Got my nails done today and next door was Maple Street Biscuit Co. Decided to stop in to see why it's always so packed. It was a good choice. I got the Hash Bold Bowl and a regular biscuit with their house jelly. Food was ok. Ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Service was good and they were friendly. I waited for so long to try this place and it didn't disappoint. The staff was nice and the restaurant was very clean. I tried the five & dime. It was amazing. The chicken was well seasoned and very juicy. They add a sausage gravy that has very big chunks of sausage. Definitely recommended. I also tried a but of the farmer. They added a apple butter that was really good. I also tried the iced churro latte. The flavor was really good. It had a caramel chocolate flavor I think, not sure. But it was really good. After my colonoscopy (ugh) we headed to Maple Street so I could finally eat.,.yay! I would have loved to get the chicken and waffles but they don't have sugar free syrup (I know, right?). So instead I got a bowl named Hash. It was potatoes, veggies, cheddar and scrambled eggs. Have to say it was good, a bit pricey at $13.99 but good. Listen up Maple Street.... Squawking Goat Chicken Biscuit Sandwich- 5/5- The perfect combo of goat cheese and pepper jelly to complement the chicken and biscuit. Five & Dime- 5/5- Again another flavor explosion of perfection. - Squawking Goat: unfortunately, I wasn't a fan of the pepper jelly. The flavor wasn't for me. I did like combination with the goat cheese - Five and Dime: this was a pretty basic biscuit combination. The biscuit was nice and flaky, tasted really delicious. The entire sandwich as a whole wasn't out of this world though, especially for the price. I did like how the biscuit wasn't drenched in gravy, and how a lot of it was on the side so it wouldn't get too soggy - Smashbrowns: 10000/10 I would get these all day every day. I was almost tempted to get more after I finished mine! Overall, I would give this place a 3.5/5. I tried the Farmer and Five & Dime chicken biscuits, and the seasonal strawberry lemonade and iced churro latte. The Farmer has apple butter and cheddar and the Five & Dime had and egg and sausage gravy. I liked both equally but I can see why the Five & Dime is the more popular dish. A friend invited me out to Maple Biscuit and I've never seen or heard of them before so when I checked their menu online, everything seemed really good. They specialize in biscuit dishes and entrees although they do have other options. You line up and pay at the register and find a seat as they bring your food out to you. Drinks are all self-serve which I really liked. There was no need for tipping since you basically do everything yourself such as clean up after you're done by putting your dishes in a metal tin as you exit. Biscuits and Gravy: 4/5, it was very tasty. Chicken Basket with Kettle Chips: 3/5, it was good but the buffalo sauce was a bit too sour for me and they drizzled a syrup over the chips and made them soggy which I didn't like. I was the only person waiting in the dining room, there were maybe 4 pickup orders while I waited. Hubby and I visited a Maple Street Biscuit Company back in Jacksonville a few years back. For me it was okay. They service biscuits with various breakfast toppings. I decided to give them another try. Ordered the mushrooms biscuits and gravy which came with scrambled eggs. I was hoping to have pieces of mushrooms in the gravy I could actually see and taste, but didn't. Hubby had the sausage biscuits and gravy which also didn't have any sausage you can see in the gravy. However, the taste was good. We shared some Smashbrowns. Now these are excellent. The service was good and the place is a nicely put together. I feel it is pretty over priced for biscuits, but worth trying at least once. read more

Wow, from 5 stars down to two stars. Why oh why has this place sped downhill so much? I'll tell you why. Portions are half the size and prices continue to rise. Biscuits 1/2 the size they were, condiment containers 1/2 the size (forces you to buy extra apple butter) and can you find any smaller tomatoes for your fried green tomatoes? When I first tried Maple Street I would order "The Farmer" (still do) and could only finish 1/2 of it so brought the leftovers home for lunch the next day. Now I can finish the whole thing in less time then it took me to eat 1/2 before. Biscuits are tho size of a half dollar coin now. This was their claim to fame, their biscuits, why so small now? I would not order these mini biscuits to bring home for guests, I'd be embarrassed to serve them. The Farmer still tastes good, but you are paying lots more for lots less! They used to have the best fried green tomatoes I ever ate. These were tiny, TINY I say. Barely any of the crispy spicy batter that make them so delicious. They were actually greasy and soggy. Disgusting! I'm going to guess your orders are not as good when you order ahead and pick it up. DONT DO THIS, ORDER THERE! I'm really trying to find an excuse for the change I guess. Had a great breakfast here a few months ago and definitely will be coming back. The food here is not too crazy expensive (although I live in Vegas now, so my concept of expensive might be skewed). I felt as if they had very unique flavor combinations without being too filling. I was able to try a few different things that everyone at my table ate and they were all pretty good. Highly recommend the meatballs! And their biscuits The one thing I like about this place was that they had unlimited coffee, and the coffee was amazing! They also have a lot of seating for such a small place. There's a huge table for like 12 people right in the middle, but people are also friendly to share the table. They also have a fun system for when they call your name, but I think that was the one thing that I didn't like as much, because it caused confusion. Basically for your name, they asked what your favorite candy was, and of course, some people picked the same thing. I know from experience how challenging customer service can be especially in the food industry. Been there and would not want to do it again. It's def not everyone's forte. Our cashier was not one who enjoys this task. But the assistant manager and her awesome outgoing personality, hustle and patience more than made up for it. We got there at 1:45pm on a weekend and were told we can't sit outside. No rain- perfect weather. I let her know that we had a dog and drove 30 mins as they were advertised as having outside seating and being pet friendly. The cashier said they chained up the outside because they wanted to and when I asked if they could just let us use 2 chairs and a table that my husband would do all the work and she said no.
