Caro (our server) was great! We had been here once before so we had an idea about the menu. Caro helped with suggestions and made the experience a truly better one. We arrived a half hour before they closed for lunch time but were reassured that in no way that we had to hurry and leave. In fact others arrived after we did. Such a great experience. Now the food. It was all very amazing and delicious. The mimosas were outstanding as well. Love this place and recommend you try it when you're in the area. Thank you Ellie's Farmhouse - Methuen

It was good and my first time going was on Father's Day . It was packed I got lucky and got a nice server very attentive . Her name is Alisse. Pictures speak for themselves so I'll post what we got . My boyfriend got the chicken and waffles and I did a breakfast platter . Very clean also. Hope it never changes cause when you have a first good experience the first time you go again and alot can change so I will update for sure !

Ellie's Farmhouse Sometimes when a 35 minute wait turns into an hour it's because a place is awesome. Sometimes it's a massive letdown. Today was the latter and my first negative review. We tried out Ellie's for the first time. The eggs were supposed to be over medium and were didn't even make it to over easy. They were super runny and the whites weren't fully cooked. They were more like under easy and the peppers and onions were crunchy / not cooked. We did like the sausage and bacon and the French toast was ok enough but definitely skip the hash browns too. Unseasoned and bland. Add in that the woman seating people seemed to hate her life. It came off rude to many how she was directing people to the back waiting area "I can't have you all here" We are for sure "one and done" and after I typed this all out it hit me they're technically in Methuen but darn it, I am still gonna post it. We tried to decline a GC from the manager as we won't be going back but she brought one anyway. We won't use it.

Per usual there was a wait here which was totally fine as it went by very quickly. They now have a waiting area which we didn't go to but it's there. The restaurant wasn't overwhelmingly packed and we can hear each other speak. It's pretty cozy in there and I like the rustic design. I had brunch here and I stuck with the chicken and waffles as my first time trying this combo was here, and it did not disappoint so I stuck to what I know. One of my companions went for the farmhouse platter, which came with crispy tots and sausage links. The tots were a definite highlight (blast to my childhood so good). Another friend ordered the avocado toast, and unfortunately, that was a bit underwhelming. The avocado wasn't seasoned at all, which made it pretty bland. Also, toast should be toasted, but this was soggy from the get-go, which was a bit of a letdown. I tried their cold brew flight, flavors: creme brulee, cookies and cream, pumpkin pie, and Baileys. All four flavors were great, but my favorite was definitely the cookies and cream. Our server was attentive for the most part. It's worth a visit.

Best breakfast from a restaurant I ever had. Everything tasted great and fresh. Leah made us feel at home, thats really all you want out of service and being from a different state. Everything was clean especially the restrooms!!!

We tried Ellie's on a Saturday morning around 9:30 am. I was convinced we were going to end up waiting but we were seated right away by a super friendly hostess who greeted us right away. I was immediately in love with the decor! There is a little rustic bar area if you don't want to wait for a table & we talked about how we wanted to try it out next time we came We ordered a coffee with kahlua & almond milk & something called a wake up special or something like that! It was coffee milk chocolate & something else - over ice. So good!! I decided I need to try one of the flights they have next time. Out server, Brandon, was incredibly kind & friendly - and patient! We literally had no idea what we were ordering and he calmly explained things to us. I'm fairly impatient so I was impressed with how calm he was. Everything he brought to us was done in a good time frame. We never waited long for anything Food was amazing! The omelette is packed with fresh ingredients & the home fries were good - I do wish they would add onion or peppers but I get that's not everyone's thing We also got one of their breakfast platters that included homemade blueberry pancakes. They were so delicious! The only downfall to all of this was that we were seated near the back near the restrooms, which was a very busy walking area for us. But that didn't deter from the amazing food & service We will definitely be back & try the bar next time!

On the run we needed a quick lunch. Ellie's was close to our location. They offer on-line ordering through their website, but by the time I entered my CC info, we'd be there, so I called in the order instead hoping to speed up the process a bit. The gentleman we spoke to was pleasant and efficient. Took my name and phone number for the order and done. Located in a strip mall I notice at the end of the building is a set of doors for "Ellie's To-Go" and figured that's gotta be for take away orders. And it is! There are several designated "to go" parking spots just past that entrance. The "to-go" area is a good size with a counter/order area to one side and a long dining counter and stools on the opposite side. Plenty of 'standing room' to wait for your order here as well. We paid for our order in this area and the woman who assisted us went to see if it was ready. We expected to wait as we had *just called it in. In short order the gentleman we spoke to on the phone arrived with our order. Yay! We both enjoyed our sandwiches. The reuben is tender, thin sliced meat. The saurkraut on there had a nice level of vinegar tang that doesn't overwhelm. The house made 1000 island dressing complements and brings the whole thing together nicely. I ordered the chips as my side and am very pleased by the brand they use. Good chips. The interior looks very nice and if we find ourselves in the area again with more time will definitely stop for a dining-in experience.

Adorable diner experience! We started with the banana bread which was very tasty. We also loved the chicken and waffles, veggie bowl, and pancakes. The Laguna Bennie was pretty good too. Very fast and friendly service!

We had a party of 7 and we were very excited to finally try Dreo. We started with 2 orders of the calamari and the spinach dip special. My husband noticed the calamari also had shrimp which I am allergic to. They happily removed the shrimp but unfortunately it's fried in the same oil (which is completely logical) but everyone at our table (besides me) throughly enjoyed the calamari. I cannot even begin to explain how good the spinach dip was. I'm not sure I'll have want to eat spinach dip without garlic bread again!!! Next up entrees: 2 ribeyes, 1 NY strip, 1 Korean BBQ Bowl, 1 Soy Maple Glazed Salmon, and 1 Tuscan Fried Chicken. I am newly pregnant and to be honest I was not looking forward to eating out because my go to is rib eye but I refuse to eat well done meat so instead I ordered the Tuscan fried chicken. I also asked to sub the mashed potatoes for truffle fries and the veggie medley for green beans. They had no problems with my requests which I loved. I loved every single bite of my chicken and I actually stopped caring that I was missing on steak! In fact every single person at our table loved everything they ate too. We ended our meal with cookie skillets and again absolutely delicious! Now our meal was fantastic by itself but I have to say our waiter Brett was just as amazing!! He couldn't have done a better job and he totally rolled with our parties over the top personalities. Even if the food wasn't outstanding we'd go back just for the service! I really hope of the owners or managers see this; Brett is fantastic and deserves praise!! We will definitely be back and since I still have about 7 and half months to go I will be coming back for more Tuscan fried chicken soon!!

Their parking lot is very spacious so that made it extra convenient. We were greeted as soon as we entered and were brought to the bar area. Our server Joel promptly greeted us and took our drink order. When it came to appetizer, we were going to go with guacamole and chips. Joel asked us if we wanted a recommendation and he suggested getting the guacamole with chicharron. I was not sure about it but was glad we went for it. The pork rind added a different taste experience and I'm glad I tried it. For my main course, I went with carne asada. My steak was perfectly cooked and tender. Rice and beans were good. For dessert, we wanted to try their churros. Neither one of us was impressed with our shared dessert. So probably wouldn't order churros again. There was lively music playing in the background. Place wasn't very busy and service was great.
