One of the springs broke on my 7 foot double garage door. I had this happen 10 or 15 years ago so I knew I did not want to do it myself. I asked my neighbor for a recommendation. He had used 2 other companies. Their reviews were not all positive. Let's face it, if they have a few bad ones that can be a tell. Called Tamir at noon and he said they could be there around 1:30 or 2pm. Price was $255 for both springs. They will replace just one but these should be replaced in pairs. David called around 1:30 and said he was running late. No problem, service call times are not an exact science. David arrived around 3, I think, and was very courteous and worked very fast, I mean this guy was speedy but efficient. He was done in 45 minutes.He joked about me watching what he did so I could do it myself next time. I hope it was a joke because this is not a job I would do myself. David also adjusted the garage door opener to take the slack out of the chain. (I actually did install this myself years ago). I would definitely recommend this company and use them again. read more

This is how companies need to do business. When a spring gave way on my Garage Door, my first instinct was to call one of the well-known companies like Broton. After reviewing ratings on YELP, one company stood out above the rest, FL Garage Door Depot. I spoke with a gentlemen (assume was the owner) who was friendly and knowledgeable. He provided a quote over the phone and said he can have a tech over in 20 mins. "David" showed up in 20 mins and immediately went to work. He replaced both springs in short order, checked all functions of the door and even adjusted my Garage Door Opener. Although my garage door, door mechanisms and Garage Door opener are all 25 years old, overall everything was in working order. He recommended some services but at no means any pressure sales tactics. I told him in the future I would be replacing my garage door opener and a Hurricane Rated Door. I would definitely recommend this company and will definitely use them when I 'm ready to install my new door. read more

The spring on my garage door broke so I looked on Yelp since this isn't a service I use on a regular basis. The first place I called I got voice mail and the voice mail system said the mailbox was full. I thought tap hat cannot be good. The next number I called was FL Garage Door Depot and they answered the phone at 7pm. I explained that my garage door spring broke and asked if they can come out and fix it. The response was: I can be there at 8:30. I said tonight? Yes, no extra charge. These guys were friendly, very knowledgable and replace the old rusted springs with new ones in 20 minutes, amazing. They even made some adjustments at no additional charge so that the door closed more smoothly. I high recommend and I'm having them come back and work on some issues with another garage door at another house I own. read more

I Definitely recommend FL Garage Door Depot! I went to Yelp when I needed a garage door repair service, and saw the stars and favorable review this contractor had so I called him. I am soooo glad I did!! Tamir is the owner and provided great customer service. He showed up when he said he would. He was knowledgeable. And when I asked about other service to my garage door opener (such as how to make it quieter) he was informative and NOT out to try to get more business that I did not need. He is concerned about his customers getting the service they need and not over pricing or giving them something they do not need. What a delightful experience! I've called Tamir in the morning, and by 3:00 he and another technician were at my house as promised. He adjusted the door, which was not closing, did his magic, and in less then 30 minutes everything was perfect. Like new! No more annoying noises, no more glitches, no more problems. He also showed me how to change the code on the garage opener, replaced the battery for me, and taught me how to maintain the system. All for a very, very reasonable price. But this was not all! I was very pleased with the quality of service I received from FL Garage Door Depot. Tamir arrived at my home at our agreed upon time. He replaced two broken garage door springs some frayed tension wires and adjusted my door. He went out of his way to explain to me in great detail what he had done and how to best maintain the door in the future. It was very important to him that I appreciated the quality of his service. His price was more than fair. He accomplished in about an hour what would have probably taken me all day. I recently had one of my spring break on my garage door, off course it was 7:30 am. I call several companies but nobody answered even though it was after 8 am. I call Fl. Garage Door Depot Inc. and they answered and were in my house within 30 minutes. Mr. Tamir was very knowledgeable and also found one off my cables was frayed and would break down they line he also replaced it. . A few days later I had problem with my garage door drive motor. He replaced my worn rollers and even moved one of my guide rails out almost and inch which now makes my garage door operate almost silently. I was having issues with a newly installed garage door opener (installed by a local handyman). David, my technician, arrived early. He began his service by first inspecting my garage door for issues. Our garage broke on a late Sunday afternoon. It was so nice that the owner picked up and takes calls personally and we didn't go to a voicemail box! Excellent Service!!! Highly recommend! Tamir was at our house within 30 min after calling him. He did what he could and had David come out to install a new opener. From start to finish it was done in 2hours! All rollers for 2 doors were replaced and a new opener and seal at the bottom of the door.
