After my one star review I was immediately contacted by the company's customer service center with an apology and asked to try again. I am giving 2 stars now because of that attentiveness. We went back on a Saturday morning. People were waiting on the sidewalk so we wanted to find out how long the wait would be. Once inside there was a crowd at the desk because the credit card reader was not working. We stood right by the register at the doorway and waited about 5 minutes trying to catch the eye of one of the ladies who was not dealing with the other customers, but no luck- so we left. Great place for breakfast. We stayed at the Naples Golf Club, so an easy walk. Excellent coffee for starters and they leave the thermos jug on your table so you don't have to eager the mug when you're empty. I had the Parma Hash, which was fantastic. My companion had scrambled with bacon, but there was impressive variety on the menu. We ate indoors but there's outdoor seating. Will go back. read more

I removed two of the 5 stars I usually give First Watch because it has removed my 2 favorite breakfast items: muesli and regular oatmeal. The new steel cut oats is not a happy replacement as it is not the slow cooking kind. Even worse, the muesli I adored is not available at all. Please put it back on your menu...it is a super healthy entree!! read more

Very nice location, and friendly staff. Only a 20 minute wait to be seated ( very good for a Sunday) but took 45 minutes from ordering until food was served. I ordered 1/2 sandwich and soup, waitress took it upon her own digression to order a whole sandwich ( which I didn't get BUT was charged for) others ordered the classic breakfast, but didn't feel like it was enough food for men. read more

Oftentimes, the good service from a restaurant can stop me from leaving a negative review, but this time the food was just too terrible. First let me start this by saying that every year we visit this First Watch location and have so far been happy. This year not only was the food iffy at best, but the floors were so noticeably sticky that we questioned their cleaning quality. Our favorite side, the potatoes, are usually fried until perfectly golden and crunchy on the outside, this year they were way undercooked and starchy. We also were disappointed with our too-fishy-for-comfort crab and asparagus omelette and the super bland smoked salmon eggs Benedict. Living in Orlando, we have come to expect a certain level of food quality which wasn't apparent this visit. It really makes me upset when restaurants get lazy with the quality of the food they serve because they know regardless they will have a steady stream of tourists. Please please please if you are considering having breakfast in the beautiful city of Naples, drive a little further to the amazing local restaurant Sunburst Cafe. Not only is the food better, but it is less expensive and will leave you a lot less disappointed. We wish we had. read more

We've been going to this restaurant for over twenty years and it's always the same. Sometimes it's good but the vast majority of the time it's not and this morning was no exception. From the cold, overpriced food, which didn't arrive together, to the apathetic, non-attentive, millennials who work there, it's really a disappointing experience overall. Rather than waste your money at another chain restaurant, like First Watch, that started out decent but has steadily declined, I would recommend one of the independent breakfast places in town where you consistently get good food and great service like Blueberries or Goldies. read more

It's important to time your arrival, as families specifically may need to wait for a table. As someone who eats extremely healthy, I appreciate the heart healthy menu that offers a variety of breakfast options. The fresh juices taste great but I'm not sure that they are freshly squeezed. The hubby got the classic breakfast and it was delish. He has also had an omelet and the hash here before and said it was top notch. Prices are average for a breakfast spot. Limited outdoor seating is nice too with a water view. read more

Had breakfast at the Naples location Tuesday April 24. We were seated outside after waiting about 20 minutes. The hostess stated she was waiting for a table to be bussed before seating us. While we waited she was cashing out diners and seating arriving diners that came to the register after us while we stood in the entrance. There was obviously an empty table for some time and we were tired of waiting so we sat down. The hostess acted rudely that we sat down at the empty table and seemed clearly annoyed. When I pointed out that the only thing on the table was an empty water glass she became huffy and walked away. She came back about 10 minutes later, our server still had not come by, and said "they still didn't buss your table?" I said why don't you just pick up the glass? I felt the hostess was poorly trained, didn't seem it was for her to help the other staff, wasn't polite and didn't handle the customer flow efficiently. There was no manager in site. The food was fine and the waiter was great once he came by. We eat at the Villanova location and are always completely satisfied with both the food and service but Naples location needs a polite hostess and manager who is visible and knows how to manage and train his staff. read more

