Saw the P/A who was knowledgeable and helped to more clearly explain my MRI results to me. I was scheduled to start PT the following week. I drove 45 minutes to the PT location only to see it was closed due to COVID19. I found out It actually closed 4 days before my appointment. Nobody ever called me to let me know. I left a message, nobody ever called me back. I heard from another medical group that First Choice was closing for good and their doctors and staff were moving around looking for work elsewhere. My doctor sent me to that facility about 3 months ago. They made me to wear my Hearingaid during the test and needless to say it got ruined beyond repairs I contacted the facility with scores of letter to the head haunch by name Michael Lamb. The man is procrastinating and putting a senior citizen under distress. They wanted my Hearingaid to confirm it is bad and Michael is so cheap he is walking to the repair facility That was more than a month ago. My calls to Micheal very rarely gets responded Normally all MRI facility have a big notice about removing Hearingaid But however this facility is kind of Unique like Trump Being in the WH. Do they have any real doctors at this practice? I scheduled an appt to see a Dr, and ended up only getting to see a PA, and still had to wait an hour past my appt time. I also noted the staff members refer to the PAs as doctors. A PA has nowhere near the training a doctor has to complete. They want me to have a follow-on appt, and they are still trying to schedule me with aPA, but a different PA because the first one is too busy. This means i have to start from scratch with a new person. What about getting to see a real doctor? i guess the doctors only do surgery. Better check the bill you receive. It shows that you saw a Dr., not a PA, and that is what they submit to the insurance company. Sorry folks, that is fraud. i shouldn't have to pay the rate for a Dr when i only see an assistant. read more

I do believe I paid my co-pay already. Billed again for co pay. Billed in the name of Dr. Thomas Foster, whom I never saw. in fact, I never saw any doctor. I will pay the stupid 30 bucks but believe it is not due and consider First Choice Medical Group as a sham. read more

I got great medical care from Dr. Newman for many years before and after he moved from Rockledge to Melbourne. Unfortunately, I now need my medical records from 2005 through 2013 as part of my Social Security case. IT'S BEEN 4 WEEKS AND I STILL DON'T HAVE THEM! They blame it on system problems, but I agree with some of the other negative comments on the staff at First Choice. I highly recommend going elsewhere because in the future, you may need your records for important life-affecting events. And you CANNOT count on this office to have the records you will need in the future! Good doctors are still a bad idea when their staff and support systems are EXTREMELY POOR. read more

Avoid! 1: They billed my ANTHEM $243 for one hour! My insurance knocked it down to $80. So I called to ask about the numbers. They default bill 4 times the medicare rate and they hope your insurance company pays them. What insurance doesn't pay, you get billed. If you walk in off the street with no insurance they bill you $85! The therapist sees two patients at a time. The therapists tries to recommend you do this, do that, use the electric stimulator or whatever. The therapist does NOT tell you that she bills each procedure individually! So you are writing a blank check when you walk in. The staff keeps referring to the Physician Assistant downstairs as Doctor! He is no such thing. And the staff also calls the PA a Physician! He is no such thing. Basically it is a rote puppy mill kind of operation. I scheduled to see Dr Harrison but never got close. They deflect you to the PA. they did NOT even look at the MRI images I brought. When I asked how big the alleged tear in my rotator cuff was they did not answer. When I persisted and asked the next week again, he said the images were of poor quality and he could not tell! So here is this PA now diagnosing and proscribing treatment without looking at a darn thing. They did NOT even look at the X-rays they took there that day since the computer in the exam room stopped working! It is a wham bam thank you maam sort of place. Avoid at all costs. I consider them medical liars, cheaters and scammers. I want to add that I went out of my way today to sign up on Yelp just to post this review in the hope that it enlightens people as to what they may expect from that office. I had an 11:10 appointment 12/19/17. I was on time. I went to the bathroom for 1 minute or less. I was also eating a bagel. Because of both of these things I was passed over for my appointment. (I had no knowledge that bagels were prohibited. If I had known, I would have ditched it.) Besides these, First Choice lost the x-rays that they took and were in their computer. Since the person with a later appointment else took my place I waited over an hour to talk with a PA to about my upcoming surgery. Had this discussion taken place on the phone, I would have been OK with that or I could have lived with something in writing and no discussion. So if you want to wait in a doctor's office unnecessarily, your know what your First Choice should be. read more

Dr. Lombardo is the best person in Brevard County to take care of your lower extremities (hips, ankles, knees, legs, and he knows who to send you to for feet). He has literally kept me upright for over 20 years, doing some very complicated surgery, some of which was related to cancer. Ruby is an outstanding surgery scheduler and will make sure you have what you need for any surgery. The business part of the practice makes errors and could treat patients with more kindness. That is also reflected in other reviews, and is true. But Dr. Lombardo himself has always treated me extremely well regardless of my circumstances. He is a wonderful human being in addition to being a great surgeon. read more

The staff is friendly, courteous and always greets you with a smile. I saw improvements in my condition in just a few visits. Their physical therapy staff is the best! Worst doctors office I have ever run across. You never get a real person when you call you get their voicemail that says "we will call you back within 24 hours". They do not mean 24 hours in a row, they rarely ever call you back. They do not give you any useful information you have to ask THEM questions and drag the answers out of them about how your medical treatment should work. Dr. Lombardo misdiagnosed my knees as just needing arthroscopic surgery and never did ex-rays on my bad knee just an MRI on my good knee. Finally ended up going to a doctor up in Gainesville who immediately did simple ex-rays on both my knees and said they were toast and I need complete knee replacement in both. read more
