Nice resting hotel to get a good night sleep in between skiing at the resorts. Nothing fancy but clean well kept facilities with a decent breakfast in the morning to get you going. They had oatmeal, french toast sticks, eggs, sausage, orange juice and coffee. The beds were comfy and the rooms are very spacious. The showers had nice pressure and hot water. We also made use of the hot tub but it was super hot so we didn't stay in too long. We stayed in prime ski day so it was more expensive than their normal pricing but that's expected. The location was perfect for an overnight on our drive to Moab, Utah from Denver. It is located off I-70 next to shopping and restaurants area. After checking in, our party of four walked to the shops and restaurants under perfect weather. Our room was recently remodeled. The carpet and furniture were in good shape. Mattresses were too soft for my taste, but were fine for the rest of the party. In room refrigerator was working fine and the free wifi was strong. Free breakfast was the Hampton usual, not bad. It's all about location!! I paid around $500 in September for two nights as I had a concert at The Dillion. This hotel is at the perfect location! Walking distance from the Ampitheater, outlet mall, and so many food places. We checked in around 7:00pm and John was working the front. He was super helpful and knowledgeable. The free breakfast is what you would expect. Nothing fancy but you can definitely find something for everyone. The rooms were a little outdated but did the trick! The only reason I took off one star was because of the pool and hot tub. It was indoors super humid and honestly seemed a little gross. So, we passed on partaking in that. I've stayed here a number of times over the years and did so again a few days ago. It's a standard Hampton with everything you'd expect in terms of content and quality. It is in a great area though, being close to food, shopping outlets, Lake Dillon/amphitheater/park/dam...and just a few minutes away from Breckenridge. The staff has always been great and I've never had any issues at the pool or fitness center. They even have beer in the shop on-site and within walking distance is a brewery, pho, Mexican, and empanadas. My only complaint is the parking situation being tight, but it's been like this as long as I've known. This is also the first time I didn't see any M-plates in the back parking lot, which was interesting. read more

Well located hotel, but with substandard service. I booked a two-night stay. At the end of the first day, I was disappointed to see that my room had not been made up. When I brought it to the attention of the manager on duty, I learned that it is hotel policy to make up rooms only on alternate days, unless a customer requests additional cleaning. I told the manager that, had I been informed of this upon check-in, I would have made such a request. The manager indicated that alternate day room cleaning is now the industry standard. This was news to me and, I suspect, to many. In my opinion, when one pays $150 per night for a two-night stay, a room clearning should be standard. At the very least, inform guests of the policy upon check-in! As a side-note, there were no fresh towels at the pool at 4:30pm, normally a high-usage time when ample towels should be provided. All in all, a decent property, but poorly managed. read more

Enjoyed our stay. Came up with my husband for our 13th anniversary. Has a good location next to multiple restaurants and also outdoor rental place. That was definitely a bonus. Our room was clean and nice. We didn't see the staff really. My husband has diamond status and is able to check in on his phone verses with a person. Breakfast was a grab and go. Not sure what was available. We got down a little past when it was there. They had it available at front desk from 6-9 am. There was some left over bananas so grabbed one as we walked by on our way out. read more

Place is clean and for the most part staff friendly. The free breakfast is not great but hey, it's free. Better options within walking distance if you are willing to,spend a little. Beds are a little rough on you but as with any hotel after a few nights your body adjusts. Another con is that there are no microwaves in the rooms, you'll have to use the community appliance in the lobby. Workout facility has all,you need, they also have an indoor pool and hot tub. Hotel has a pretty good view of the mountains as well. Overall it checks all the boxes for a low cost budget hotel, and over achieves on the cleanliness level and updated design. I'd ignore the poor reviews from broke ass people who think that $100- $200 will get them a st. Regis experience, this is a good value. read more

When you have things not working in your room, or ask for something they want to say "we don't have anything available ". When you spend close to 2000.00 on a room you expect better service than what these assholes are willing to give. Why on earth would there not be an evening manager? Putting some random asshat in charge who wants to be a dick is not the best choice when it comes to customer. We will never return to this place! Update: 3/11 Spoke to Becky-manager today. This was the stay in 2019 that put me into Diamond status -I mentioned that to the front desk lady and she upgraded us into a corner suite and made sure it was special. The location is wonderful and the rooms are always clean and what you expect. Plenty of parking as well. I have nothing bad to say about this property. See you again soon! read more

