After weeks of delays I decided to drive from Los Angeles to their Mission Valley location in San Diego to resolve the matter in person. When I arrived I was told I still needed additional documents. This was especially frustrating because I had emailed the day before to confirm everything was in order and was not informed of this. The only positive part of this experience was working with Tron at the Mission Valley branch. He went above and beyond, even staying after his shift ended to help me complete everything. He was empathetic, efficient, and made sure I left with the situation resolved. I want to acknowledge him by name because his professionalism and compassion stood out compared to the challenges I faced with member services. Overall I would caution others who need to handle account transfers after a family member's passing. Be prepared for delays, lack of communication, and missing information.
