    Honey Chicken Chipotle Hash
    Mary Lynn J.

Sheyniqua is a very nice person and a great server. She checked on us, asked if we had any questions. Brought out the food promptly. First Watch has a good selection of foods. But their seasonal menu is fabulous. I had the honey chicken chipotle hash. It was worth the trip. It is huge and I am glad I liked it because I am having it for lunch too. The restaurant was clean but as with most restaurants, cold.

    No prices on drinks!!!!

Better experience on 2nd Watch. Brunch was fairly busy & we sat ourselves at the bar. The server at bar was very sharp & did a good job. Thorough! The roast beef sandwich w/ soup was a decent deal for the size of the sandwich & toppings. Didn't love the horseradish so glad I got on side. Bread was super crispy w/ toasted cheese on it. The vegetable soup was ok. Wish it had beef & not so heavy on corn. Wife liked French toast w/ all the fruit toppling. The warm syrup & jam complimented perfectly. Bananas were bit over ripe & dominated. Prices were a bit high at $26 for brunch for 2. Food came sorta fast. All was clean & tidy.

Been here numerous times since its opening. Heard it was originated from the South. The menu is so electric and changed for the season. I've never had a bad experience or a bad plate of food. I've gotten something different every time and it always hits. The juice bar is fabulous. Always refreshing and healthy. They have alcohol as well but it never seems the right time when I'm there. The Watermelon Wake Up and the Kale Tonic are my favorite. The Million dollar bacon should be illegal it is so good. The only small almost negative thing I could say is that, most of the food and menu is farm fresh and caged and healthy, which is great but it does tend to raise prices a little bit. You are paying for great service and food so it totally makes sense. A solid 9.3 out of 10. Give it a shot.

A little pricey, but the food was delicious. I really enjoyed my chickichanga, which was covered in a flavorful Vera Cruz sauce. The Vera Cruz sauce at First Watch is not to be confused with the tomato-based veracruz sauce. The sauce at First Watch was like a tasty hollandaise. The potatoes were also well-seasoned and well-cooked. I also liked my Purple Haze drink, which looked and tasted good. It was sweet and refreshing. I wish it came with free refills but alas. Service was also friendly. Though it was busy, our waitress came to check up on us a few times and refilled our waters. The restaurant was clean. Because it was packed with people, it was loud and somewhat difficult to have a conversation. Note - You pay via a QR code by default. If you want to pay another way, you'll have to go up to the front

Care asada breakfast taco special. Kale juice so yummy and coffee of course.

Jadyn at the breakfast bar was awesome, friendly, checked in without being pushy. The food is incredible as always. Just love this place. I never want to go to an ihop or dennys again.

This is a hard review to write! I had an absolutely wonderful meal with my husbands and friends, but my husbands meal was good not great and our waiter was ok but far from friendly. I had the best avocado toast with scrambled eggs and shared a side of potatoes. My husband had the turkey breakfast wrap. He said it was good but the mushrooms were not cooked through so the water was making the whole wrap soggy. The bar area was adorable...never have seen that before.

First watch always has fresh, local produce on their menu. Their fall seasonal dishes are so delicious. I also really like the big selection of juices.

OK let's first start with the atmosphere. I'd give it a 4.5. Very pretty, decorated cute, decent amount of seating, a little loud though. We stopped in about 11am on a Saturday and had a 20 minute wait to be seated. It took a little for our waitress to come by as well. But once the order was placed the drinks and food came out in an acceptable amount of time. However it did take a while to get the check. Now for the food. There is NOTHING vegan. I repeat, NOTHING VEGAN. Yes there are vegetarian options but nothing vegan. So I sat there with a bloody mary, minus the bacon, yet still paid the with bacon price . My daughter got 2 eggs, a waffle, and 2 pieces of sausage. She said it was good and did enjoy it. We also got the pineapple express drink (pass) and she got an iced coffee (loved).

A great place for brunch. Food was delicious, juice was fresh, ambiance was rustic but a little loud and very clean. Service was quick and polite. A little on the pricey side for breakfast food and portions weren't huge but everything seemed to be high quality. Definitely recommend the million dollar potatoes. We got an order of their donuts to go and were surprised to see a fifty cent "supplies fee" on our receipt for it. Will probably be back in some time.

