Here's a fresh new spot hot off the press! Debuting only a few months before writing this review, First Watch is immediately kicking ass and taking names in the food industry. Why are they called First Watch? Don't know! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ But if I had to guess.. I think it's because they put *you* first. They look out for your comfort as you dine amidst their cozy decor, enjoying some of the most refined breakfast, brunch, and lunch items this part of NH has seen in a while. At least....that's what the "You first" section of their homepage told me. Now, of course, wifey was the one to first mention this place to me as a breakfast date possibility. Apropos that, I took a gander at their Yelp page. And despite them having only 15 photos of their menu items, I was immediately intrigued. I even knew what I wanted to try first. The Tri-Fecta®: The image alone sold me. Their waffles look golden crisp, yet light and airy. Accompanied only with the very best REAL maple syrup, it's the best damn waffle I've had in ages! This also comes with 2 eggs and choice of breakfast meats. Ya know I had to get the bacon extra crispy, of course. In keeping of plebeian fashion, I opted for the scrambled eggs this time. To say they were as velvety as crème fraiche would be underselling them. All they needed was a touch of seasoning and they were near perfect scrambled eggs. All in all, a 9 out of 10 for me. Highly recommended to all. Wifey got the same thing, only with a pancake and eggs over-hard. Sufficed to say, it was quite the delectation. I added a side of the seasoned home fries to mine because I was curious. They tasted great, but were also big enough to feed at least 2.5 persons. Needless to say, I took the rest home to accompany another homemade breakfast for a different day. Yeah...they were THAT good! Oh, quick side note: I asked about the "Million Dollar Bacon" since there isn't really a description on the menu. The server told us it was, like...Maple bacon with some sort of candy sprinkled on top? I don't really get it, but I'm sure there's some 7 year-old out there ordering this and having the time of their life at their parents' expense and dismay. XD Service was naturally sublime, as was the decor. It really has a classic, woodland New England vibe. That's the best way I can describe it, but hopefully you get what I'm trying to say. Also on full display here is their contemporary nature. You can scan-to-pay tableside via QR code which invariably means Apple and Google Pay are alive and well here; always a huge plus in my book! Public Wi-Fi is available, but also unsecured so....highly recommend using a VPN if you're doing personal transactions and whatnot. Overall, an experience most divine that's worth repeating many times over. I have my eyes set on an omelet situation next visit, though....I'm not seeing any options for customizing. Breakfast menu includes a delicious lemonatta pancakes and a pot of refillable coffee. Attentive service by the waitresses. I would recommend wearing a long sleeve shirt since their A/C is set low but otherwise the place is new and fresh. We have dined here twice on weekdays and will return again. read more

Had breakfast here on a Saturday and was worried that they might be too busy/crowded. With the online waitlist, we were seated shortly after arriving and, despite it being pretty busy, they had a lot of servers on hand to accommodate the crowd. The decor is nice and everyone was very friendly. My daughter and I got the lemon ricotta pancakes and my husband got the chorizo omelette. The pancakes were really moist and flavorful, especially with the yummy lemon curd on top. My husband liked his omelette, but he said he wished it had more chorizo. Our server was excellent. I like that they leave a carafe of coffee on your table - saves time asking for refills. The coffee was delicious! I also appreciated that the bill was divided by each person's order. They have a great menu with lots of choices, so we'll be back to try other dishes. read more

I am SO excited that there's a first watch in Nashua!! The food is absolutely bomb for a chain - do yourself a favor and get the million dollar bacon! Both their non alcoholic coffees and alcoholic beverages are pretty darn good as well. The service was a little slow, but since they opened more recently I expected that. Our server was very sweet, and though it can get loud when busy (it was on the Sunday morning we went) the interior vibe is fresh, modern, and fun - definitely worth looking into if you're wanting a solid brunch option. read more

New restaurant here in Nashua, we decided to do a breakfast run to check it out. Plenty of room inside with nice atmosphere, being new everything was nice and clean. They had just started their new fall menu and it all looked great but I was looking forward to a Chili Chorizo omelet and it was very well prepared and tasted great. Came for the first time this morning and was pleasantly surprised. Very clean, peaceful aesthetic. Sat at the bar solo and loved my strawberry tres leches French toast and coffee. The iced coffee was a little too sweet for me and the waitress graciously switched it out for me. Super professional and will definitely be back. read more

stopped by for breakfast on a saturday morning. went to the front desk and someone took my name and number, was informed the wait was about 45 minutes. we went outside and received a text to go to the hostess to be seated.... logistics were sent there yet. ambience is modern and new. the service is fast throughout and they will rush to get you out as there was a line. we ordered the lemon ricotta pancakes to share and each had a benedict, one classic ham and one BLT. pancakes had good flavoring and was on the dry side, pancake crumbled. the benedict's were good. eggs were poached perfectly. bread under was on the harder side. got a lavender lemonade and was good. will return to try other dishes. hopefully they will have ironed out the kinks by then. read more

