AMAZING!!! I'm sure there's another word I can use, but my vocabulary is not that extensive! lol! I don't know what else to say. The food was so delicious. I kept eating, and eating and eating until I was way past full!!! If you are ever in Naples, FL please check this place out for dinner. I hope that I'll be back in Naples sooner rather than later so that I can go back to lavender café and bistro because I know whatever I order I will not be disappointed.!!!!

The food was fine. I love lavender e v e r y t h i n g, so I was super excited to come see this place. It was a cute little restaurant, not busy at all when we visited.

Came here on NYE for dinner with our group of four. Lavender is a nice cozy cafe, with colors true to its name. We were welcomed upon entering and seated promptly. I ordered the Bellini to drink and it was nice. We shared the Grilled Spanish Octopus and the Grilled Peach and Burrata Salad to start. The Octopus was grilled nicely but unfortunately it was smothered in a sauce that really didn't add anything. The salad was very large, even to share for four, and very tasty with pears, strawberries, walnuts and a large chunk of burrata. Very nice dish. I had the Mediterranean Seabass Branzino and it was very good. A fairly large fish and cooked just right and with absolutely no bones. We finished with Turkish Pistachio Baklava and the Vanilla Ice Cream. That Baklava! Oh my! It's wonderful, so tasty. Ice cream was good too, very thick. We had good service from Hunter as well as the manager who stopped by several times. Very nice place and would return.

Lavender Cafe & Bistro is situated at the end of a strip mall that consists of a bunch of other restaurants. Hubby and I needed breakfast before we made the drive home to Fort Lauderdale. Nearly everything in the restaurant is lavender-colored, which speaks to my heart because purple is my favorite color. The restaurant is on the cozy side, so the tables are very close together so you can hear your neighbors conversations. This is the only downside of this restaurant, in my opinion. The service is very good. You can tell it is family owned and run, everyone helps each other out, and there is a manager (I think) that walks around to make sure everyone is happy and tables are bussed. I enjoyed the nice, strong shot of Turkish coffee and my hubby enjoyed the fresh-squeezed orange juice. Hubby and I both ordered the filet mignon eggs benedict, which was STELLAR. He said it was the best steak and eggs he's ever had, which is saying a lot for him. It was my first time, and I loved them. We then shared the "French Toast Tiramisu," which was scrumptious, but bore no resemblance to Tiramisu at all. It was light, fluffy French toast slices with fresh fruit, Belgian chocolate sauce, and a dollop of cream on top. Hubby said it's a good thing that we do not live nearby, because we would go there too often. Highly recommend!

We have driven by this little place so many times and had never thought to stop in. My husband finally looked it up and decided to surprise me with a brunch date here. From the moment I saw it I was loving the "lavender" theme, outdoor seating and small location. I was tempted to try multiple things on the menu but decided to go with the avocado toast and my husband chose the Mediterranean omelette. He also had a doppio espresso which was an extremely generous size. We were both surprised at how delicious his omelette was as it had never occurred to us to make an omelette with olives and feta cheese. It was the perfect balance. Full of flavor, light and delicious. My avocado toast was equally scrumptious topped with organic eggs and feta. My only suggestion would be to provide a serrated knife with the avocado toast to make it easier to cut. The staff was also very attentive and pleasant. We will definitely be back soon to try other items and enjoy the outdoor seating.

We came here for brunch on a Sunday. The staff created us immediately and offered us inside or outside seating. We ordered the lavender mimosas kit. They give you the whole bottle and keep in a chiller so you're not stuff with warm mimosas if you take awhile to enjoy your drinks. For food we went with the lavender pancakes and steak and eggs. The pancakes with light and fluffy. They had a nice lavender flavor that wasn't too over powering so felt like you were eating a garden. For dessert, we had the baklava which comes imported from turkey. It is by far one of the best baklava I have ever had. While we were enjoying our the meal owner came around and checked on all the tables and greet everyone.. All off the staff was very attentive. We would love to come back and try their dinner menu.

Beautiful Cafe with gluten free, dairy free options. We had the Shakshuka and Falafel plate. They had gluten free toast and avocado for our son available. They also have almond milk as dairy substitute for regular milk. The Shakshuka was a different version of the more traditional one, but tasty. Our waitress was very friendly and took great care of us! We really liked the service.

I must say this place was an absolute dream. A hidden little gem right outside of downtown with delicious mediterranean/french inspired dishes. We went for dinner and were so enthralled looking through the unique combination of dishes. The atmosphere was calming (assume that's given from the lavender lol) elegant, and beautiful. The brisket ravioli was a ratatouille grape and cheese moment. One of the best dishes I've had. Oh and service is fabulous!

