Beautiful area to walk around and enjoy the scenery. Small boutique stores, unique coffee and wine shops and a variety of restaurants. There's even a Wine train tour offered here. Cool shopping and food outlets abound.

This three-block neighborhood is Napa's outdoor eating, shopping and people watching center. Hotels are here, tasting rooms are here, restaurants are here. It's a typical mixed-use development and it's pretty slick. If you're looking to #EatLocal and #ShopLocal, you won't find more authentic Napa than here. I was through this plaza a couple of times in the course of my week-long visit to Napa and enjoyed it quite a lot. In the evening, the area is nicely lit and I felt safe enough with quite a few people around and a friendly vibe. Parking on the street can be a challenge, but you'll find the Pearl Street Garage https://www.yelp.com/biz/pearl-street-garage-napa?hrid=S3RLLIbcy2ILFMEcmvHE0w right around the corner. Wonderful place to enjoy a nice meal. Deuces is awesome and same with kitchen door. The newly opened Hestan is also delicious.

Quality/Quantity - Decent size local plaza. A few major anchors - Whole Foods, Trader Joe, Target,…read moreetc. Many brand names, see my pictures. Approximately 27 businesses. 8 food and restaurant options. 13 shopping options. 6 service businesses. Events; see their website. Ambiance - Again, a decent size mall. Plenty of parking, but more congestion near the 3 big anchors. Good thing I like to walk. Service - Overall good. It also depends on where you shop and what you do. Price - Slightly above average, but then again, we are in Napa! Owner Comment - Congrats on your success since 1962; glad to see that you are still thriving.

The only thing they are missing is Cooperfields Books, but other than that, this is stop is a must for those of us going along to Middletown. I can't tell you how many times I've seen customers, who were basking in the pools with us in Middletown, coming here to get a last bit to eat, cook, etc. on the way there or on the way back. I like coming here and look forward to it each and every time. They have some other places of interest such as Sift Baker and Heritage eats, but even without them, this would still be a place to stop and grab something to go. I look forward to it each and every time.

River Park Shopping Center is a full-service mall. It has a gas station, a drive thru Rite Aid, old…read moreschool Emmy Lou's Diner, a Goodwill, a donut shop, a Carl's Jr, a mattress shop, a new hot dog shop, Wah Sing Chinese restaurant, Valencia taqueria/Mexican grocery, and there will soon be a St. Joseph's clinic. River Park has had its ups&downs. Its Subway is empty most of the time... how it stays open is a miracle. There's a bar, a sketchy looking laundromat, the Fresh&Easy/gym is now a vacant anchor store. The homeless have camped out in the parking lot occasionally. Still, it's hardly a "dead mall." The organic Golden Carrot is gone; they once sold the vegetarian cookbooks of Crescent Dragonwagon&had business cards for chakra/Reiki healers. Of course, the Fresh&Easy spot has been empty for awhile.... luckily, there's a Grocery Outlet, and since they have genuine deals&NO self checkout, they do a business. The Grocery Outlet has benefited the shopping center greatly. The Goodwill is a great place for finding vintage books&vinyl albums. Happy's Donut Tree Too combines beautiful native Cambodian art with affordable coffee&donuts made onsite. Wah Sing Chinese restaurant is a neighborhood gathering place. Valencia Market/Taqueria is underrated, and their tacos el pastor have a prayer. River Park is slowly revitalizing. Hopefully a tenant will soon be found for the former gym/Fresh&Easy. Luckily, it's already flourishing... and unlike Bel Aire, the parking is good&it isn't too hectic.
