referred to the Modesto office of Dr. QUAID last year for breast cancer and mastectomy, found the doctor to be very compassionate and capable.however I believe after working in the health care field for 30 years ,you're on as good as your staff. The surgery sxheduler for her canceled my surgery appt without notifying me said I didn't have my cardio clearence some enough.in truth I wasn't having surgery for two weeks.she got it the next day. So I called the next day .she said too late, no openings for a month. She could squeeze me in then. So rude. I said this isn't a Nail Appt. Its cancer. I then called her front desk ro aee if I might leave a message for rge doctor. And was told to "settle down" "I has already talked to the scheduler" no I could not leave the doctor a message. I just wanted to get my surgery. I found another surgeon through my doctor. He was appalled I was treated this way. I had a wonderful experience I have a PPO ins and was able to get into see a surgeon the same day. I went in for a consultation and ended up having a minor office surgery that same day with Dr.Seavy. The MA Rashael was so professional and amazing they were both so easy to talk to and answered all of my questions. They made me feel comfortable and very calm I have had to go in each day for dressing changes and Rashael has greeted me with a smile and made the process so easy!! My husband has been seeing a urologist at FCPP for almost 2 years, and recently had a colonoscopy with a gastroenterologist there. While we both believe that the doctors are more than competent and we like his urologist very much, I have to say that the office procedures are absolutely horrible. During the recent colonoscopy, two polyps were removed and sent for biopsy. Dr. Ringer told us to call in one week for the results. My husband called exactly one week later, last Thursday and was told he would receive a call back with his results. No call received by 9:30 am Friday morning so he called again and was again told he'd be called back shortly. Well no call, so we had to wait all weekend, and they finally called him on Monday afternoon with the results, fortunately all benign. But we spent several days worrying unnecessarily. When you are waiting to find out if your biopsy was cancerous or not, and they have those results and just cannot get around to calling you back, that's a problem. Unacceptable! As for urology, Dr. Fauconier is knowledgable and we both have a great deal of confidence in him, but every single appointment that is scheduled gets rescheduled and they have tried to push back his follow up appointments not by days or even weeks, but my months. Husband had a 6 month follow up appointment earlier this year and the office staff tried to push it back another 6 months. The best we could do was a 3 month push back. This happens with every appointment. They are obviously hugely under staffed and that is affecting patient care. They tried to do the same with his last appointment, a post ct scan follow up. Doctor wanted to see him within a few days of the scan, but the office tried to push it out by 3-4 months. After getting really angry and pushy with them, they grudgingly scheduled him within 3 weeks and good thing they did because there were new developments in the results that needed to be dealt with sooner rather than later. FCPP needs to hire more doctors, and they need to put patient care and communication on a much higher priority! read more

The office staff and Doctors were great in the beginning but then my doctor moved and is no longer a doctor with them. So they told me I had to pick a new doctor. I picked a new doctor and talked to a staff member over the phone the whole time about the doctor. Things seemed to be fine. They sent me paperwork in the mail to fill out for the new doctor. When it come down to it I can't be seen by that new doctor because he only sees patients that are 55 or older. Would have been nice to know that before going through all that. So then I try and get a new doctor and they say I will not be able to be seen for two weeks because I would be considered a new patient again. I was on the phone with the staff for over 20+ min and then got hung up on. I called again talked to another person and was put on hold so long that the phone sent me back to the main menu and they thought I was a new caller. Horrible staff!! i have never been to a doctors office where the front desk is so good and then Dr karam , was such a excellent MD. I enjoyed the way the had the office set up, especially with the checkout, its really fast and its nice to have polite people working in the doctors office, it is a very friendly environment and the girls at the front desk and the girl at the check out, i believe her name is Nikki or Nicole was a pleasure to deal with, i am so glad i switched from kaiser to a PPO. I saw dr kennedy she said she would send a prescription to Walmart on plaza park way and it would be there by time we were there. we left her officice at 5:10pm and went to walmart at 6;00 pm . they had not received the the prescription . we waited until 8:20 pm , and called them back , and they still had not received anything from dr. kennedy. Dr. Karam and Dr. Boozer are great and that is why I gave them 1 star (they deserve 4-5 stars). The front desk is very rude-eating, looking at cell phones and NOT friendly (except for the one that sits at the middle computer at Dr. Karam's) First of all-forget EVER getting to talk to anyone in your doctor's office, all calls after a 30-60 min. hold are answered by a switchboard. They are not friendly--when they answer just spit out your day of birth because that's about all they are interested in. Be prepared to not get any of your messages relayed correctly. They were actually so late getting me in to my appointment, that when I came out to the front desk there was only one of the receptionist was sitting and eating, she said she was on lunch break and couldn't help me. I told her I needed a lab slip and she said it would be mailed to me (which of course it wasn't) I could go on and on about "cattle call experiences" there.
