4 of us were seated immediately around 8:45 on a Saturday morning. ATMOSPHERE: Warm, fun, comfy diner feel with loads of memorabilia. It was buzzing with people the entire time but as it is roomy inside, I never saw anyone having to wait. SERVICE: Adrienne took wonderful care of us, keeping coffee topped off and making sure we had everything we needed. FOOD: Good, solid diner food, fresh ingredients. One pancake was the size of the entire dish, could have used a few more chocolate chips. The campora omlet good, would be made better with something savory added or maybe more garlic/onion spice. Home fries were tasty, grilled english muffin excellent. The corned beef hash is crunchy, preference is for the beef to be a bit softer. The bill can be paid with credit card, but the tip must be in cash. Plenty of parking. Beware, if going during winter, the entrance walkway is barely shoveled, we had issues getting a walker through as one side was a very thick layer of ice, so a tricky entrance and exit. I'd recommend they put way more ice melt down near the entrance and chip away at that ice to prevent falls. The parking lot was nice and clear. read more

Friendly place on the MA/NH border near the Pheasant Lane Mall. Doesn't look like a diner from the outside, but inside it has the typical bright red booths and 1950s-era knick knacks (mostly Betty Boop). Many omelettes and benedicts. Many melts at lunch. One breakfast visit and one lunch visit. "The Master" Omelette: This was my wife's, with a bunch of different vegetables, and she said it was good but "normal." So nothing special but definitely solid. -- "The Dream": My breakfast item, which they recommend for hungry eaters like myself, included two eggs, two bacon strips, two sausage patties, homefries, and two silver dollar pancakes. - - Eggs: Scrambled nicely and seemed like more than two. - - Sausage: Patties like McDonalds, but hotter, crisper, fresher. - - Bacon: Very thin (so thin I got 3 by mistake), very crisp, and very cured. Delicious. - - Homefries: A little on the plain side, with not much crusting or seasoning. - - Pancakes: Bigger than silver dollar, soft, but not fluffy. Nothing memorable, but just like my wife's omelette, solid. -- Patty Melt: It's listed on their online menu, and not on the paper one you get at the restaurant, but they still happily make them. The bread got a really good griddle and good buttery crunch, but wasn't the traditional rye. The onions were sautéed nicely. Little to no Russian dressing. The beef was perfectly cooked to medium rare and quite juicy. So overall, not ideal, but still satisfying. -- Fries: Came with the Patty Melt. The "coated" kind I despise, but crisp and hot. Note: You can pay the bill by credit card, but the servers must be paid in cash. That seems to be a decision by ownership, and it's a little awkward, but no problem if you plan ahead. Upon entering the diner I simply loved the atmosphere. The server was so attentive and topping up my coffee. On this super hot day, I was heading for the seating in front of the grill, my favorite spot, always in diners, she suggested I use a booth instead as it was already hot in that area. After years of wanting to try this diner we finally went. The place is nicely decorated in the diner theme, we were seated quickly. The wait staff was well trained and hustled including the owner. Cleanliness was top notch and I appreciated seeing the staff use hand sanitizer after handling money. The Cons: The food was just ok, and brought to me cold. The pastrami in the omelet could have been cut up a bit rather than large stringy pieces. 3 other tables that came in after us were served their food before we were served ours. My husband and I went to Dream Diner over Memorial Day weekend, and it was fantastic! The place was packed, with a line going out the door. While we were waiting outside, the owner came over to say hello and even apologized for the wait. He offered to bring us coffee while we stood in line, which was such a thoughtful touch. Once we were seated, the excellent service continued--everyone was friendly, welcoming, and smiling. The banana French toast special was incredible, and my husband especially loved their huge cinnamon buns. Great people and amazing food! We'll definitely be going back again this weekend! read more

My wife and I finally made it over to Dream Diner for the first time and were glad we did. Even with it being noon time we opted for breakfast. I had my usual Irish Benedict and it was excellent. The eggs were perfectly poached with runny yolks and the nicely crisped up corned beef hash was very tasty, as was the Hollandaise. The homefries were nicely done but could have used some onions. My wife had the traditional Benedict and absolutely loved the thick slice of their signature fresh ham. Service was excellent. We will surely be going back. read more

This little diner was in between for me. The servings are average sized, but the breakfast food was definitely nothing that blows you out of the water, just run of the mill breakfast. HOWEVER... BRIGET our waitress was the best part of our breakfast. She is the kindest sweetest lady you'll ever meet for a waitress. She makes sure you are comfortable and she gets to know you and talk with you a bit, she gives the place a very homey and warm vibe. She was so pleasant and gave us little cards that said "Bridget's VIP section". I should have looked at the recent review ratings before coming here! Our experience was subpar. Food was an A- and service was a B-. So in summary, I would say our experience was a B+ but only because of the diner food. We ordered: -coffees -single blueberry pancake -master omelet which comes with a side of potatoes and wheat bread -side of bacon -french toast Our order was taken right away which was great. Food also came out fast. But service itself was subpar. Our waitress was NOT friendly and barely could smile. In fact it felt like we were bothering her with our presence at the diner which is a horrible feeling especially when you are paying for your own meal. Our waitress came to our table about five times in five minutes to check on us. Not sure what would change in that short amount of time. At one point it felt like she was talking about us with the other waitresses who were all huddled together in the front of the diner whispering and staring. Maybe it's better if you are a regular here? Anyway, we've been coming here for years. More frequently when we were younger. But post Covid this establishment has weird vibes and we probably won't ever come back. Or if we do we will bring more people with us to witness the service weirdness but gobble up the yummy food :) Also, note the recent reviews saying this establishment is 5 stars are coming from first time Yelpers who have a small amount of reviews written on their pages and are not long time Yelpers who eat out frequently and have experience with what constitutes as good service. Really great experience first time going. I got a really cool eggs Benedict made with meatloaf in honor of my mother that was her favorite breakfast meal. My other half got sausages and eggs and toast, which is a standard favorite but he still likes to try each place he goes. The coffee was never ending. The waitress was absolutely fantastic. She was right on top of things kept the coffee and the water filled was very friendly, she had been there before to work but I've gone away for a few years and has just come back like in the last year. On a recent trip to the Diner, our order was delivered completely wrong, when fixed, one person's toast came a full five minutes after the rest of their meal. Food was very good. While my friend was finishing their toast, we were told that if we wanted to "chat" we would have to be moved to a different table. Classic diner set up with lots of booths and a counter overlooking the cook area. Hugh variety of food and drink items on the menu. And they also offer adult beverages.