She didn't ask me. if my breakfast food was good. She never came over last I wanted anything else to drink. I came here the other day for the first time I heard all great things and they were right. Everything was delicious. I was very happy. Service was great. Everything was clean and beautiful inside. Our server Melinda was nice. The food was good, however my husband had scrambled eggs and Bacon. Did know they came with scallions which he is allergic to. So it took sometime before we saw a waitress to help us. So they made a new breakfast for him. Servers should be asking about any allergies. As the menu did not say scallions. The place was busy and it felt like they needed more staff. I had the Lemon Ricotta pancakes which I also had in Atlanta and knew I had to have those again. YUMMY! I've always wanted to try First Watch, but the closest one was Boston, so I was really excited to finally have one here in Southern New Hampshire! The atmosphere was peaceful with calming décor that made it feel very welcoming. The food was incredible and the portions were great for the price. We got the Tri-Athlete Omelet and the combo with the waffle, and everything was delicious. The warm syrup was such a nice touch, and the bacon was the kind that practically melts in your mouth! Our food came out really quickly, and the staff were all friendly and wonderful. I even joined the rewards program while we were there! We'll definitely be back with family and friends. read more

Very disappointing. I was thrilled it was in Nashua now cuz I always went to the Florida one for years. We waited for the waitress to clean our table and she never came back for us. She seated other people there! I called her out on it and she said no I didn't. I said oh yes you did. Then we finally got seated the waitress acted like she was doing us a favor waiting on us. This was a different waitress. Then after taking our order and knowing my allergy, she came back and said it would be difficult to feed me! I am gluten and dairy free. She just couldn't be bothered to double check. So on the way out I see the manager and I speak to him about it. He wanted my name and number, insisted he would check it out. Finally I agree. Give it to him, he said he would call me the next day, and invite us to a meal. I said oh I wasn't looking for anything for free. Just to let you know since you are brand new. Tried the basic breakfast. Everything was so over salted couldn't eat. Ketchup couldn't help. Everything, eggs, bacon, potatoes. Bread for toast was heavy and not toasted. Ordered eggs over easy, one over easy one hard. The orange juice was good, fresh squeezed. read more

Went in today (Saturday morning) about 930, place was not that busy we were greeted fairly quick and sat quickly as well, server was fine, not overly friendly, but what was annoying was we ordered a kids meal with a scrambled egg that came out more like an omelet, which isn't a huge deal, but for a kid the look of something can be a make or break deal if they eat it. It also came with cold toast no butter. Overall the rest of the food was also on the cold side when we got it. For not being too busy that was a bummer. Overall, I would not be gunning to come back here which is a bust cause I was looking forward to a decent place other than friendly toast that has morning adult beverages:) read more

I came in for breakfast. It's a beautiful looking building with waitstaff running around frantically. The menu is overly convoluted and they don't offer you any choices in anything unless you specifically ask. Ordering iced coffee was also problematic. Ordering it I just calling it iced coffee and what came out was something that looked like a cup of cream... After I waited 15 minutes for a waitress to return I asked if it was just black iced coffee and they said oh you mean cold brew? It's still iced coffee I said. This goes back to the convoluted menu and not asking questions. All that was only worsenes when I received my like warm omlet. It was my first time here likely my last. read more

I was excited to try this place. So were many, many others! There was a 90m wait at 9:45am. It's all good, we killed time in the surrounding stores. My two stars comes down to the food... everything was wildly over salted - like maybe mistakenly so? The potatoes, the bacon, the pancakes, even the french toast! Everything tasted of heavy salt, which made it borderline inedible. I could recognize that the flavor potential was there, but unfortunately none of us could bear the salt. I'm not sure if there was a new heavy handed cook or if that was intentional, but it was disappointing. There were other off things, like a burnt biscuit, a hair in someone's potatoes, waiting 10m for a straw to drink an iced coffee, etc. These things I wouldn't even mention honestly if the food held up. Bottom line - maybe they are working out the kinks still. But I'm not sure we'll be going back. read more
