I was so happy to arrive here!! After a crummy hotel in Moab this place felt like a 5 star resort. Great brand hotel. Clean rooms and nice fresh linens. This hotel had pee stains in the hallway and smelled funny. Charged too much for what it had to offer. Its is a pet friendly motel and I get it but, clean the carpets. The white towels in the bathroom had stains on them. Thankfully I brought my own to wash my face and shower with. Throw those away and get new ones. Staff was friendly. read more

Had a very unimpressive first impression of this hotel. I saw online that check in was at 1pm so I scheduled my trip to arrive just after 1pm when I checked in the owner let me know that it would be about an hour till the room was ready which was no problem gave me time to check out the little town. I can back at 4pm and went up to the room and when I went in there was still trash and beer bottles scattered throughout the room. I went back down and was going to just check out and go to the holiday inn at the other end of town the owner stopped me and got me a room that was actually clean. so I figured I'd give them the benefit of the doubt. I wish looking back I would have just left. I was there for work and stayed a week. They didn't service the room once and mentioned it was because COVID (I've been traveling a lot throughout Utah and this is the first hotel that didn't service the room not even to drop off fresh towels or sheets) I tried calling in the morning one of the days to ask if they would service the room and agreed to them just dropping off a new towel and placing new sheets in the room while I was working. It took 2 hours and 3 calls to get ahold of the front desk as their voice mailbox was full. When I returned they didn't even drop off the sheets or towels. They boast a 4star hotel experience and I've had better stays at hole in the wall 1star hotels. they also raise the price even on extended stays to the special weekend price which was higher than every other day. I would recommend staying away from this hotel and booking a different one in this town if you are looking for a nicer more premium 4star hotel. read more

During our stay, the staff was friendly and helpful. During a serious medical emergency, they provided us with the support we needed. In fact, they comped our rooms just because they wanted to be kind. I would highly recommend First Choice Inns in Green River Utah. read more

Despite calling the hotel numerous times to help change/cancel a reservation, the employee on the phone told me they couldn't assist us with the change because it would "affect their commission". They also had no manager available and that the manager was "on vacation". It seemed that there was only one manager at this hotel (?) We then, out of schedule, had to drive several hours and a few hundred miles to the hotel so that we didn't waste our booking. Upon arriving there the room had a weird smell to it. The shower handle barely worked - you have to pull it out of the wall so hard that you thought you're going to break it, or slip back and fall. I'm a fairly strong guy who is athletic, and if I'm having trouble with it good luck to anybody else. The towels were terrible, fraying at the seams and not very absorbent. We had to use the extra small rags to completely dry off. The breakfast was also terrible - get something in town instead. To top it all off there was also a dog owner in the room next to us. The dog was constantly barking from 5am to 7am, waking us up. We told the front desk and they did nothing. We paid $160 for this room after tax, whereas anywhere else it would easily be an $80 or less room. Definitely not worth the money. Don't stay here. read more

Located about 40 miles away from Arches national park. Friendly staff and rooms are bit outdated but very clean, but it is not worth the 200+ I am paying for. There was a loud machines noise going on and off every 30 min or so right underneath my room which was really annoying and it knda affected my sleep throughout the night. FYI, I stayed in room 202, avoid this room or rooms around it, or you won't have a good night sleep. read more

Less than one star! Be carefull about spending your money here and trusting these people.Do not stay here the customer service is garbage. So I book a room over the phone and get my confirmation number. Drive three hours to green river only to be told my card was declined. Mind you it is 2am. They tell me my card is rejected and tell me I can't have my room, which I have already paid for. I offer to pay in cash she refuses. I proceed to ask another guest to pay for my room and I can give him cash he says yes out of the kindness of his heart. All the sudden the incompetent desk girl turns into some attorney, warning him of his obvious decision. All in all she convinces him to change his mind and they call the cops and have me thrown out... I will be filing a formal complaint with corporate. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! read more

Although the staff is friendly and the free breakfast is good, this hotel needs updated for the price they charge. The price does not match the quality by a long shot. The rooms are clean but old outdated furniture and musty smell. We like to stay at Holiday Inn Express because of the normal consistency of good quality for good price but this is definitely the least favorite of any we've stayed. read more

I have now stayed at this Holiday Inn twice, the first time was 3 stars, the second was 1. We got in about 6pm and the parking lot was empty, we go into the lobby and are told a king bed room was $111, for a Sunday night that seemed kinda pricey. We didn't feel like leaving to shop for a better price, and like I said I had stayed here before so we stayed. After dinner we decided to hit up the hot tub. The maintenance person must have added too many chemicals to the hot tub, after about 2 min of sitting my eyes and my girl friend's eyes started to burn from the fumes off the water. We sat for about 10 more minutes and had to leave due to the burning. We went back to the room and wanted to take shower to wash off the chemicals. It literally took over 10 minutes to get hot water to our room, I know because I was watching a football game and there was 5 minutes left in the quarter so, with commercial breaks the water was cold when the next quarter started. Our room was at the end of the hall but 10 minutes! Once it was warm we started to wash the chemicals off and all of a sudden the water was super hot and would not go cold. The room was clean and breakfast was typical continental style that every hotel has now. If you go through Green River just to to the Comfort Inn next door, on the way back through from Denver home we got a suite on a Friday night for $85 with AAA discount. read more

