This place is unique and lovely! There are three Guestrooms underneath the Tamarisk restaurant, facing the river. Our room had a cool acrylic wall art installation and the room was decorated in a cool way with great furniture. Oddly, we had an industrial sink in the kitchenette--which had a Keurig, mini fridge (with complimentary beverages) and microwave. There is no closet or dresser, but there is a cool aluminum stand for suitcases and a rail with hangers. There is a large TV with streaming services and a split unit AC and heater, as well as an air purifier. An excellently appointed room, friendly staff (you check in in the restaurant), and very clean. We will be back when passing through! read more

Wish we had booked one more night here! Lovely hidden treasure right next to the green river. Clean and modern interior rooms with complimentary beverages and coffee, great TV service offerings. Make sure you stay for the complimentary breakfast at the restaurant above. We almost decided against it, but it was totally worth it, best complimentary breakfast we've had at an overnight stay. Love these Guestrooms! Stayed in room 2 for one night, while passing through town. The room was spotless, the decor was modern and thoughtful. I loved the view from the room. There is a restaurant conveniently located upstairs. It can be a bit noisy while the restaurant is open, but definitely manageable. The hotel offers complimentary beverages in the small refrigerator in the room and a few delicious snacks too. Also included is a coffee machine, microwave and really big sink, with mugs/glasses (in addition to the bathroom sink). I would definitely recommend staying here! read more

There was a lovely patio from which admire the view and watch the sunset. And best of all the free breakfast! A perfect spot between Arches and SLC. Clean, modern, slick design of the room with a beautiful view of the green river. We walked under the bridge to visit Powell Museum in the morning and saw someone was taking care of the yard and dusting the exterior wall of the building. This is a real hidden gem where the rest of the options are just your basic boring room. Only 3 rooms, but their nicely decorated, and everything was spotless clean. Great big tv, good internet, and several complementary drinks and snacks. I'll be staying here every time I'm passing through Green River. Staff was friendly and the food at the restaurant was very good too, both for dinner and for the complimentary breakfast which was ordering from the menu. read more

There are not enough good words to describe this place! The rooms are adorable and clean! The view is outstanding! A lovely grass area is outside of the rooms if you don't want to get your feet sandy, or you can take a very short walk down to the river, or walk along the newly constructed concrete riverwalk path! Upstairs is Tamarisk, a great restaurant with food for even picky, vegetarian eaters like me. Stay here even if it's out of your way! read more

We found the Skyfall Guestrooms to be an exceptional experience & value. The unique rooms were masterfully decorated & equipt with extra niceties like an air purifier and sound conditioner in addition to all the usually amenities of a "suite" room (fridge/freezer (equipt with included beverages), microwave, Kurig coffee maker, ice bucket, and institutional-style sink. We also loved the walk-in shower (no tub). We were in room #1, (1 of 3) which we would highly recommend. From the custom tiled mosaic on the wall to the retro mid-century modern furnishings, the room had a chic modern vibe. The queen bed with duvet was very comfortable. And the quiet in-room HVAC was perfect. Looking out the windows we could view the Green River which meanders just below the room terrace. Each of the 3 rooms has 2 outdoor chairs and a table for enjoying the tranquil river scene. To top it off, the room includes a full breakfast (off the menu) from the Tamarisk restaurant, also highly recommended! The food was superb! read more

Fantastic owners, beautiful view, impeccable cleanliness, modern & fresh rooms-- can't recommend these highly enough. Allison, Nina, and Viry were absolutely amazing--went out of their way to accommodate us--we were completely unprepared for our trip but they helped us so much!!! The food at the restaurant is soooooo good too--very convenient that it's right there with the rooms. Get the coconut-crusted tilapia, mashed potatoes (my mouth is watering just thinking about them), and the brownie sundae! Breakfast is delicious as well, and everything is homemade. This was a great place to stay while passing through on I-70. We only stayed one night, but it was quiet and relaxing. The views of the river are wonderful, and the space itself is comfortable with a mini fridge stocked with drinks as well as a few extra snacks. The fact that it includes a full breakfast at the restaurant is a real plus. If you are passing through, this is a great alternative to the chain hotels in the area. read more

