We arrived as a group of 4 on a Saturday night at 6 and the only tables that were left were outside. I was relieved! The inside is so loud you can't hear yourself think. Our server was super friendly and after looking at the great drink menu, we all ordered drinks. The food menu is large with a great variety of choices. I was in a burger mood and wasn't disappointed. First time here it's a nice layout high tops, booths and bar seating. Television sets everywhere and I mean everywhere. The menu is filled with multiple offerings you may have a hard time making a decision. The patty melt was huge and the burger done really well. The southwest shrimp bowl wasn't also very good but ask for some extra pico as the rice is sticky and needs some help. Service was good and only issue is that it's really loud not tv or music loud but hard concrete floors make all the noise bounce around. read more

Atmosphere this place is great for some drinks from the bar and to watch one of many large tvs for a game. It's very loud you need to speak Up to chat with friends at your table. There is WiFi but it doesn't work for the most part can't connect to it. Food, hmm I think I ordered wrong got the fish tacos, happy hour 1/2 flatbread and meatball sliders. The food tasted dried out, except for side dip or daunted added too. So think like a steak well done and then they give you steak sauce to make it juicy. It just isn't. Service, I guess depends on who you get, today's server was very short and fast, barely said a word to us, and for 4pm this place was so busy. We got drinks pretty quick and then apps, food came fast too refills not till the end of check being delivered. So no boxes kinda felt like why bother now food was dry and cold. We've been to Greyson MANY times since they opened and it's typically a great experience except when the receptionist sees a line of people waiting to be seated, looks you dead in the eye, and continues about her business ignoring you. Haha! But other than that the food has been great. Today was the exception when I got my favorite meal, the Taco Bowl, and for the first time requested extra pick and jalapeños and got zero tortilla strips. Is that a trade off? We drove by this spot on the way home earlier in the day and figured it would be a nice to check it out later. It was easy to find parking and the hostesses greeted us as soon as we walked in. Our server, Kayla was nice and checked in on us regularly. We wasn't pushy about anything and was patient as this was our first time and wasn't sure on what we wanted to eat. The fried pickles were so good and seasoned perfectly. I loved the sauce that came with it. The smash burgers were amazing! They were flavorful and tasted fresh. Although the fries were seasoned, we weren't big fans because they gave more of a chip vibe than a steak fry. Lots of tv screens to choose from in case you're looking to watch a fight or a game. Stopped in for a quick lunch we got the Mushroom Melt burger and the Greyson Chicken sandwich. Both were delicious. Mushroom melt burger was lacking some toppings or flavor for personal liking. Came into today for the first time with a party of 6 around 2 pm on Labor Day. Nice ambience, a little loud but fine. I had the smash burger which was so bland and overcooked that I struggled to eat it. My wife had the chicken parm sandwich and it was at best a 3 out of 10. Flavorless and falling apart. I've been in the foodservice business for over 50 years and one of the great operators in the industry once told me that every item you serve to a customer is one that when they leave your operation that what you served them was so good that they told their friends and that's how you build your reputation.................there was nothing special here and I won't come back. read more

The service was good but a bit slow (especially waiting for the check while my extra to-go order sat and got cold). I sat at the bar and there was only 1 bartender tending to the bar and high top tables in the bar area. She was running around a lot and it would've helped to have a second bartender. I got the shrimp tacos. The flavor was good but each taco only had 2 shrimp. Tacos that size at least need 3. After two bites, the shrimp was gone and I had a taco with only fillings. They are definitely skimping on the servings. The guy next to me got the grass fed burger and said it was really good so I'll give them another try and order that next time. I've seen other posts where people complained about the noise. It's a sports bar, it's gonna be a bit noisy. Was super excited to try this new place in town! My boyfriend and I went for drinks and apps, and were slightly disappointed. Nachos were great, pretzels were good, but almost half the cheese curds had no cheese in them (as a Midwesterner this was heartbreaking). Definitely want to try again but hope for a better outcome! HOW IS THIS PLACE GETTING SUCH GOOD REVIEWS! They must have family/staff/friends that throttle these because this is my second review, first was on Google because I wanted to give this place another chance. Read the reviews with legit customers! People commented getting sick here and the staff being awful! Ironically all of the good reviews have staff names in them. They are also vague. Something is up with that I promise you. FIRST I am legitimately offended that they would serve such basic, terrible food to kids. I will post the picture, but as soon as I saw the Mac & cheese come out I knew it was cheap, dry, tasteless Kraft. They gave my daughter applesauce in a cup with a top I had to rip off, and a Mott's apple juice box as a drink. The fact that they put zero effort in to making MAC & CHEESE is wild. I can get real made mac at Publix for way less than what we paid. Then a damn Applesauce cup... like it's a school lunch. I have a whole box of those at home. Like you couldn't put it in a bowl at least so people don't know the difference? Even Texas Roadhouse brings out a bowl. At least that way my toddler can rest her spoon in it without it tipping over. Then the basic full sugar apple juice box. Even McDonalds at LEAST has Honest juices, but since it's a box drink... my kid doesn't get refills? Then the "ice cream" she gets with her meal was the basic cups that have been around forever. Like the ones in the 90s you ate with a wooden spoon. I watched my child eating that meal and legitimately felt bad. The fact that it was $10 is ludicrous. This time around I got a buffalo Caesar wrap. Not bad I gotta say, but then they give you a ton tasteless fries (and a lot of them) with a side of the smallest black cup of their ranch you'll ever see. The staff are snarky girls, and even when I thanked our waitress and smiled at her she just gave the stank face back. Listen I'm not expecting this place to be Berns Steakhouse. But come TF on. What angered me is my child's food. People go here for alcohol most likely and the TVs which keeps it afloat because there isn't much around like that. They dress the place up with the millennial grey and sell crap food. I saw a review on Google too about flies in the place and they weren't wrong! Tons of flies all over our food while we were eating. If it's like that in the dining room I'm sure the kitchen is worse. First visit sucked, nachos were completely empty and small, greasy burgers and grilled chicken so tough, I couldn't get it to separate when I bit into it. Shame on this place for selling people HORRIBLE quality food, especially KIDS. It's 2026, get with the program. Even fast food chains offer better options. I will spread the word about the food here and although I'm one single customer and they don't care, word of mouth gets around. I hope some changes are made because what a shame. read more

I visited Greyson in Apollo Beach and unfortunately did not have a good experience. I ordered the ribs and chicken and became sick shortly after eating. The sweet tea was not cold even with ice, and the overall atmosphere didn't feel welcoming to me. The staff may improve with more experience, but during my visit, the service felt a bit unpolished. Very interesting menu. Piss Poor Service. Sat outside for 20-25 minutes. Several (4 or 5) wait staff walked by, looked directly at our table, never said we will be with you shortly or even acknowledged our presence. We left. As soon as the new wears off, this type of service unless improved, will probably bury the business. Also, some guy, maybe a manager was more focused on making sure that the TV's were on the right stations, than the service. Won't waste my time, nor money at this place. read more
