The cover was destroyed but we were able to jury rig her so she was drivable. After several delays and my rather grumpy bf not being happy about things, I got her back today. I had had them replace the cylinder. They had mentioned bent bolts and broken tabs. I figured it was how it was held in. So imagine my shock to find the entire steering column recovered. After I decided to repair my car here, he didn't respect the customer at all. - OVERPRICED, DONT CLARIFY ANYTHING, BEING RUDE WHEN YOU ASK QUESTIONS. My engine went hot and the coolant was leaking. I came to the shop based on its high rating on Google Maps. He did a diagnosis and said it is the water pump issue and asked for a labor fee of $600 to replace it. Upon mentioning a lower quote ($430) from another shop, I was informed of additional charges like diagnosis and towing if I chose to take my car elsewhere. Then he asked for a new labor fee of $500. The next day, he messaged me that another part, the coolant tube, is broken as well and needs a replacement. He charged another labor fee of $180 to replace that. Then I messaged back to ask if the water pump (his original diagnosis) is broken or not. He called me back immediately and asked me to not disturb him. Said something like "He is the best one out there", "I am not here to teach people", "I am well-educated". I am quoting some words from Sam when I was at his shop: (1) Sam: "Bring somebody who understands English and knows the car." (2) Sam: "I am 52. I have way more experience than you do. You gotta have to learn a lot of things. Because when you are working with professionals, you gotta shut up and listen to the people." Me: Is it professional to let a customer shut up? Sam: "Yeah, because the customer is dumb." After getting this horrible service, I found that there are many other customers receiving such bad service. That puts me at around $2000 that I spent by taking my vehicle to toy tech. Rude owner, and incompetent mechanics. I am currently looking into whether I can file a small claim against this company.

I could see an estimate changing a couple hundred, but $1500??? No parts were needed other than clips. No damage (body work), this was just prep and paint. I keep being given different days of when my car will be completed. Magnolia is NOT a huge place and I will tell anyone I know not to use them. The manager doesn't manage. These guys do it all and then some…read more More than just oil changes and state inspections They can do almost everything you need done on a car They do a thorough inspection of all parts and inform the owner what they feel needs doing but they *WON'T* do any work ever without the permission of the owner - also they will take the owner out into the bay to explain exactly what they are intending to do. The owners Casey and Graham are two of the most friendly, knowledgeable automotive service workers I have ever done business with, and I have done business with them for about four years. Relatives from NW Houston drive up to their shop because of the honest and excellent work.