Several of us came in for breakfast on a Saturday morning... getting there around 8AM, they weren't busy at all and we walked right in and got seated immediately. But by the time we left, they were packed. Menu is the typical menu at FirstWatch restaurants and was decent. I tried their crunch breakfast tacos and they were good. Coffee was good as were the other items we all enjoyed for breakfast. Service was decent and the place was clean and nicely decorated. Restrooms were clean and well-stocked as well. Overall, another nice visit to a First Watch.

What a cute place with great service ! My waffle was perfectly flaky and paid with jam and whipped cream. We also trie the blueberry lemon cornbread which is to die for!! And I could eat all day!

The food was good, I ordered the pumpkin pancake breakfast. The service was incredibly mediocre if not bad... they seem to be relatively well staffed in the kitchen and the front so it just did not add up. The ambiance was alright, definitely loud but makes sense with every table being full. Very little wait time even though they were busy which is always great!

Parma Heights is so far, guys. So so far... So after fangirling over the lush, girly decor and taking ALL the pictures ever, my 5 friends and I ordered at the counter a bougie drink and a plate of food each. There's abundant seating in this two story cafe so we found a table and waited between 5 and 10 minutes for it all to be ready. Despite my goal to stop spending money on beverages, I spent $8 on a regular sized iced decaf carrot cake latte with almond milk. Delicious and definitely instagrammable, but RIP to my money. I regret not taking the lovely glass it was served to me in, but my conscious kicked in and I didn't pilfer it. Haha! For dinner, I originally wanted to get a pizza but changed my mind last minute due to it being 90 degrees outside. So instead, I got an italian panini with a side of potato chips ($14). I don't like mayo so asked that be taken off. The only sauces they have are mayo, hot sauce, and horseradish mayo. I got the horseradish mayo on the side, but didn't really use it. I hope they can add mustard and ketchup to their sauce lineup in the future. All in all, I spent about $24. All 6 of us had very instagramable food and drinks. They looked better than they tasted for the most part. I liked my drink and panini but didn't love it, especially for the price. My friends lavender lemon loaf was gorgeous, but sadly dry. I love the look, like the menu, and wish Cafe Blanc wasn't so outrageously far away! I'd love to get brunch here with my gal pals! I wanna get one of their dessert crepes, please and thank you! I am giving Cafe Blanc 4.5 stars out of 5.

We all visited Cafe Blanc for the first time and loved our experience especially the large (free) parking lot. We sat on the 2nd level towards the back. QUICK REVIEW (read this if you don't want to read this whole review): Try the potato pancakes. Great food and service. Slightly more elevated cafe. Busy during peak morning/afternoon hours and most likely less busy in the evenings. I have not been in the evening yet. Free parking lot and free wifi. FOOD - there are lots of food options to choose from for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They have sandwiches, salads, pizza, and pastries. I arrived around 10:20am so I wanted breakfast. I read that the croissants are okay but I haven't tried them. I ordered the potato pancakes, blueberry hibiscus tea (hot) as a dine-in order plus a slice of almond cake as a takeout order. The potato pancakes ($19) was delicious. It comes with 3 thick potato pancakes topped an egg on the center and with bacon bits spread all over. The potato pancakes also come with sour cream on the side which I didn't realize so I moved that to the side of my plate because I don't like or eat sour cream. I would order the potato pancakes again as a savory breakfast item but $19 is a little steep for the price. The blueberry hibiscus tea ($4) was a refreshing drink served on a mug. If you enjoy the combination of white tea leaves, rose hips, natural blueberry, and hibiscus then this tea is for you. I also ordered an almond cake slice ($6) but to go. The almond cake is a light and tasty cake with sliced/shaved almonds on top. SERVICE -- Friendly. Me and one of the shorter female employee had a nice laugh when I went down later in the day to order an almond cake. They started getting busy when I arrived after 10am on a weekday but I was able to walk right up to the front counter to order. The buzzer handed to me buzzed probably within 15-20 mins and I went down to get my order. I believe the tea that I ordered was ready first. Overall, I'll definitely be back. Prices are higher than a traditional cafe. The plus is that there is free wifi so it's a perfect spot to work on your laptop. The tables are big and the chairs are comfortable. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 99/250 total reviews in 2026 - 940 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 May 2026

