Located in Riverview , we decided to come for breakfast before our day at the lagoon and anyone who knows me , knows I absolutely love MSBC and have been to several of their locations across the state. I love their biscuits and gravy , fried green tomatoes and maple vanilla latte iced or hot ! The service was amazing and I ended up having great conversations with the manager and few of the cashiers in regards to the area and the rumor surrounding the buy out of the company and what's next. Before I left I stocked up on several boxes of coffee in the k cups because it has become my morning staple as I now make the maple vanilla latte at home or while in my brand new office and need enough to last me months in case the new company stops selling it . Each box was $19 and let's just say I depleted their inventory lol. This location is a pretty good size with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. This was my first time trying Maple Street Biscuit Company, and I was pleasantly surprised! The menu is pretty extensive, although there are quite a few things on it that I personally wouldn't eat. I'm also not a huge fan of having a million things piled onto my breakfast sandwich, so I kept it simple and went with the regular chicken biscuit: a biscuit, fried chicken breast, and cheddar cheese. The chicken biscuit was good, although I felt like the chicken itself could have used a little more seasoning and flavor. The real star for me was the maple vanilla latte, it was absolutely perfect! Sweet without being overwhelming and exactly what I wanted with breakfast. The prices were reasonable, and even though I'd probably keep my order simple, I enjoyed my first visit enough that I'll definitely be back to try something else.it was also super cool to watch them hand make the biscuits, you can see them right from the register, and it made the whole restaurant have a homey feel to it. read more

Wow I'm not sure why I waited so long to try this place. The service was very friendly. I took no pictures of the food but best belief it was great. My partner enjoyed the steak breakfast tacos. Got my nails done today and next door was Maple Street Biscuit Co. Decided to stop in to see why it's always so packed. It was a good choice. I got the Hash Bold Bowl and a regular biscuit with their house jelly. Food was ok. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Service was good and they were friendly. I waited for so long to try this place and it didn't disappoint. The staff was nice and the restaurant was very clean. I tried the five & dime. It was amazing. The chicken was well seasoned and very juicy. They add a sausage gravy that has very big chunks of sausage. Definitely recommended. I also tried a but of the farmer. They added a apple butter that was really good. I also tried the iced churro latte. The flavor was really good. It had a caramel chocolate flavor I think, not sure. But it was really good. After my colonoscopy (ugh) we headed to Maple Street so I could finally eat.,.yay! I would have loved to get the chicken and waffles but they don't have sugar free syrup (I know, right?). So instead I got a bowl named Hash. It was potatoes, veggies, cheddar and scrambled eggs. Have to say it was good, a bit pricey at $13.99 but good. Listen up Maple Street.... Squawking Goat Chicken Biscuit Sandwich- 5/5- The perfect combo of goat cheese and pepper jelly to complement the chicken and biscuit. Five & Dime- 5/5- Again another flavor explosion of perfection. I did like combination with the goat cheese - Five and Dime: this was a pretty basic biscuit combination. The biscuit was nice and flaky, tasted really delicious. The entire sandwich as a whole wasn't out of this world though, especially for the price. I did like how the biscuit wasn't drenched in gravy, and how a lot of it was on the side so it wouldn't get too soggy - Smashbrowns: 10000/10 I would get these all day every day. I was almost tempted to get more after I finished mine! Overall, I would give this place a 3.5/5. This is a solid brunch spot. Everything here is good and customer service is also great. I tried the Farmer and Five & Dime chicken biscuits, and the seasonal strawberry lemonade and iced churro latte. The Farmer has apple butter and cheddar and the Five & Dime had and egg and sausage gravy. I liked both equally but I can see why the Five & Dime is the more popular dish. A friend invited me out to Maple Biscuit and I've never seen or heard of them before so when I checked their menu online, everything seemed really good. They specialize in biscuit dishes and entrees although they do have other options. You line up and pay at the register and find a seat as they bring your food out to you. Drinks are all self-serve which I really liked. There was no need for tipping since you basically do everything yourself such as clean up after you're done by putting your dishes in a metal tin as you exit. Biscuits and Gravy: 4/5, it was very tasty. Chicken Basket with Kettle Chips: 3/5, it was good but the buffalo sauce was a bit too sour for me and they drizzled a syrup over the chips and made them soggy which I didn't like. I was the only person waiting in the dining room, there were maybe 4 pickup orders while I waited. Hubby and I visited a Maple Street Biscuit Company back in Jacksonville a few years back. For me it was okay. They service biscuits with various breakfast toppings. I decided to give them another try. Ordered the mushrooms biscuits and gravy which came with scrambled eggs. I was hoping to have pieces of mushrooms in the gravy I could actually see and taste, but didn't. Hubby had the sausage biscuits and gravy which also didn't have any sausage you can see in the gravy. However, the taste was good. We shared some Smashbrowns. Now these are excellent. The service was good and the place is a nicely put together. Had a great breakfast here a few months ago and definitely will be coming back. The food here is not too crazy expensive (although I live in Vegas now, so my concept of expensive might be skewed). They also have a fun system for when they call your name, but I think that was the one thing that I didn't like as much, because it caused confusion. My fiancé & I have ordered various times for delivery and have eaten here in person. The food no matter how received, is great! Also keep in mind that we absolutely LOVE fried chicken sandwiches. I have literally had their Cinnabons, pretty much all of their sandwiches, and even their coffee and it's phenomenal. The only issue is that I always wish I had more. Biscuits 1/2 the size they were, condiment containers 1/2 the size (forces you to buy extra apple butter) and can you find any smaller tomatoes for your fried green tomatoes? When I first tried Maple Street I would order "The Farmer" (still do) and could only finish 1/2 of it so brought the leftovers home for lunch the next day. Now I can finish the whole thing in less time then it took me to eat 1/2 before. Biscuits are tho size of a half dollar coin now. This was their claim to fame, their biscuits, why so small now? I would not order these mini biscuits to bring home for guests, I'd be embarrassed to serve them. The Farmer still tastes good, but you are paying lots more for lots less! They used to have the best fried green tomatoes I ever ate. These were tiny, TINY I say. Barely any of the crispy spicy batter that make them so delicious. They were actually greasy and soggy. Disgusting! I'm going to guess your orders are not as good when you order ahead and pick it up. DONT DO THIS, ORDER THERE! I'm really trying to find an excuse for the change I guess. I let her know that we had a dog and drove 30 mins as they were advertised as having outside seating and being pet friendly. The cashier said they chained up the outside because they wanted to and when I asked if they could just let us use 2 chairs and a table that my husband would do all the work and she said no. Terrible customer service and just laziness from this location and company. My husband really wanted it still, so he got a to- go order and they didn't even include syrup for waffles.