So glad we took a chance and tried something new, rather than staying at one of the chain hotels here on our way through. This is such a nice little bed and breakfast. But decorated modern... The design of the restaurant and the rooms is exceptional! Clean, friendly, free Wi-Fi, a view of the river right from the guestroom, we loved staying here on our way through from California to Denver. Really glad we stopped here and would highly recommend! I found the website to be just slightly confusing, but we were able to call around 8 PM and find a room available. We had an amazing experience and I think that every small hotelier should take notes from Skyfall! Located under the Tamarisk restaurant, the guestrooms are comprised of 3 rooms, each tastefully and uniquely decorated. Our room featured a wall decorated with an old rock climbing rope twisted into a silhouette of Goblin Valley - attractive, creative, and upcycled! They put thought into what people visiting Green River need: their clientele is going to be campers, hikers and outdoors people. Fitting those needs, the rooms are outfitted with a second sink outside the bathroom, a huge stainless steel basin perfect for washing things soiled by the outdoor activities. There's a mini fridge and it has a separate freezer, not just those useless little freezer areas. The shower is roomy and has one of those long flat drains. There are power outlets in the right places, a place to hang your clothes, a desk, a couch and even great window shades allowing you to either black out the light or just get privacy. They don't nickel-and-dime you!! Included with each room is free breakfast. Rather than it being a defined set of options, you are able to create your own order from anything off the restaurant's menu. Build your own breakfast. In the fridge is a variety of soft drinks, bottled water, and Poweraid, all free and refilled daily. There's a microwave and a free bag of popcorn for you. There's a Keurig and coffee, cream and sugar for you, also free. There is a sampling of the incredible honey caramels refilled daily (available for purchase upstairs, worth it!) There was a bottle of Bourbon and a couple Moab beers. Oh, nevermind, we brought those! The owners adapted to Covid really well also, including an air purifier in the room. You can have your meals ordered from the restaurant above brought down to your room. And the rooms are accessed directly from the outdoors, so no need to worry about social distancing on the way to or from your room. The rooms look out at the river itself, just a handful of feet away. One thing I assume the owners are thinking of, is that about an afternoon's worth of work could turn the patio by the river into a great sitting area for chilling and taking in the river. There's even a sandy beach there! All told, there's really no better option you could find in or near Green River, and really I wish this building could exist in every town I visit. This is well within reach of Arches, Canyonland and Capitol Reef national parks. We stayed two nights at Skyfall and had dinners and breakfasts upstairs at the related Tamarisk restaurant. There are only three rooms, but each is differently designed and decorated and all face the Green River. This was one of my favorite places EVER to stay! Great service and great decor. read more

What a great surprise this place was! We just needed a bed for the night and I booked this because of the pictures. Room was very well appointed, the bed and linens were great. The bathroom and room have all been upgraded totally to a standard you'd expect in a NYC boutique hotel, modern, sleek and comfortable. The rooms sit below the road and are quiet and have a nice view of the river. Our breakfast was included the next morning and was delicious.You could choose from anything on the menu at the restaurant upstairs. My only negative was that it was hard to find in the dark and hard to get the lock box on the door to work. Needs better signage. But I would certainly go back if I'm ever in the area again! read more

