Contacting them and getting an appointment was easy. I liked how they used text messaging to confirm the appointment, give me a heads up when the plumber was on the way, and even a link that shows the name of the plumber (Everett) with vehicle tracking so you know where they are and their estimated time of arrival. Everett was able to find the issue - a broken o-ring - and fix it right away. The service cost $150, which is probably tough for some of y'all to swallow based on the issue. However, I've long ago accepted that I will never be a handy person and that my lack of knowledge isn't a bad thing. Rather, it supports local businesses and respectable tradespeople in the process. Our project was supposed to take 2 weeks, but instead too over 5 months due to their disorganization and lack of quality work. At one point they left us without our kitchen sink for a week and after calling them multiple times, we finally had to hire our own plumber to perform the install. Restoration Experts caused additional small water leaks in our house, scratched newly refinished hardwood floors, tore paint off walls, and had to fix multiple things that weren't done correctly the first time. We even had to purchase our own mounts for a cabinet they repaired improperly and weren't interested in fixing to the industry standard. They seem to want to get the job done, but aren't worried about the quality of work, so watch them closely. The only positives about this company were the drying service they provided after our water leak and one of their employees Jimmy. Restoration Experts of NC might be fine for small jobs or drying after a leak, but if you have anything more complex I would definitely look for a better company.
