I ordered the Chili Chorizo Omelet and I would say it was tasty. The portions of the food was great, especially for the price point. They gave a generous amount of mixed greens and the size of the omelet was great. Major downside to the omelet was that there was barely any chorizo in it. Had to stop by the newest first watch near me being as this is one of my favorite breakfast stops! When fall rolls around, the pumpkin pancake is a must for all pumpkin lovers! I do the trifecta and change my pancake that way I can get eggs and my choice of meat. I paired it with a refreshing kale tonic (strong on the cucumber so a no go if you don't like that). I so wish they had a location back home. My family and I went here yesterday for brunch. They were amazing! First off, our waitress was so sweet. I wish I knew her name. We checked out the menu online before we came in but then found out the the menu changed with the seasons which was a little disappointing since I had banana foster pancakes on my mind and they were not on the "summer" menu. Anyway the avocado toast made up for it! All in all a good experience. Food was fresh and delicious. A little on the pricey side but worth it. I found this spot on Yelp while looking for a local spot for brunch. Met up with a couple friends to get our day started. So I thought I'd added us to the online waitlist but when we arrived the manager/ host let us know that I had signed up for the wrong location. Sigh. He promised the wait would only be about 20 minutes. Place was full! We headed to the bar to gab a cocktail and luckily found three empty seats so decided to eat there. Margaret our server was awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable about the menu she served us cocktails while we decided on brunch options. Started with bloody Mary's and the Pomegranate Sunrise, a tequila based drink. Both were well done and very balanced. We had the chickichanga which had Whipped eggs with spicy, all-natural chicken breast, chorizo, green chilies, Cheddar and Monterey Jack, onions and avocado rolled in a flour tortilla. Next was the Works omelette Ham, bacon, sausage, house-roasted Crimini mushrooms, onions and tomatoes with Cheddar and Monterey Jack. Topped with all-natural sour cream. I had the classic eggs Benedict which they do on French baguette and topped with tomato slices. Also had the lemon ricotta pancakes which are light and fluffy served with fruit and lemon curd. There was also an order of million dollar bacon which is thick cut glazed in brown sugar and black pepper. All our food was delicious, portions were very generous. My only issue was my poached eggs were overdone but that was a minor concern when everything else was perfect. I'd definitely go back to this place! Five stars all around. read more