We discovered this gem last year and make a point of having breakfast there every time we visit Naples. Love the healthy choices. Enjoyed the forager omelet with egg whites and the fluffy waffles are delicious. The staff is friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend eating here. Go early if you don't want to wait for a seat! read more

I have visited 4-5 different First Watch locations over the past 3-4 years. The food is consistently good and the menu is a refreshing break from the average diner. I find that the service can vary significantly from location to location. This location is disorganized in various area. We waited to be seated after several parties that arrived after us because the cashier and hostess had no system to list parties upon arrival. Quite surprising for a group with many locations. Then the kitchen mis-interpreted our server's order resulting in a botched order. The server was above and beyond nice. The cashier was listless not even thanking us for our business. I think a series of customer centric personality profiles would definitely benefit the chain's reputation and customer experience. Just my $.02. read more

Worst customer service I have ever experience. Hostess skipped right over us, even though we sat right in front of her, bacon and onion hash should have been called the 'burnt and no onion' hash. Server repeatedly ignored us even as we tried to get her attention. Such a shame for such a great chain. My first time here. I asked for scrambled medium and not dry. Waiter said OK. What I got was stem table dry scrambled. One of a couple things happened. Scrambled eggs were already prepared and just scooped out, cook ignored the request and really doesn't know how to cook eggs, the waiter fever told him what I wanted. Bottom line, do I need to figure this out? I know plenty of restaurants that can get what I want and some are less expensive. Furthermore, while I was in the mens room, a fellow rushed in and needed to use the facilities but there was a restaurant employee cleaning the toilet area. The man told him that he was sick and and needed to use it fast. The employees said well I need to clean it up first. The man then told him he was going to use the ladies bathroom. The employee just chuckled a little as if the guy was just feigning being sick. The staff here needs a good talking to. Enough said. read more

I am a big fan of First Watch. I have been to Skillets (not bad) and Mel's (bad or good, depending on who is working) but First Watch always pleases! I have a favorite waiter (Tyler), and always try to get her table. Today, she was not working, so I had another waiter. I won't reveal her name, but I WILL remember it. Her inattentive, lax work ethic marred an otherwise great meal. Not only did it take her a few minutes to come to my table (not a busy time of day, either) but she took her time bringing my first beverage. Once I had that beverage, and got my food, the only thing she did without prompting, was drop the check on the table. I had nearly finished my soda, by which time Tyler would have given me a refill. Not this woman. She was too busy talking with a family two booths away. I stopped reading my paper, stopped eating, and waited for her to finish her conversation. Finally, she made her way over and the only question she had was "Can I get you a box for that (unfinished food)?" I said, no, I am still eating, but WOULD like a refill. It came after a time. By the time I finished my meal, my 2nd soda was nearly gone. She came by and this time asked if I wanted a soda to go. I still had some more to read in my paper, so I just asked for a regular glass. it took her nearly 5 minutes, in which time I finished the paper, before I got the soda. When it came time to pay, I took what she gave me (the check she used to write up my order) to the register, and was asked where the computer printout was. When I told the hostess that what I had was what I was given, she looked at my waitress, who nodded and went to get the right ticket. She blamed the stapler. But, really... do you not have enough on the ball that you can't tell the stapler failed? And there was no tell-tale indentation to prove her words. I will walk out before I sit at her station again. I normally overtip for a breakfast/lunch, as the tickets are smaller, price-wise. It's usual for me to tip $5.00 on a $12.00 check at First Watch. This time the check was $15.00 as I ordered more than my usual, and I left $2.00--which was really more than this waiter deserved. I will definitely eat at First Watch again, but will never sit in her station again. read more