Stayed for two nights a week ago. Hotel was nice. Staff was very courteous. Room was very clean. AC worked great. My biggest complaint was the breakfast. Not very many healthy options. Our first Morning they ran out of oatmeal by 7:30am. We talked to a staff member and he said they were not going to make any more. The next morning they had some oatmeal but it was not very good. Very clumpy. Hard in places. Both mornings no scrambles eggs for those people who are trying to eat healthier than having waffles or biscuits and gravy. What makes this stay tough is we paid an extra $100 a night compared to staying at a La Quinta a couple of blocks away. What makes this stay frustrating is we stayed at a La Quinta on this road two different times. Both times it was cheaper and came with a better breakfast. read more

We stay at Hampton Inns frequently, but this one was a shade lower on the quality list. For starters they need a sign that makes the driveway to pull into the hotel. It's tucked in a cramped mall area without clear signage. When we checked in and learned both the digital key and the key card machines were down and it was recommended that we not loose our key because of the time it would take to make new ones. One of the elevators was also down. Our room was clean and warm, as well as quiet. I think this would be a great place to stay if they'd fix all the issues. read more

after a treacherous attempt at passing the mountain on a terribly snowy and windy night, we had to turn around to find shelter for us and our cats. we stumbled upon this hotel which was a God send and Josh (or maybe john?) and the front desk with long hair was a beacon of hope on the most terrible night of my life. he offered us some water, knowledgable advice, showed us the travel website c.dot and gave us the encouragement to continue our journey in the morning when we felt like giving up. give this man a raise and a new truck. also, hotel was clean and breakfast was good. would definitely stay there again. thanks john/josh we luv u read more

I just had the worst hotel stay ever at Hampton Inn - and I have stayed with hundreds of hotels in the US and in Europe. In short, my Moncler puffer jacket that costs more than two thousand dollars was STOLEN! I stayed here last weekend for a skiing trip, and when I checked out, I left my jacket in the wardrobe (doors closed). Only a few hours later, I noticed that the jacket was missing, and started calling the hotel immediately. The woman answering the call gave me the most ridiculous answer ever - that she didn't have the key for lost and found, and that the person who has the key already left for the day. I know that hotels could be understaffed during COVID times, but it was only 3/4pm when I called, not midnight! I pressured the receptionist to contact anyone who has the key, and 30 minutes later, she called back and told me that my jacket did not show up in lost and found. Since she only mentioned that she looked in lost and found, I asked if the hotel could send someone to the room again to double check the wardrobe. This time, the receptionist refused my request and claimed that the housekeepers would have cleaned/searched the room thoroughly, and that new guests already checked in to the room. I asked a few times for hotel staff to double check the wardrobe but my request was declined. Very dismayed, I was told to call the manger the next day when she comes in. And of course the next morning, I heard the same answer from the manager - they looked everywhere but could not find my jacket. I have never had anything stolen from a hotel stay before - and I have stayed at hundreds of hotels in the US and in Europe, in higher end hotels and in lower end ones, but nothing was stolen ever! I have left iPad, laptop, sunglasses behind me on various occasions and they were all turned in to me. This incident at Hampton Inn Silverthrone is totally unacceptable, especially since I am a Hilton Honor diamond member (if that actually means anything??) It's been a couple of days since the theft and there was no information, nor did anyone follow up with me on my jacket as they promised before. Had the female receptionist actually checked the room before someone else checked in instead of just refusing my request, or had the manager asked the housekeepers that day instead of just telling me that "my girls don't steal", my jacket could have been found. But none of these prompt actions were taken, and no one followed up with me on this incident, even though I was promised to hear back soon. The hotel staff were dismissive of my situation from the very beginning, and no one showed sympathy or apology during this entire frustrating time! This Moncler jacket was gifted by my mom and it costs more than two thousand dollars. Needless to say how disappointed and angry I am with the hotel stay. I would give negative stars for the hotel if the system would allow me. I suggest everyone considering this hotel to stay away - they have dishonest staff they would take your precious belongings. read more