I wasn't going to write this, in fact I've debated for two days whether or not to write this, but it keeps nagging at me - so I'm writing this. A Caveat - this is NOT a review of the property itself, but rather my very recent experience in trying to get a room at this property. The fact that I was TRYING to get a room at this property should tell you all you need to know that from the reviews and pictures others have posted, that this was my preferred location. So - I am NOT knocking that at all - purely going to outline my experience in attempting to stay here. The Experience We are planning a CO trip and will be crossing UT on very specific dates - in September. In searching for places to stay and about where we'll be (there's dirt involved in this trip) - I came across reviews for the Skyfall Guestrooms. Looks very quaint, nice, clean, great view, and a decent price. Friday morning (notice - I said morning) - I went on their website - they only have three rooms total, two of which are available and one is reserved already. I chose the Book Cliffs room and attempted to make a reservation. Their website hung - and would NOT progress the reservation. After repeated attempts - and it now being 1pm - I decided to telephone and place my reservation over the phone. I called and the woman who answered told me that the person who runs the hotel (apparently this person only works for the restaurant) would not be in until 4pm and I needed to call back then. Between 1-4, I made more attempts to reserve the room online - nada. Fast forward to 4:05pm, I called and was handed over to the young girl working the guestroom reservations. She confirmed there were two room available, I told her I wanted the Book Cliffs room, she proceeded to take my information and confirmed the reservation for 8 September. I asked her if she needed my credit card info and she said "No, we'll take care of that later." Fine, I hang up a really happy camper. My girlfriend comes home from work and I show her the pics of the room we have reserved and the river view. She's really happy that it's a cute place and not a chain. She's happy, which makes me happy - Everyone's happy. Until......................... Saturday - we get a phone call from "Nick" from Skyfall. Let me say this - Nick is a really nice and very polite guy - I'm appreciative of the messenger - but the message seriously pissed me off. Nick proceeded to inform me that they cannot honor my reservation because while I made my reservation on the phone, someone else made their reservation online at the same time, so they are honoring that one instead. Some back and forth ensued with Nick apologizing the whole time, but not honoring my reservation. I told him that I had been trying since the morning, and that I had called 3 hours previously and they are the ones who delayed the process - not me. Nick still apologizing, me still without a room. So, then I said, fine, I'll take the other room. Um - Nick then tells me the other room is booked. Bullsh!t - that room was not booked. 2/3 rooms were available when I tried to book mine and there is NO WAY that they were both suddenly booked ahead of me when the girl I spoke with on the phone CHECKED her system and CONFIRMED that 2 rooms were available and confirmed my choice of the Book Cliffs room at that time. Let me restate this to be clear: SHE WAS PHYSICALLY LOOKING IN THE SYSTEM AND 2 OF THE 3 ROOM WERE AVAILABLE WHEN I WAS MAKING MY RESERVATION. I can't state this enough - Nick is a really nice guy with a great demeanor for this job - but - the outcome of this is I had a reservation, and got screwed out of my reservation. Kind of that slap delivered with a kiss concept. He did recommend their neighboring competitor (nice of him) - so, now I'm staying there, at the River Terrace Inn. Moral of the story folks - this looks like a really nice place, and I really wanted to stay there, but I'm not - and it appears to be the hotel's fault as to why not, and the facts behind the reasoning just don't add up. I'm very happy with Nick's demeanor, but not his message because it wreaks of something else and the customer, well potential customer anyway, is definitely not happy in this case. So, if you decide to stay here (who could blame you? It is a cute place) be forewarned, confirm it in their system as their word doesn't count for much. read more

This place is amazing! I couldn't believe we found it! We were just going to book a holiday inn or something but then this popped up and it was like gold. The pics on their website are totally accurate to how cute it really is. The rooms are so nice and modern. They've got a giant tv and free wifi plus a mini kitchenette including a mini fridge (super helpful when traveling across the country with food in a cooler!). The view from the window is beautiful, especially at sunset. I didn't want to close the blinds because it was so gorgeous! The staff were all super kind and helpful. The welcome bag is cute and contains some local caramel- delish! They have complimentary drinks in the fridge for you, which is so sweet and nice to not have to pay for a bottle of water for a change ;) The restaurant above is so delicious. We had dinner there and couldn't decide what to get because everything sounded amazing. Breakfast at the restaurant is included with your stay and it was delicious and perfect before our day of hiking and spending time on the road! We can't wait to come back! The room only has one bed but for two adults and our two small kids it worked great :) read more