It's a beautiful little cafe with beautiful decorations, delicious food and friendly staff. A must try if you are in the area. My friend and I decided to have brunch here before our day in Naples. We got seated right away when we got there and had the option to sit outside or inside. We opted to sit outside as it was a beautiful day. Our server was amazing. He was very friendly. The food was delicious. We ordered the Burrata and Basil toast, White Truffle oil Mushroom Bruschetta Toast, Lavender latte and a Lavender lemonade. My friend loved her Burrata Basil toast which had smashed Avocado, cherry tomato, Strawberry, Basil oil, balsamic glaze and organic baby mixed greens. My Mushroom Bruschetta was so delicious I devoured it. The combination of sautéed mushrooms and spinach with the right amount of truffle flavor, topped with parmesan cheese and poached eggs were to die for. The poached eggs were cooked to perfection. The Lavender latte was perfect pairing with my meal. I was skeptical to get it thinking the Lavender might overpower but it was perfectly balanced and enjoyed it very much. My friend loved her Lavender lemonade as well. We decided to get a light dessert at the end, the poached Pear with sweet cream, pistachio and Honey. It was the perfect ending to our meal. Just light and not too sweet.

An exceptional breakfast place. Everything we ordered was delicious. The eggs Benedict were some of the best I've had in a while. The omelette was large and tasty. They also make a great cappuccino. They are a stickler for reservations, even when the restaurant is nearly empty, so call ahead.

Heard they had some crazy sandwiches. Located inside a strip mall, parking was relatively easy. The decor inside was punk grunge style I would say. I asked for what their top sellers were and they directed me towards "The Twang". Which was sliced chicken breast with honey mustard, onions, American cheese and crushed bbq chips. I was told the way to get it was toasted and so that's how I got it. It was a good sandwich or hoagie but I'm not sure if maybe I'm spoiled from living in Miami but crushing chips and putting it on a sandwich is not what I would consider creative. And I thought $15 for a 12 inch without a soda or a side seemed a bit much. Staff were friendly and the place was clean. And hats off to whoever calibrated the soda machine. It was perfect balance of syrup and gas. Overall it's a good spot but nothing I would rave about.

After my experience on Thursday, February 12th, that's over. At 6:05 PM, I placed a small online order (mozzarella sticks, a calzone, and a sandwich) through their website, as I always do. Estimated pickup: 29 to 34 minutes. I arrived at 6:41 with my wife and kids in the car. Food wasn't ready, but "five more minutes." Fine. Five turned into twenty. Twenty turned into forty. During that time, I watched the staff take phone orders and quote every customer "20 to 25 minutes," no matter the order size. When I asked what the holdup was, the staff, who were genuinely doing their best, explained that new kitchen staff were struggling. My son was starving, so I left to grab him food elsewhere and came back about 30 minutes later, confident my order would be waiting. It wasn't. At 7:35 PM, ninety minutes after placing a three-item order, nothing was ready. I asked the staff why they were still quoting 20-minute turnarounds when the reality was 90+ minutes. I suggested they pause online ordering to let the kitchen recover. They told me the owner, Jared Grifoni, has instructed them to keep online orders on and to continue telling customers 20 minutes, despite knowing the kitchen is nowhere close to meeting that timeline. That's not a bad night. That's a policy decision to mislead customers for the sake of revenue. I requested a refund. As it was being processed, two of my three items finally came out. When the staff asked the kitchen about the last item, the answer was: "I have no idea when we'll get to that." I left at 7:46 PM, one hour and forty-one minutes after ordering. To be clear: the staff on the floor that night are not to blame. They were put in a no-win situation and handled it as well as anyone could. The issue is ownership making a conscious choice to overload the kitchen, deceive customers about wait times, and let the staff absorb the fallout. When I arrived, the restaurant was nearly full. When I left, it was almost empty. I won't be adding myself to either count again.

5+ Star Review for Mercato Italiano…read more From the moment you walk into Mercato Italiano, you know you have found something special. This is not just a café. It is an experience that brings authentic Italian flavor and warmth right into the heart of Naples. Let me start with the espresso. The flavor was rich, smooth, and perfectly balanced. You can taste the quality in every sip. It had that true Italian profile, bold but never bitter, and it set the tone for everything that followed. Now the food. I ordered a croissant sandwich, and it was nothing short of exceptional. The croissant itself was fresh out of the oven, light, flaky, and buttery in all the right ways. Inside, I had two sunny-side-up eggs cooked just right, paired with prosciutto, bacon, and ham. The combination of flavors was incredible. Every bite gave you a perfect mix of savory, rich, and slightly salty notes, all brought together by that warm, delicate croissant. What really stood out was the presentation. This was not just a sandwich thrown on a plate. It was carefully arranged on a platter, clean, inviting, and done with pride. You can tell they care about every detail. The atmosphere completes the experience. The energy inside is welcoming, relaxed, and full of character. It feels like a place where people come not just to eat, but to slow down, connect, and enjoy the moment. Whether you are stopping in for a quick espresso or sitting down for a full breakfast, the environment makes you want to stay. The experience was outstanding along with the service that made you feel like Family. If you are anywhere near Naples, this is a must-visit. Mercato Italiano delivers on flavor, presentation, and experience at the highest level. This is easily a 5-plus star spot, and a place I will return to again without hesitation.
