We have stayed twice now, the first time there was no toilet paper and the rooms were dirty but we figured you get what you pay for. This time we arrived and the towels had old mascara and makeup on them, there was visible mold in the fridge, and we made an extra stop to Walmart to by Clorox wipes and lysol spray . The pillow cases had visible dried blood on them , so we bought new pillows as well. We will not be staying again, simple vacuum, wiping and laundering of basic needs would be a start. The Health department should be notified. read more

I never write Yelp reviews but I feel I need to on this for whoever may be reading. I showed up 4:30am March 15 on a motorcycle freezing my face off. As soon as I got off my bike to ask for a room the owner was already there in my face threatening to call the cops. I then put my hands in the air and said whoa sir I would just like to see if a room is available and all he said was no and kept threatening to call police. I took of my helmet completely (thinking this would put him at more ease) and he ran inside and called the cops on me. I would never stay in this place. I would never support a business like this. This is a family friendly ski town and this owner is an absolute prick. For your own sake don't even consider this place an option. Pay more somewhere else for cleanliness and at least a chance of hospitality. If I could give no stars I would. read more

If I could, I would give this s*** hole 0 stars. The costumer service is horrible. I wasn't ever told when checkout was and in the morning I got a rude awakening to one of the employees saying that if I wasn't out in 5 minuets, they would call the police. Our room was falling apart. The walls are paper thin. Overall, very unhappy with my stay. If this is the only room you can find in the city, you're probably better off sleeping in your car. read more

This place was terrible. We stayed here for $50 we should have paid about 30. It was a dump the bathroom floor was coming apart. I don't think the sheets were washed and and the pillows were lumpy and small. This is one of the worse hotels I've stayed at, I've stayed at nicer hotels in third world countries and paid less. If the price wasn't so cheap then I would give this place zero stars, if I could. However, I was on a budget so I picked the cheapest place. My room was very small, basically just a bed, dresser, and small bathroom. But that wasn't the problem, I didn't mind a small cheap room. The problem was how dirty it was and how old the furniture was. There was a creepy old chair, broken dresser, and an old old TV. The bathroom door was coming off the wall, and the bathroom literally felt like it was sinking down. The shower curtain was gross and smelly, and I was nervous to put anything down on the sink. They provided us with one roll of toilet paper, and the carpet in the room was all ripped up in the corners. On my last day there, I looked around the bed to see if I was forgetting anything, and there was mold in the corner and garbage under the bed. Very gross. I complained to the manager or owner and she didn't say much besides "oh sorry." I wasn't too happy. I obviously still enjoyed my time, and I would have enjoyed my stay at this place if it was clean. read more

I hesitate to write this review and admit I've stayed here despite reading previous comments. I assumed that if the stories I've heard were true, than the health department would have shut it down. I was wrong. This is the most run down, filthy, dangerous place I've ever stayed in. Old food bits, sticky candy, and what I hope we're old raisins we're all over the carpet, pubic hair and old towels in the tub, an old sock covered in cobwebs in the corner, a toilet that flushed randomly every 20-40 min all night, the same guy making 20+ trips up and down stairs (not appearing to carry anything) and meeting random cars between midnight and 3am, no light in the room (had to use bathroom light), carpet peeled up in corners, dirty bedsheets, and I was afraid to look under the bed. Don't do it. Just don't. Sleeping in your car until I70 opens is better and safer. read more

the most disgusting motel ever built.....well maybe not when it was first built but it sure is now. We arrived to check in and we found mud on the sheets, dirt on the blankets AND pubic hair all throughout the bathroom. Not a vacuum in sight and dirt everywhere. We called the front desk to ask for help and we were told that this is an "older motel" so don't expect the best. We said are you kidding us? Old yes but can't you clean it? They came reluctantly and did a decent job. We thanked them and decided to immediately move to a hotel down the street after our dog found a needle on the floor under the bed. We think we saw blood stains on the ceiling......looked like smeared blood from a hand. Oh and we heard people checking the doors while we were there as if the hope was an open door with nobody in it. No thanks......NEVER STAY HERE UNLESS YOU ARE STUCK. read more

This was the worst motel I have ever seen. I can't even believe that this place is allowed to stay open. The floors weren't vacuumed, the bathtub was not cleaned, and the toilet was not even wiped down. Absolutely disgusting place and I would never recommend it to anyone. We booked online and when we get there, the front desk lady was rude and very unprofessional. She told us the room was overbooked so she does not have the room anymore. Throughout the whole process, she was very impatient and never apologized for the overbooking situation. She even asked for the ID of every single person in my family, which never happened in all other hotels/inn ever. I suggest do not go to this hotel, customers deserve to be treated better. If I could give this hotel a negative star, I would, one star is too nice. By the way, online it says the rooms were air conditioned, but when we get there, it says all the rooms have no air condition. read more

