Love our local HR First Watch. We've (our Breakfast Club) been coming regularly every 2 weeks for almost two years and always have a great experience. During Covid they were very conscientious about masks and cleanliness. We ask for the the same waitperson, Christine, and are always very happy with her service. She knows our standard orders and is always smiling. It's a friendly atmosphere and we usually see someone we know there. The food is always really good, no matter what we try. 5 Stars! read more

First Watch is a great addition to Highlands Ranch. The fresh juice is amazing. This summer try the Watermelon mint drink. So yummy. We have tried several different meals here and they have all been delicious. Our favorite place to go for breakfast. read more

Yummy food, I just went there again for breakfast and again it was delicious. The food is so fresh and well prepared. All 5 of us loved the food. The fresh juices are to die for too. Very healthy. The server was very friendly and took great care of us. Not overbearing but always there when she was needed. read more

Food was excellent but service was extremely slow and it took 45 minutes to get the food after ordering.

Wonderful place, staff. No real Butter, only margarine butter, be sure to bring your own to avoid that petroleum, chemical crap that is horrible for you. read more

2 out of 5 just because the food was satisfactory. We got to first watch after putting my name in online at the middle of the window and I was told it would be another 15-20 minute and that checking in online doesn't actually do anything but put my name on a list for when I arrive. We were seated not too much later, and ordered relatively quickly. After we ordered though it took 50 minutes for us to get our food and our waitress was nowhere to be found. Our waitress never even came over to refill our jug of water or apologize for the wait. We had to flag down the hostess in order to get more water which was brought by some other server. When she finally reappeared after we had already been waiting for 40 min without seeing her she took the first empty jug of water we had and said "let me get this out of the way." When the food got to us after 50 minutes it was good. No complaints there. However the service was more than unacceptable. The staff even openly complained to us about how the place was being run and said they were looking to move locations. When the staff complains you know you have a problem. This has never been a problem at the South Glenn location and I plan on giving my business to them in the future. read more

Highly underwhelming. Waited for about 45 minutes for food, which is somewhat understandable as it was busy however, we saw our server maybe 3 times in that time frame. We did not get water, had to ask someone else to bring. When we got our food, the eggs Benedict were basically hard boiled eggs, fully cooked through. I got the chickichanga, my eggs were also overcooked and had a rubbery texture. The gravy on the biscuits and gravy was very grainy. I ate my entree due to being hungry, but we considered leaving multiple times due to a lack of communication from our server. Nonos is right down the street, i recommend going there instead! read more

Decent at best. I hate to be that person but the service was rough. The women at the front desk were rude. We waited 45 minutes for our food (at least). It was cold and overcooked. Very unpleasant experience to say the least. AND they don't have their liquor license. read more

So what happened to the Egg & I? The staff was courteous, prompt and our food was always good. We've been going there since they opened and it's never disappointed. The only thing this place has going for it is the decor-super cute. The staff is different, our server was unprofessional explaining how her day was going(sounding like an excuse for poor service) even before she asked what we wanted to order. My husband ordered breakfast tacos and I had the French toast. His tacos were ok but were served with what tasted like cold black beans from a can with a scoop of pico. My French toast was soo disappointing-2 pieces barely dipped in egg and incredibly dry, no flavor and served with a very small vessel of what seemed to be raspberry donut filling. It's pricey for what little food you get and the quality, we will not be returning. read more

Disappointing. Food was underwhelming and to my surprise the coffee was passable at most. Very little options within their menu and the classics they should be getting right are mediocre at best. Makes me truly miss The Egg and I and will have to find a new go-to breakfast spot. read more

Guys, don't bother. Service is slow, waiters don't check in and we got our check five minutes into eating. I got the farm style skillet and asked for it to be made without tomatoes because they make me sick. It came with no bacon (what was on the menu) and was full of tomatoes. I spent TEN MINUTES just trying to get out of there because waitresses kept nervously eyeing the back, I guess they weren't trained on the register? The one person who seemed able sat two parties before checking us out. That's the worst service I've received in ten years, a terrible start to the new decade. I won't be back. read more

We had been to Egg and I 3 or 4 times and thought the food was average. Had been to First Watch in Knoxville, TN, and Centennial, CO, so we knew the switch from Egg and I had some positives (mainly more interesting food options). The yelp reviews weren't great, but we decided to give it a try today. We went at 10:30 on a snowy Sunday morning. Overall it was a bit better than expected. Party of four adults ordered a trifecta, farmhouse hash, and 2 egg Benedicts. We also had the million dollar bacon and Morning Meditation Fresh Juice. Seemed like the server felt awkward and making eye contact was painful for her. I don't think she cracked a smile the entire time. Food arrived in 25 minutes, which was the outer limit of what we would consider reasonable on a busy Sunday. Two of us ordered scrambled eggs. Both had whole yokes in them (gross - that's why we order them scrambled!) One of the water glasses was not rinsed well, as there was something floating in the water. Probably soap, which made us feel a little better because at least they get washed! Food overall was a 4. Best thing was the country potatoes. Million dollar bacon and juice was fine. Just pretty expensive for what you get. Would not order either again. We will go back. It wasn't so amazing that we are dreaming about it, but it's a decent place. read more
