I recently had fraudulent transactions on my account and immediately reported it. Covering my transactions fifthird left the fraudulent charge pending on my account for server Al days causing me to receive a total of $296 in overdraft fees. Fifthird only reversed $74 of this fees in the provisional credit. I again immediately called the dispute team and reported that this was not correct. They then did a "courtesy reversal" in the amount of $111 and told me that I would receive the remaining $111 once the dispute was finalized. They LIED. The case finalized Feb. 4th and I was told that all overdraft fees had been reversed and that the remaining $111 would not be refunded. This is the way that you lose business. Keeping you customers in the dark and lying to them over and over again. I knew something wasn't right when the charge was never removed and overdraft after overdraft hit the account. I immediately stopped using the account all together to wait out the claim and see the outcome of it all. So glad I went with my gut instinct or they probably would have gotten me for much more.

I inquired about opening an account and was given a piece of paper through a little slot in the teller window. She called it a brochure. I asked some basic questions like is there unlimited check writing for this type of account or what is the interest rate index for this savings account. She could not answer the most basic of questions, never asked me to sit down to discuss why I needed the account or what my regular balance would be, just kept me standing at the teller window with no room at all to even make notes on the paper, and was truly just a waste of my time. I slid the paper back through the little slot and said that I would expect to be treated better than that. I'm not high and mighty, but if this is the best this bank can do, then I'll find a better place to keep my money--somewhere where I am at least afforded basic courtesy and can speak to someone who actually takes an interest in what I need. If you have any level of sophistication, avoid this bank altogether. ​

Every time I have had dealings with them I have been made to feel as though they regret having had business dealings with me. Yes I had to file chapter 7 nearly 2 years ago due to identity theft, but my credit score is back to the upper 600's at this point. They initially told me I was approved for up to $1,000 (I only borrowed $500. I was just trying to get credit established). Several months ago I tried to get an additional $300 for new tires for my car and was told they MIGHT be able to do $100 from a lady whom I could tell felt insulted that I was even calling. I applied for a car loan of $4,500 on a car that was worth $8,000 most recently and after 8 days of being in pending status, called and was told "we can't help you". I would not recommend using them. There are plenty of other finance companies out there who would appreciate the business.

I usually always use the drive thru and the workers are always very nice and work with a quickness. No real complaints from me. They always deliver the services I need. They do have shorter hours and close early on a Saturday ( noon) but for a smaller bank in a smaller community I understand that.
