I cannot recommend E-bike Multnomah Falls more highly as Brian was a freakin pleasure to deal with. I drove down from cougar & took the scenic route so I didn't show up a full 20 mins early requested but that didn't seem to matter. Brian shook my hand introduced himself & then began the important stuff regarding safety, operation, & route suggestions. Since I had the bike all day he told me to call him on my way back from the waterfall route when I get close & he would swap me out a fresh battery so I can explore the trail going towards Bonneville dam & Cascade Locks. He was waiting by the rode & had me zipping along no time wasted. He told me the best thing to see was the Bonneville fish hatchery & he was not wrong. Such a cool stop on the trail & well worth the time. I had time to make it to cascade locks grab a beer at thunder head then book it back at full speed & get the bike back to him 30 mins earlier than drop off at 5. This was an amazing way to see the area & kept leapfrogging people on the waterfall trolleys & many asked me about the bike rental so I was happy to refer them. It really is an unparalleled adventure if you like to bike. 43 miles the day after I summited Mount Saint Helens & the e bike made it feel like I did a 1/4 of that manually at most.

Chad returned are call within a few minutes and hooked us up with a hybrid for me and E-bike for my girlfriend, locks, helmets, water and a map. I got to sample a nice (but fairly…read moresmall) network of intertwined trails in this fairly small park (or, ah, natural area), none of them flat, which I totally appreciated for their winding character and shifting terrain. Most are moderate to easy single tracks through wooded areas, but there are some tricky spots, which can get sloppy after rains, but kudos to the volunteers who hacked these paths through a narrow and sometimes steep canyon. You'll get little sun, and lotsa shade, (and sorta sketchy parking), but the trails are decently maintained. Just be aware - they're not flat or paved.

This park is integrated right into the neighborhood. There is no parking lot, but rather a couple…read moreof dead-end streets that turn into trails. The trails weave their way through the park, down to the creek, and back up to another entry dead end street. It's fairly charming with lots of native plants, wood bridges, and staircases. Looks like someone regularly makes flower art on a particular storm drain - cute. Signposts at trail intersections provide info, but there's no trail map which would be useful. Probably about 2 miles of trails total, some are steep uphill but otherwise it's fairly easy. Dogs allowed on leash. (I saw a number of owners who were not following this rule but didn't have any issues.)
