We came here on a Friday afternoon, and was seated within minutes. They do close at 2:30pm, and we arrived at 1pm. Our waiter was sweet and helpful with deciding on what sweet bfast to order. We ended up ordering the lemon ricotta pancakes. That was delicious and not too sweet. The lemon ricotta was nice and tangy with good big strawberries. The savory dish we ordered was the quesabirra hash- 10/10 must get! It was on the seasonal menu- but they need to consider keeping it full time because it knocked it out of park. The meat was nicely seasoned and the potatoes were coated in the yummy sauce. I also ordered the mint mocha ice coffee, initially it was very sweet- tasted more like a mint chocolate milk. Today's visit unfortunately left me with that meh, I was excited to come in been a while. Even the download my app and RSVP,d to get in line. Upon arrival I checked in at the host stand and my app txted me a updated time #2 in line possible 10mote minutes. Well it starts here watching 4 other groups getting sat and no texts, updated to bro BFF kicked off app waitlist now. 10min passed too. So we inquired what's taking so long for a table when all these other folks after us are being sat. Turns out hostess didn't send texts as she should have abs I know cause as I was showing her my phone and saying I was off the queue and had no texts she pressed a button on her tablet and immediately I got the text. Not cool! After getting sat we order turkey club and tomato soup and a Bacardi omelette with greens. The food was okay some things didn't show up on time and had to wait longer for condiments or drinks but we managed through. I think it will be another year or more before we return. Ordered take out from here today and our breakfast was delicious. When we got it, our food was hot as if it just came off the grill. We got home and it was still very hot. First Watch has always been one of my favorite brunch spots! They have many locations and the best part is that each location gives you the best experience and atmosphere. Our server Brenda was amazing she spoke Spanish and has a great personality, keeps the table up with drinks and smiles throughout our experience at the Apollo Beach area. I ordered my favs which is Ham & Gruyère Melt paired with a purple Haze and a pair cinnamon toast cereal milk. My friend got the traditional plate which is good if you want a little bit of everything in your morning dish. The place is open and relaxing. They have a nice variety of drinks, some you are able to get with alcohol. There is one drink with ginger and agave I love to get especially if I'm feeling a lil something coming on, allergies or cold. As hubby and I love First Watch I can bet you will to. If you have seen them however never stopped do your pallets a favor and stop, go in and get a delicious meals and drink. We have gone many many times. My husband loved his pancake. My Frittata Rustica was overdone but flavor was good. Coffee was very good. However, the young woman who was the greeter then processed our payment at the end persisted in calling me Sweetie, I think there was a Dear in there and perhaps a Honey. Why? I'm older but still scuba dive, pilot a plane, take no prisoners, and listen to better music than she might. SO irritating. Please school your greeters not to do that. It's condescending, disrespectful, and rude. Perhaps terribly old people who can't hear think it's nice. Most of my friends find it rude. read more

I am so happy they put a first watch over here ! Anyone who lives in this area knows that the drive to big bend and 301 is horrible, so if we just have to go on 41 - it's super convenient. My husband and I came at an odd time so we didn't have to wait in line or anything. We got seated as we came in and were greeted right away by almost everyone in the restaurant - it was great :) our server was great and she came right over and took our drink orders and food orders. We both ordered the purple haze and waters for our drinks. For our entrees, my husband ordered the turkey sausage and gravy biscuits with a side of bacon. He was very pleased with his meal. I ordered the BLTE sandwich. When they brought mine out, they did bring the incorrect item. They brought me a blt Benedict, but they corrected it right away and brought me my correct meal. My sandwich was great and full of flavor. Our server was very apologetic for the mishap and kept coming over to check on us to make sure everything was good. She was very sweet. The food and service are excellent as is the case at most locations, but what really sets this location apart is the chalkboard with the menu on the wall. The service was better here than at the Riverview location as well a former location that was The Egg and I.
