Highly recommended! Everything from making the appointment to getting answers from the technician to all my questions was part of an outstanding customer service experience. One of the two springs used by our opener had broken. I received notice of the arrival of the tech and was able to track his approach on my phone to be ready when he arrived. He was very professional, explained everything, recommended changing both springs, but without any pressure. I decided to do it and have peace of mind that the opener will operate trouble free for a good while. Gentleman showed up 1.5 hours later than estimated. I wasn't really that concerned - it's not like I could go anywhere and I didn't have any place to be. When he arrived we had a minor language issue - he only understood a certain amount of English. Hey - it's South Florida; what are you gonna do? As far as I can tell he did a great job. The phone dispatcher told me they would charge $19 for delivering the estimate and they'd knock the $19 off of the fee. Charge for broken spring: $155. Labor $130. It took about 20 mins to swap it out and the receipt reflects no discount for the delivery fee. What the heck $19 against a $304.85 install is really no big deal. I thought about asking, but given that he didn't see to understand some of what I said, it seemed like more trouble than the $19 (or my dignity) was worth. If I were to need this service again I'd probably get the labor rate beforehand; $260/hr seems a little excessive. I honestly don't know if that's the going rate or not. If it's the going rate then it's a fantastic job, except for not showing up on time or calling me to tell me he was going to be 90 minutes late. If it's an excessive charge, then I'd try a little harder to get a better price if you have the luxury. It was still a good job, just pricier than I expected and delivered well after it was promised. read more

My garage door spring snapped this morning so I called out to a few companies. Master lift sent their technician Vinnie who was very prompt to arrive and very polite and professional. The initial quote was a bit high but they worked with me and gave me a great price. As for the installation, Vinnie ran into a little problem, had to leave and said he would be back in an hour to get the right parts. In my past experience, that meant they would come back the next day. Not the case as Vinnie was back in less than an hour, replaced the proper springs and my garage door is now quieter than it was before the repair! Thank you Master lift and Vinnie for an awesome job!