Avoid this hotel at all costs - mistakenly booked the wrong night, manager refused to call me after the front desk staff (all very nice) assured me she would follow up. Insult to injury, they did rebook me but jacked up the price by over $100. I am a 20+ year Hilton Honor member, will avoid this property at all costs! read more

This one was extremely clean and the staff was wonderful. Super sweet and kind staff. Hampton's are my go to whenever I travel (mostly because of the delicious breakfast and housekeeping). So this is where my rating of a 3 comes Into play. These times are tough and I realize that especially with the restrictions due to Covid. However, I feel that being charged a full, normal night isn't quite fair. We had No housekeeping, no hot breakfast (We did receive a nutrigrain bar, fruit and water for breakfast) and the pool was empty. I wish they would've given a discount of some kind due to the lack of amenities. Just my personal opinion. I have nothing bad to say about the cleanliness or staff. If these restrictions continue, it may go a long way to offer at least 5-10% off your total. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up about these restrictions. Don't get me wrong, you get what you pay for in life, but when you pay top dollar during high season for a 2 star hotel you shouldn't have to be called names and be treated like you are worth nothing. I am a Hilton Honors member and I "was" a very loyal one, after the GM Vivian Shaw decided she was going to verbally attack my wife after a horrible stay that we paid 1300$ for a 3 night stay, I will never stay at another Hilton property again in my life. In town for business, Diamond club member here, reserved a room with a mountain view, got parking lot view, when I called front desk from room phone no one answered, called back from cell, no one answered, called again... Finally an answer! Was told maybe my room was given away, it may have been avail though when I booked... WHAT???? Offered to try and find a mountain view for last two nights... I always stayed at the Double Tree in Breck, thought I would give this place a shot since its a "brand new" hotel... Kicking myself as I type this 2 star review... 2 stars for clean bathroom and open diamond parking spot. I travel across America and use hotels.com. For the first time in the last 10 years I have had the worst experience at any Hampton. My friends and I purchased beer from the front desk. After our first beer we put the wrest in our room so we could go and get some dinner. We shut down the restaurant (9pm) and went back to our hotel to sink our beer we bought at the lobby dinner/lunch area. BOB the night clerk was a dick! He pulled up a chair to watch tv and then looked at us and told us we had to leave. We asked why we needed leave and he said said we were breaking the rules. We asked to please explain them. Bob left and went back to his desk and called cops on us. The police came, question us and let us resume our night. Been to allot of hotels, bob was a dick. Tried making us leave. We held our ground, then called the cops on us and they told bob to we were in the right. Bottom line, I would not stay here. read more

We literally only booked this hotel so our kids could swim. Called before we booked to make sure the pool was open and heated. Yep, great. Booked. Called again a few days before we arrived to make sure it was still open (covid), they assured us it was. NEITHER phone call did they mention you had to make reservations to USE the pool. I live in Summit County and had my mom and brother come visit from Minnesota, my mother is a Hilton Honors member and requested a room with 2 queen beds. We walk in to find a king bed with a pullout... We walked all the way back to the office to have the desk attendant inform us that the Hampton was overbooked so they are trying to accommodate to the best of their ability. Why would a hotel overbook the amount of rooms and type of rooms they have? Sounds like a recipe for angry tourists. This is extremely frustrating for me because apart from the room being clean (only positive thing I'll say) my 23 year old brother is now going to be sleeping on a pullout couch for 3 nights while on vacation... that is not what he signed up for.. and this is not the vacation he signed up to have. Very, VERY displeased this is the start to their visit. Not to mention: Apart from being able to hear EVERYONE walking around starting at 6 am, the toilet paper holder isn't round like EVERY OTHER toilet roll holder I've EVER seen, it's half a circle. So, middle of the night when you need to pee, you are waking everyone else in the room up because of the toilet roll. read more

