We hired Richard and his team to convert our master bathroom tub/shower combo into a walk-in shower. They completed the work in a few days and the results were amazing! The folks at Hinshaw Tile are great to work with. My wife and I had a large walk-in shower in our master bathroom that needed to be replaced. I contacted Hinshaw Tile to get an estimate. Patrick came out and provided a quick and competitive estimate. Once the estimate was accepted, it was only a few days before the work began. Richard and his crew showed up on time, and the work was done quickly and professionally. They made sure the floors were covered and they cleaned up at the end of each day. They even showed me where the original shower walls had failed as they were tearing them down. Once all the work was completed, Richard did a final walk-through to make sure everything was cleaned up and the work was done as estimated. They showed up on time, worked quickly and well, offered useful advice, kept their work area clean, and left us with two strikingly beautiful bathrooms -- all for a very reasonable price. After Patrick reviewed our project and sent us a quote the project was slatted to start the following Wednesday. Mr Hinshaw showed up the next Monday, I let him know the project will not be ready till Wednesday as agreed upon by Patrick. Mr Hinshaw said he would return the following Monday. They never showed, I called tried to call them the previous Friday, Saturday and Sunday and sent emails. Their is no way to communicate with them!!! No told me finally Monday morning at 9:30 am they were not coming and don't want to do the job. Because I ask that they sign a sub-contractors agreement. They said they do not sign any agreements. I lost a week of progress in the home because of their unprofessional business ethics. They are straight out losers and would not recommend them at all. Caution - if a contractor does not enter in an agreement, do not hire them!!!!! read more

Avoid this company at all costs! They were recommended to us through our general contractor to rebuild the glass black wall in the corner of our master bathroom shower. In about a year, the simple project has completely failed. Mr Hinshaw made a visit after my initial phone call and request he come and look at what had happened. Upon inspection of his work, he simply scratched his head and said he didn't know what had happened and how to fix it.. He asked for some time to allow him to do "research". Two months later after not hearing from him, I called and he once again asked for more time. A third call about a month later, I told him it was getting worse and it simply needed to be replaced. That is the last time I spoke with him. I got my general contractor involved, and he has now stopped taking his calls as well. Completely unprofessional behavior and shoddy work that doesn't hold up. We had a glass block in this same place that lasted 20 years. His work only lasted a year. Now we have to pay to have it redone with no word of apology from him. He does NOT stand behind is own work. read more
