Their were no crowds because the Mall doesn't have an Anchor Store. The mall during the year plays music from the 1950's! Who are they trying to attract, 80 year olds? I was hopeful the New Management that took over this year would make a difference. They have not. I hope these reviews inspired the City to take action to better revitalize this wonderful space. Some positive things are the Wonderful SIMI VALLEY FILM FESTIVAL that was held here! I Highly recommend it!! I also admire and appreciate The Veterans Museum here that is Fantastic! Plus you can leave your car overnight. This train station is service by both Amtrack and the Metrolink. The station is quite simple but super clean. The station does not offer a building for shelter or a bathroom. The station does provide for some limited covering areas and seats. There is a metrolink kiosk but not an amtrak kiosk available at the platform. Amtrak tickets can be purchased online through their website or on their app. Metrolink tickets can also be purchased online. Enjoy your ride!

There is plenty of parking and there are a several covered areas to sit by the tracks. There is a large passenger drop off/pick up area in front of the station. It is always kept very clean and at night, it is well lit. This is a great place to catch the Metrolink or have friends/family come in on the train. The train is such a convenient resource that is greatly underused!

Still love their landscaping and water features. So many shopping centers these days seem to cheap out on design / décor items, so I like to celebrate those that keep it visually interesting. Due to the late / prolonged Spring season, there are scads of brightly blooming trumpet vines all over the accent columns along the perimeter of the property. They are visible to passers by on Tapo Canyon Road and Alamo Street. Though it was on the cool side, with the center's landscaping, it was very pleasant to sit outside to enjoy our pizza at The Slice House last night as the sun was slowly sinking in the west. I could hear one of the water features splashing away nearby, which added to the peace of the moment. I'm a fan of visiting the businesses in this plaza due to the attention to its design and landscaping/hardscaping décor.

If you can, try to use the self-kiosk if you just need to mail something or get stamps-- you will save yourself a lot of time. Remember if you are mail a package-- make sure you bring your own tape or tape it up in advance. The post office no longer provides tape. Also bring a pen with you in case you need one.
