First ket ne sau that we have been there several times. And this might just be an exception, but not sure when we will give it a try again Was there Friday for lunch with s table for 8. Although I should mention that there was only 6 other customers there as the same time as us. Orders were taken with 4 of us ordering the Wedge! After several minutes we were notified that they had no lettuce and might we order something else. Oh but one of the workers had just gone to Publix and picked up some heads of lettuce. So we ate back on for our Wedge salad, that is for three of us as the fourth arrived maybe 20 minutes later. Now for some fun. It took four keys for two couples to finally get our bill right. Not sure we should laugh or get frustrated. I guess a little of both. Then to check out was another time waster!! To us, Training - Communication would go a long way. Located centrally and easy to find with plenty of parking. Upon entering you wouldn't expect such a dark and gloomy inside space but it definitely wasn't the vibe I expected. We sat outside, and had a little longer wait time being served but she was super friendly. Came on a Sunday for brunch so we took part in the unlimited mimosas. Placed the food order but waited 2 hours, TWO hours, before canceling the order and leaving to eat somewhere else. My friend came to visit, and we decided to go to Latitudes for a quick bite since we didn't want to drive far. The place was nicely decorated for the holidays and they also had live music. We chose to sit outside and the service was smooth. I ordered the salmon which was delicious and perfectly moist, though my quinoa was a bit bland to my taste. My friend enjoyed his shrimp dish. My only critique is that our server came as we were having our last bites to ask if she could bring the check, rather than asking if we wanted anything else. I was actually planning to order another class of that Chardonnay, but I went to the wine bar next door for it. Our server was very young and sweet, so perhaps just need a little more experience. Had a pretty disappointing outing at Latitudes. It was around 1pm on Saturday we went in for lunch, and the place was dead. About 12 people in the place. After ordering our food, it took over 40 minutes for it to come out, and by that time only 4 other people remained in the restaurant. When we asked about what the delay was we were ignored multiple times. We were told it was our peel n eat shrimp APPETIZER they were waiting on. Anyone who has made shrimp knows it takes minutes to cook and an immediate ice bath to cool down. It was very frustrating. Additionally the smashed burger came out lukewarm and the expectation with a smash burger is that it's smashed (thin) but these were rather thick and slightly pink inside. Here on a Sunday because they have a brunch menu, The menu has about 10 to 15 options approximately and I went with the traditional breakfast of eggs, bacon, breakfast potatoes and toast. I have to say it was very delicious and I received just enough. My wife went with the breakfast burger which has an egg and bacon with a side of breakfast potatoes. It was a nice size burger that my wife was only able to eat a few bites. Our friends dining with us ordered chicken & waffles and shrimp & grits. They both said that their meals ( not pictured ) were delicious and the one thing that was pleasant was the chicken is a boneless breast. We had a great dinner here on an early Sunday evening. We shared Wonton Wrapped Shrimp - yummy. I chose the "build your bowl" with Salmon, rice, spinach. Lots of bowl choices, and mine was very good. Was hoping for a good experience as it is our first time here. So far it is anything but enjoyable. The atmosphere and the live music are good. That's about where it ends for right now. We have been here for well over an hour and still do not have our meals. The tables are only half full and there plenty of servers here to run food and bus tables. Maybe the kitchen is just really slow but this is not acceptable to be waiting for over an hour, actually 1 hour and 20 minutes at this time. Finally got our food. A jalapeño burger, medium well. I have been here a few times recently, for dinner and brunch. Today was brunch and I had made reservations prior to coming. We were seated and offered drinks. The menu is a typical breakfast menu, no real big surprises. I settled on a western omelet which came with potatoes and toast. The meal arrived quickly and was served hot. The omelet was a bit overdone as the whole outside was brown. Potatoes were also overdone. Service was good and prices were typical. read more

The service was okay and the place appeared nice. I have visited this restaurant several times, but lately it has gone downhill. I ordered seared tuna every time the last few times it wasn't seared it was burnt. The burgers are to be served with vine ripe tomatoes, but are not and tasteless. Most of all fried foods are loaded with grease which means it's done at improper temps. The restaurant should consider closing or I feel an overhaul of quality of the food would make the business return to its greatness. read more

Went for dinner while in this area of town. The inside was cute and they have a nice screened in patio for outdoor dinning. We were seated outside and it took about 5-7 minutes for a server to stop by. We decided to start edamame and it came out quick and hot to the table. We also were offered bread service and we each had a roll. Those came out hot as well after a few minutes. For my main course I had steak and portobello pasta. I ordered the steak medium and it came out well done. It also said it was an Italian pesto sauce, but the sauce from the steak and the blue cheese took any pesto flavor out of the dish. It is not something I enjoyed. My one daughter ordered the beef tips and they were also over cooked and a bit chewy. She prefers her steak rare or medium rare so not a favorite of hers. Again we were outside on the patio, but the service was just ok since it seemed we didn't get checked on and if we would have wanted to ask items to be re-made it would have been ice cold and made it a very late evening based on the timing of the food. We are not in this area so can't say if we just hit an off night, but would not be on our list to stop by if we get back to that area of Florida again. read more

Let me start by stay this. We have been to Apollo Beach twice and was have been to Latitudes. Our first time we had gotten in late and were only able to get their late night food which consisted of Giant Pretzels, Chip and Queso, Fried Pickles, Flat Breads, and Quesadillas. There were some other options but I can't remember. Them. I will say we were pretty pleased with everything we good and was prefect for late night. Our next visit we came for a more reasonable dinner hour of around 7:00PM. Our friends who we were visiting had made a name for themselves since last time we were here and the wait staff knew them and even the owners came up to say hi. I will say the menu is quite large and has plenty of drinks on it too. For my drink I started with and Old Fashioned that was very good. We also started with and order of wings too. The wings were some of the best I have ever had. Make sure to have them cooked extra crispy. They were even able to build me a custom sauce which was a mix of Garlic Parmesan and Hot.. I have you spicy garlic parm wings, so good. For my entrée I got the Grouper Sandwich Fried. You can also get it grilled or blackened. The sandwich was very good and had plenty of Grouper on it too. I will also say their fries were great. They are some of my favorite. I'm a big fan of double battered fries. I also had a bite of someone's chicken tender which was also also very good for sure made there. Great honey mustard too! So the next day guess what? We came back for brunch. We came in around 10:00am-10:20am and were welcomed by our waitress Kody who was amazing and hilarious. I will say we were the only ones there this early but it's and older crowd kind of area and I just they don't brunch. We started with bottomless mimosas which were only $5 amazing! Cody made sure to brig us fresh bottles when we started to get dry too. For my food I went with the chicken and waffles. I will say it was not as good as dinner but prices were very good. Would have preferred just the chicken tenders from the night before. They only do serve brunch till 1:00PM and you can only order order food off the brunch menu till until 12:00PM then the lunch menu becomes available too. So next time I'll get my mimosas and wait for lunch to start. Great dinner, bottomless, staff and owners. Will for sure be coming back next time we're in town. read more