I've been a Hampton Inn fan for many years along with long time honors member. Stayed at plenty all over the country and have almost always had a good experience. Clean, accommodating, and comfortable each time. This was not exactly the the case here. Everyone was friendly and the place was clean. It's a newer location as well. Room was nicely appointed how every his was the most uncomfortable bed I've ever had at a Hampton. Almost like sleeping on the floor. Then I realized my worst hotel fear in the morning. Poor water pressure in the shower is a nail in coffin for me. And to top it off, no hot water half way through shower. Monday morning at 8am maybe prime time for water usage, but there is no excuse for it. Again, staff was very nice and accommodating but if you can't sleep well or take a hot shower in Summit County in winter, we won't stay next time. read more

Trouble from minute 1. Night clerk could not figure out how to get computers running once he let me in front door. Would not honor my hhonor status with welcome drink/snack, etc. because he couldn't get computers up. Put me in "upgraded" room that was not a premium room as booked that was supposed to have drinks and snacks waiting. Messaged front desk through app with no response, although showed delivered. Messaged again next day with no response. Went to front desk inquiring about amenities, where they said I was "upgraded." Nothing special about my room except I could see the dam wall and the road. My premium room included drinks and snacks that were to be refreshed daily. Front desk told me my upgraded room was not premium any longer, so no one on staff could brink the drinks/snacks to that style room. What?!?!? Instead, they gave me 2 bottles of water and said they would keep me hydrated anytime I stopped by and asked for a bottle. Two days later, I get a text asking to rate my stay. I give a 6/10. The person wants to know what's wrong. I tell them I am disappointed with the way they handled my reserved room and that the ac/heat is broken. I was told maintenance would address the unit. I was also told that they believe the Hilton app malfunctioned when I booked my room in December and I never should have been able to book the premium room at the rate reserved (just looked and it is available next week again for $10 more). Maintenance never fixed my heat/air and I guess the room is my fault... Glad to be leaving tomorrow with NO resolve to ANY of the issues after 4 days. Not the service I am accustomed to with Hilton, or even this particular hotel as I have stayed here many times with no issues or condescending millennial educating me on Hilton app failures. read more

Great place to stay when we ski out in copper! Resort pieces can get $$! This is more expensive than most hamptons we stay at attributed to location BUT we got great service our entire stay and the location was perfect. We were able to drive no more than 15 minutes to copper, and we were down the road from Keystone. Rooms were clean and had a nice mini fridge and area for snacks. Breakfast had d a good mixture of hot and cold but can get chaotic with the volume of people getting food and the staff the ruling to replenish quickly. Coffee and hot cocoa available all day in the lobby was a plus, community microwave also available in the lobby. Our room was clean and well lit but the walls were a little thin, Bathroom had great water pressure and was wiped down daily. Apple cider was available are the end of the day which was nice after a day out on the lifts. Close to great eats, a target, and other staples. Parking can get tight at night but we always found a spot! read more

Was in town for two nights and this was perfect for it. Arrived around 2pm and though we couldn't get our room they stored our luggage for us. Had two rooms with nice views. Location is very walkable to a dispensary, the Dillion Dam Brewery a few other restaurants and nice little stream that's nice to standby and enjoy nature. There is no bar at night but they have some drinks at the front desk. Breakfast is what you would expect at a place like this, but that's good with me! Only bad thing I had to say is the men's restroom in the lobby did not have toilet paper the entire first day I was there. Also Travis at the front desk was awesome and very helpful! I have to say I've never been treated as badly, customer service wise, as at this hotel. We usually do not stay at Hampton Inns, but thought we'd try one, the lights were out we we arrived at 6:30pm and we couldn't check in, so they took our number and said they would call, it was getting late and we hadn't heard so we came back and the lights were on. I asked why we weren't called, we'd been traveling and we're very tired and it was late, the manager snapped at me and walked off. If it wasn't so late, I would have cancelled our reservation! I will never stay at another Hilton Brand Hotel, this rude, mean reaction was not warranted. I understand it was not their fault the power was out, but the entire situation could have been handled in a more friendly and positive manner. We were the ones put out by the situation and for a room we couldn't get until almost 8pm. The room was okay, the shower was broke and the chairs and carpets had some stains, but the service was the worst I've ever had! read more
