    I am writing to formally complain about my recent experience with an online purchase from…read moreBestBuy.com and the handling of the issue at one of your retail locations. I recently purchased an item through BestBuy.com. After multiple delivery delays, the item finally arrived; however, it was covered in mud inside the box, indicating that it was damaged or mishandled prior to delivery. Due to the condition of the item, I contacted customer service and was instructed to return it to a local Best Buy store. When I arrived at the store, the Store Manager, refused to accept the return. While I was on the phone with a Best Buy customer service representative, the manager told the representative that he had the right to refuse any return, despite the item arriving in an unacceptable condition and despite following instructions provided by Best Buy's own customer service. When I stated that I would not leave until the issue was resolved, I was informed that mall security would be called. This response was unnecessary, unprofessional, and deeply upsetting, especially given that I was simply attempting to return a defective item in accordance with Best Buy's guidance.

Best Buy admitted that it was their mistake and that the pack said "Activation failed" yet they still sent them. Now they will not make things right unless we drive 40 miles to the closest Best Buy store for a refund. Never again Best Buy.