The best hotel shower EVER!!! Seriously--it was awesome! The hotel was very quiet. Pet friendly. Had an EXCELLENT breakfast. Breakfast room was very clean and nice, with a tv in there. The room was clean and neat. Didn't love the mattress on the sofa bed and the regular bed mattresses were a bit worn. Bedding was great. Everything was well maintained. Nice cable package, nice tv and room was nicely furnished. WiFi was good. Front desk staff was pleasant. Parking lot was clean and well-lit. Parking was plentiful. Felt very safe there. No worries about car being broken into or being outside at night. Exterior of hotel looked very nice. Overall--it was a great experience. I would most definitely recommend to others. read more

This is one of the worst Holiday Inn Express hotels that we've stayed in . After 45 days of traveling and only staying in Holiday Inn Express I could not believe that their rooms had no microwave, no refrigerators , no egg white omelets featured at all other express hotels . I have stayed at many holiday inn expresses and this is not up to standard from what I have stayed at. I would say on the very low end of quality for holiday inn express. The rooms were musty and it felt like the sheets were wet from the musty air. Service was good and the staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Hotel is outdated. The carpets are old and musty and feel sticky when walking on hem. The price is extremely high for the quality. I am sure the summer demand drives the price up. I would have rather slept in my car at a rest stop honestly. read more

Great Holiday Inn Express every time I stay here. I recommend it to friends and family all the time. The management is excellent, and they always have great suggestions on what to do in and around Green River. The hot tub is always hot, the pool is always a good temperature, and there are cookies every night! Great breakfast, too. read more

The rooms are nice, but yet I paid 120$ for a two queen bed bedroom my daughter got sick and ended up throwing up everywhere I pay this money ask if we can get a maid service to clean it up properly then I'm told the maids have gone Home and quote, "you need to pick that up you can't leave that I'll bring you the vaccume and chemicals don't use or towels" um thanks told me what I had to do and then took forever to bring the stuff and have attitude when she brought it I don't get a discount for cleaning the room my self or a I'm so sorry to here she's sick or is she ok. I had a mishap with my stay here (no fault of the hotel) but they were great to work with and Holly was always a happy and positive person ready to help out anyway she could! Just amazing!!!! I'm giving 4 because it's excatly what i expected. It was clean, the front desk worker was very friendly and polite. I stayed on a random weeknight and it was very quiet. The room had a little bit of a smell but nothing serious, I was only there one night. I wouldn't recommend staying longer than a night or 2...it serves a purpose. But $100 a night to stay here is crazy...I can do a hotel in the heart of NY or LA for that price...and it'll be alot nicer. If that's what $100 gets you, I'm glad I didn't go with the other hotels that were cheaper..what would that look like?! All in all..if you have to stay in Green River, this place is a safe bet and worth a couple extra bucks...based on the looks of the rest of the town and the other reviews I read for other hotels there. read more

We stayed in a suite while we drove from Illinois to Las Vegas. It was perfect for a nights stay with our 4 kids and our cats. Clean rooms, Keurig, microwave, fridge in each room. The pool was spacious and the hot tub was hot, perfect after a long day of driving. Breakfast had lots of options, both healthy and decadent. The hot choices were just ok but the warm cinnamon rolls were wonderful. We would stay there again. read more

I wasn't impressed with the hotel itself. We stayed in room 111 on the ground floor. It was decent - but smelled a little musty. There were some things that could have looked better if there was more upkeep (door jam leading into the bathroom was pulling away from the wall), bathroom had the first stages of mold around the tub. The towels and sheets were older, in need of being replaced. Stained by makeup and a dingy grayish white color. We could not close the heavier curtain, so the light from the street and hotel across the street kept us awake for the night. Not very private at all, especially since the parking lot and sidewalk were right outside the window. The pool seemed a little cloudy for no one swimming in it. The surrounding area was clean enough. Breakfast in the morning wasn't earth moving. The first day I ate a cinnamon roll and an orange, second day I tried a biscuit. It was soggy on the bottom. For in the middle of nowhere, it could have been much worse. But for a Holiday Inn Express, we expected better. read more

On June 8, 2013, my Family and I were traveling from Colorado to California and didn't want to stay in Las Vegas. So we decided to stop in Green River, UT instead. $110.00 a night was a little bit pricey for the room we stayed in. We picked this Holiday Inn because it has a pool and hot tub. I love hot tubes! I am a priority member and received free water for my family at check-in. They also had chocolate chip cookies at the front desk. We stayed in a room on the ground floor. The room smelled a little musty. The pool and hot tub looked clean but the hot tube was a little cool for my taste. I did not like the fact the room we stayed in did not have a refrigerator or microwave. The staff was very nice and answered all our questions. Breakfast was the typical Holiday Inn breakfast. The dining area was clean and the staff kept everything well stocked. If we needed anything they would go get it immediately. Over all the stay was a good experience. If in Green River, UT again, I would stay at this hotel. read more
