After my colonoscopy (ugh) we headed to Maple Street so I could finally eat.,.yay! I would have loved to get the chicken and waffles but they don't have sugar free syrup (I know, right?). So instead I got a bowl named Hash. It was potatoes, veggies, cheddar and scrambled eggs. Have to say it was good, a bit pricey at $13.99 but good. Listen up Maple Street.... Go to Publix and buy a few bottles of sugar free syrup, we diabetics would be very grateful. The fried green tomatoes are world class!

The only issue experienced was the food was warm, not hot. Looked like their staging area heater was either not working or not hot enough. Otherwise the food tasted good.

    - Squawking Goat: unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the pepper jelly. The flavor wasn't for me. I did like combination with the goat cheese - Five and Dime: this was a pretty basic biscuit combination. The biscuit was nice and flaky, tasted really delicious. The entire sandwich as a whole wasn't out of this world though, especially for the price. I did like how the biscuit wasn't drenched in gravy, and how a lot of it was on the side so it wouldn't get too soggy - Smashbrowns: 10000/10 I would get these all day every day. I was almost tempted to get more after I finished mine! Overall, I would give this place a 3.5/5. My boyfriend did like his biscuits however, so it might be worth trying even though it wasn't my favorite! Taste the smashbrowns though, definitely worth getting

This is a solid brunch spot. Everything here is good and customer service is also great. I tried the Farmer and Five & Dime chicken biscuits, and the seasonal strawberry lemonade and iced churro latte. The Farmer has apple butter and cheddar and the Five & Dime had and egg and sausage gravy. I liked both equally but I can see why the Five & Dime is the more popular dish. The strawberry lemonade was refreshing and the churro latte was a good, rich dessert drink.

A friend invited me out to Maple Biscuit and I've never seen or heard of them before so when I checked their menu online, everything seemed really good. They specialize in biscuit dishes and entrees although they do have other options. You line up and pay at the register and find a seat as they bring your food out to you. Drinks are all self-serve which I really liked. There was no need for tipping since you basically do everything yourself such as clean up after you're done by putting your dishes in a metal tin as you exit. Biscuits and Gravy: 4/5, it was very tasty. Chicken Basket with Kettle Chips: 3/5, it was good but the buffalo sauce was a bit too sour for me and they drizzled a syrup over the chips and made them soggy which I didn't like. Sweet Grace Waffles: 5/5, star of the show. Chocolate chip waffles like I've never had before and just absolutely amazing! I enjoyed my time here, it was a great experience!

OMG, so good and delicious!! Definitely recommend. The OJ is amazing. The food Comes out really fast.

The Sticky Maple added some hot sauce to the chicken and lord have mercy.

Oh my goodness! That dish hit every single taste bud and then some. I would have been perfectly fine with that being my last meal. 5 stars and worth a revisit and then some.

Hubby and I visited a Maple Street Biscuit Company back in Jacksonville a few years back. For me it was okay. They service biscuits with various breakfast toppings. I decided to give them another try. Ordered the mushrooms biscuits and gravy which came with scrambled eggs. I was hoping to have pieces of mushrooms in the gravy I could actually see and taste, but didn't. Hubby had the sausage biscuits and gravy which also didn't have any sausage you can see in the gravy. However, the taste was good. We shared some Smashbrowns. Now these are excellent. The service was good and the place is a nicely put together. I feel it is pretty over priced for biscuits, but worth trying at least once.

Food is always amazing! Service is great, friendly and willing to go above and beyond. Squawking goat : fan favorite!!! Unique but amazing! But that gravy on Five and Dime is the best! Savory, with spicy!!! Amazing!

Please consider supporting this business expansion so that it remains available to us. This does not appear to be an experiment to see how it goes. All of the signs, including outdoor signs, have been updated or replaced to announce that the business is open for dinner. The dining room is too bright. I suggested to server, who passed my comment on, that they should figure out how to dim the lights or turn some of them off. Speaking of the server, she was very friendly, efficient and accommodating. Our server's name was Ava, and she is an immigrant of Greek and Albanian descent, who has been in the United States for 29 years. Ava happily brewed a fresh pot of decaf for us and offered drinks for us to take with us. We were given the regular menu and a dinner supplement. I have attached copies of the dinner supplement and you can see there are varied options--and you can also see how reasonably priced the options are. Portion sizes were great. Too much for us, anyway. I had the fried shrimp platter and the $13.95 price included the shrimp, french fries, sauteed green beans and a really nice dinner salad. Joanne had the chicken salad croissant sandwich. She really liked her sandwich. I liked my dinner but being candid, I would be surprised if the shrimp were breaded in house as opposed to prepared and frozen by the purveyor. I will try something different next time or will have the shrimp grilled. Portions were plentiful. Overall, we had a really enjoyable experience. Based on the food, the location and the prices, we are certainly happy to support Eggtown for dinner.

Food smashed into the dirty carpet, menus smeared with grease, slimy handprints on every glass and plastic surface. Is the place cleaned by toddlers?! If the missed health standards aren't enough to deter people (wish I'd read those beforehand), the layers of grime should be a red flag. If that's what customers are seeing, imagine the kitchen. Also, the food was bad. Like everything. Grisly gnarled chicken, inedible, dry cornbread, and nasty mac and cheese. I didn't try anything else because it was so gross. My family members also hated their food. Staff waited until the last minute to refill things as it seemed like someone is opting to cut some sharp corners. Again, I felt bad for everyone working there. It seemed busy enough to turn a profit, yet there was something depressing about the vibe. I came here last year with my dad, and it wasn't like this, so it was disappointing. We were relieved to get out for under $100, but it was just nightmare fuel. Not worth it. It was soft and cheesy and I'd definitely get it again next time. I also ordered 3 regular pan de Bonos, an arepa con queso, alfajores, and i heard the guava and cheese muffins were a must so i grabbed one too. Oh yeah and two cafe con leches. I see they have lunch as well so I'm gonna have to go back for a lunch Sammy and maybe some empanadas. I love that they have all the tables inside.