Coffee or tea in a place most people wouldn't think is a college town - 1 of 2…read more This coffeehouse, Rise and Grind, came up on a search when I was in this immediate area. I chuckle at all the names coffeehouses come up with that have the word grind or ground in them. It's a lot like how places that cut hair seem to work in the word(s) sheer and/or shear. The college here is private Baldwin-Wallace University which may have had a religious denomination closer to its founding, but, at this juncture, appears to be more secular. It's actually a few miles east of Rise and Grind, closer to the older town center, and offers instruction in a broader range of fields than one might expect. I saw that this coffeehouse got very good reviews and, with its big parking lot near a major gym, I thought I'd take a look. Parking was easy and, upon entering, one sees it's both a physically and personally welcoming place. The store is lengthy, so one can sit in the front half or the back half, which is more suitable for larger groups, but I chose the table I selected for its proximity to outlets and the counter. On what was a warmer day, I opted for iced tea and an orange frosted donut. The brand of unsweetened iced tea was very good and the orange donut was delicious. I could have eaten another one. Beyond chocolate donuts, this is probably my favorite flavor and one doesn't often come across orange frosted donuts. The service was very amicable. The prices are in line with what others running independent coffeehouses would charge. In fact, I'm starting to like independent coffeehouses more and more for a multitude of reasons, one being that they now handily compete with the chains and have more character. Rise and Grind falls in between 4 and 5 stars, but it tilts to 5 stars because of the tidiness and pleasing ambiance of the store, the apparent vibe that this is a labor of love for the proprietors, and even for having that orange frosted donut.

Inside is very spacious, homey but modern. There was a lot to consider, but they advertised as a crepe place so I opted for a savory and sweet crepe plus a croissant to go. Plus some macaroons because why not? Got to watch my crepes come to life, and food got dropped relatively quickly. Took pics and dug in. The crepes were fairly large and had pronounced flavors. The Paris crepe was citrusy and sugary in the right ways. The whipped cream was of low quality though, leave a film on top of the pallet and the propellant was bitter which makes the whipped cream taste cheap and out of a can. The savory crepe was odd. The presentation made it look like a sweet crepe, but it was balsamic glaze. It worked with the filling but threw off my expectations. It was funky, cheesy, and very savory. Needed a little salt to help make the cheese flavor pop. The croissants are gigantic. Did not expect as big of one for the price. Was suppose to be pistachio flavored cream but it was more almond flavored. Think they tried to use extract and lost the flavor with the sweet. The macaroons were okay, little crumbly and also lacked flavor. Not bad, but not with the price. Everything came out to about 45 bucks, so a bit pricy but the portions were large. I would expect a bit more punch in flavors for the money, but it wasn't too bad given the size. It's good crepes, and great portions. Needs better quality control on their flavors but if they can fine tune that then this would be an easy recommendation. Right now, it's fun to try but might be not to everyone's taste

I had a certificate for $20 so I ordered the Smashed Egg Avocado Bagel, the Bang Bang Shrimp Wrap and a big Chocolate Chip Cookie. The staff was great getting the certificate redeemed and guiding me through the menu. The food came out in a very timely manner, presentation was simple and straightforward. I had plenty of food for a very nice lunch. The egg and avocado bagel was interesting, the bagel was a bit soft for my preference, it was topped with a generous spread of egg and avocado mix plus some fresh spinach leaves. A very nice and healthy breakfast sandwich, a bit milder in flavor then I prefer, but good. The shrimp wrap was a good sized flour wrap around cold cooked shrimp with shredded cabbage and a great spicy sauce that perfectly complimented the wrap. This was excellent, the cool meaty shrimp contrasting with the crunchy cabbage and the zippy creamy sauce. I would highly recommend this if you like a bit of spice. The warm cookie was a great way to finish my lunch, very soft and gooey, packed with high quality chocolate chunks. About the only issue I had with the cookie was that it was hard to eat with just my hands, I ended up using the fork for most of the cookie. Jade Owl Cafe is a great local place to grab some high quality food, pastries and drinks. It is woman and minority owned, very well thought out and executed. The food is fresh and tasty, service was great and the overall experience was just what you could expect from a cafe. If you are in the area give them a try.

