We are in a new city and the finds are very great. We happened upon this unique vintage store. They sell local items and craft creations for sale. It's an all in one type of shop. The staff are very helpful. The store is a small space and parking is on the street . What a cool name too! Come and get your vintage on . And I had found that it once again expanded even more within the giant warehouse it occupies. It is quite easy to get lost in the maze of booths, but you're guaranteed a lot to look at along the way. Fleur de Flea is as much of an experience as it is a shopping spot. There are several midcentury modern furniture booths, as well as others selling all manner of art, jewelry, books, clothes, records, plants and more. On my most recent visit, I came away with a book of the script of a show I really love and a fun T-shirt. Fleur de Flea also sells cocktails and other drinks if you'd like to sip while you shop, and it's very pet friendly. You're likely to see a pup shopping alongside its owner, and Fleur de Flea's resident doggo can be found sitting on the counter by the cash registers. This is a spot that is becoming uniquely Louisville for me. I love it so!

The second teacher DID teach me on an OLD and out-of-tune piano in a small cubby room. I need to write a review since no one else has. Please save yourself the time and money. While the people are as nice as can be , the shop is just a mess with their music staff. I had two teachers over a couple of months. The first guy was a distracted musician who was supplementing his income. He wasn't taking this job because he wanted to teach , but as a way to make money. He was always bailing out on the time and he never answered his phone messages or texts. I decided to go with another guy. The room was small and cramped with a crappy out of tune piano. I know he was nice , but I'm not sure he knew enough to teach. The out of tune piano was the last straw. What kind of a music store doesn't care enough to tune their pianos. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I signed up for lessons at the fair for $10. That $10 was supposed to pay for 6 one hour class…read moresessions along with 6 half hour private lessons, as well as a loaner organ to take home. But Alan was able to get an extension on the classes for an additional 4 weeks. No where have I ever gotten this much service for $10. The owners make you feel like family and let your learn at your own pace. This place is a gem and I would gladly refer everyone to try it out. I've now graduated from my beginning class and have a new found love for music. Thank you.

They will gladly talk with you about setting up a high quality instrument rental and also have a number of professional and pre-professional level violins and violas for sale. All that being said, their specialty is actually instrument repair! They will rehair your bow or fix any minor or major problem with your bowed string instrument. I will continue to use them for all of my repair needs and if you haven't already, come check out this store!

Took it again to get refunded and they redid it for free but it still did'nt look right. Well be going someplace else know that we know. They also gave us a bow with someone else's name on the tag, pretty sure its just a misprint. It just adds to the confusion and they shouldn't get that wrong.