Somewhere a thrid world country is missing it's slum. Got caught in a blizzard & had no choice but to stay here. Unidentifiable stains on, well everything, no towels or wash cloths, trim falling off the wall, exhaust fan in bathroom had no switch to turn it on, door would pop open if bumped with your hand, window would not lock. Glad I travel with a gun. Didn't have the guts to sleep in the bed, just threw my sleeping bag on top & washed it when I got home. If it hadn't been -10 degrees I would have slept in my car (no joke). read more

This is without a doubt the single most disgusting place in the USA I have ever stayed in. A small room I can handle but the complete lack of anything remotely clean I cannot. The lumpy bed was very old and dirty. I could not even use the bathroom it was so visibly filthy. Mold and others hair and grunge is not my allowable acceptance. My husband tried to placate me by saying pretend we are camping. I love to camp and my tent and sleeping bag are clean! Really and truly do not stay here. It is just gross and there is no pride in the place whatsoever. Outside each room are overflowing ashtrays of cigarettes and booze bottles. Our room reeked of stale cigar smoke. This place is straight up disgusting. Really. The most disgusting dump of a place I've ever seen. It's bad enough when a place is old and run down, but I can deal with that if it's CLEAN. This place was FILTHY. Corners of rooms and baseboards looked like they had never been cleaned, there was ice and dirt around the windows, the toilets hadn't been wiped down from prior people, nor had sink..spatter marks on mirrors from toothpaste, pubic hairs on toilet, filth in the tub EVERYwhere, mold, mildew, you name it. Stained towels and sheets, just really gross to the point you don't want to touch ANYthing. We thank god had sleeping bags to sleep in and it was like sleeping in a hazmat zone. Never splitting 'cheap hotel' with best ski buddy again on the fly and throwing caution to the wind. This place is proof you get what you pay for!! I wish I had the chance to review this place before I stopped and wasted my time. First they wanted an ID for everybody, I balked and gave in after realizing we had just driven 100 miles and found nothing for under $150. Then they took a copy of my credit card as I read the pages of "fines" for, smoking, losing a key, having a pet or stealing a towel, using the toilet paper or (leftover) soap etc. I was told "these are house rules and if they don't work for me, the hotel will not work for me." (Creepy looking guy that popped out from behind the office door.) Who in their right mind leaves a copy of a credit card with ANYBODY these days??? I assume that he was the owner and had an axe to grind with anybody that asked about the so-called house rules. Given the fact that they had the only affordable rooms within 50 miles, the office was deplorable and the owner/manager reminded me of Herman Munster with an attitude, I told them to shove it after retrieving the copies of my CC and IDs There was a reason he had the only available rooms. I found out later that the place has a Trump rating as a 5 star S^^^hole. Too many blatant clues that screamed "ripoff." But I must be honest about 1 thing: for accuracy, take away that 1 "star" above. read more

Worst hotel ever!!! The first room they put us in had cigarette butts in the trash can. We went and asked for a non smoking room and were told all the rooms were non smoking. The next room they put us in was not cleaned either. There was a used band aid on the floor!!!!! Other pieces of trash. They clearly don't clean. I can only assume there idea of cleaning is to change the sheets. (The sheets were clean) There was a stain on the ceiling that looked like it had been there a while. The worst part was the bathroom. Someone had shaved and their hair was all over the sink. The bathtub was not cleaned. There was an open bar of soap. No unopened soap in the entire bathroom. also a left over half used tube of conditioner. The room smelled!!! We actually went and bought an air freshener!! The stairs had a lot snow on them so you had to walk thru snow to get up to the room. It had not snowed in two days!!! Also the staff was having some kind of internal fight, but that was just funny!!!Someone call Hotel Impossible!!!!! If I could give this business NO stars I would. First of all, we travel a lot for business so we have stayed at numerous establishments. This hotel was by far the worst. I had booked a room for my foreman and helper while they were working up in Silverthorne and gave the hotel both of their names. I told the front desk person, Ange, that they would be checking in late. At about 8:30PM I got an email from her asking when they would be there as, according to her email "sleep is not far off." I told her that they had just pulled in. My foreman checked in and Ange was sitting there at the front desk with a huge plate of spaghetti and eating. Although not a deal breaker it is definitely unprofessional. Furthermore, she asked to see the ID of my other worker who was outside with the tools because she told my foreman "I want to make sure he is not under age and you are not a pedophile or something." REALLY?!? Who does that?!? When they checked the room, it was nasty and run down. My foreman said it looked like they attempted to clean it and the towels were dirty. They both slept on top of the sheets. Stay away from this place!!! read more