You enter in and pick which mug you'd like your drink to be served in. I thought this was a super fun concept! (I tried not to think of other germy hands touching my cup though haha). I got a cappuccino which was tasty. And I got a s'mores waffsicle, which was so delicious! We sat on the bar side because there were plenty of clean tables over there. (One table was very cold and drafty so watch out hahah) Service was slow; I think maybe only two people were working. There was a giant garage door which will be so nice to have open in nicer weather!! We were also wondering if the mugs will be switched out for glasses when it's iced coffee season! We didn't have kids with us, but noticed some kids toys, a high chair, and changing table in the bathroom available making this place a kid friendly option! Overall, I would definitely come back !

It was very nice to have personal interaction. I had seen on social media the S'mores Latte many times and wanted to try it. I was exited that it was able to be made dairy free so I ordered it with almond milk. I also ordered a dessert while I was there. The Kataifi topping had me sold. Both were very delicious. The latte was not strong like some other places would make it. There was a perfect portion of all the flavors; not too milky or overpowering with coffee. The dessert was very light and creamy. The topping also had honey which added to the deliciousness. I enjoy everything in-house while enjoying the atmosphere. It was very clean and relaxing. This is a great place to catch up with family or friends or enjoy some time alone. While I was there I downloaded the app on my phone that not only gives rewards but allowed you to order in advance.

Having the option to order single servings or a whole pot is nice also. The service was very good. The server brought our drinks to the table. There were not many people there when we arrived around 10a. As we sat there the entire cafe filled up. It is definitely a popular spot for coffee. Overall the coffee is also reasonably priced. The decor in the cafe is very nice. The chairs were comfortable. We also saw the staff spraying air freshener on the artificial flowers. They pay attention to details.

It's popular with students, with educators, with local residents, and with whomever has had it recommended to them ... like me. I have had two people tell me about Cafe Ah-Roma and one was a local friend who now prefers coffeehouses in suburbs closer to the lake. Regardless, everyone you ask about it seems to know exactly where Cafe Ah-Roma is. When first told about it, I thought it had something to do with Rome. It then became very obvious it's a play on the word aroma that will additionally have you making an "ah" sound for relief and/or elation. The interior is comfortable like an old shoe and, based on the postings, art work, and vibe, the store has real connectedness to its community. Note that this area leans slightly liberal but not ridiculously so. That means you might even see a Karen or two in here. Also, true to the notion that "culture comes from the top down," the staff that helps you, often students, are very polite and customer-focused when the chain coffeehouses are almost at the point of sliding things at you. These are good values that the owners are passing on to employees and, here, it's about the customers. They want to know that you are happy with your purchase. I want to add that, to go with your coffee or tea, they have cookies, pastries, or could put together something savory for you. In my case, I added a tomato basil bagel with a vegetable spread that they made for me. It's all good. The prices for menu items are also fair. This coffeehouse is in the suburb immediately south of the international airport. Only a few hotels are north of CLE, with most of them being south in Berea or Middleburg Heights. If staying at a nearby hotel, this locale is nearby. Cafe Ah-Roma is for everyone and the broad customer base is really interesting. In more temperate weather, there are exterior chairs and tables under the covered walkway to nearby stores. The interior is fairly spacious and bright. In closing, Ah-Roma deserves high marks for being a good coffeehouse (4 stars) and then some, hence 5 stars.

Everything is very clearly well thought out and intentional. The odes to Mikey make me smile. The reason I'm leaving another 5 star review? The service. I brought my kiddo in for a quick bite after her gymnastics practice this weekend. It was so warm out that we decided to sit on the patio. We had underestimated the strength of the wind, and her cookie blew off from our table. Was this their fault? Absolutely not. We're Ohioans, we know what we sign up for any time we decide to trust the weather. However, as we went to move inside the owner was already having a new cookie brought out to her. Caring about the guest's experience and that level of attention to detail makes the difference between the good and the great. I truly hope they thrive.
