First time dining at First Watch. Had tried once, after waiting an hour, we left. Service was alright, asked for straws twice and only got them when I asked the 3rd time while I was paying at the register. It's cool that the waitstaff will bring a pot of complimentary coffee when you get seated. I have to say they put too much ice in their fresh juices. It's 'fresh' so all that ice quickly watered down the drinks. The tropical sunrise is basically a strawberry lemonade, not what I was expecting, couldn't notice any mango in it. Even the kale tonic was really sour. The waffle really isn't worth the cost. The kale salad was nice and fresh but I forgot to ask for dressing to be on the side. The skillet hash was pretty good. I've been to first watch plenty of times but while vacationing on our last day we decided to stop here for breakfast. It was pretty busy so we had a 15 minute wait. Nice hearty breakfast place. Everything we ate was delicious. We had million dollar bacon, breakfast tacos, sausage and gravy with eggs and potatoes, eggs Benedict, and the ham and Gruyère omelette. It was all so scrumptious. Some of the potatoes were a little hard but still tasty. Great quality ingredients are being used. Server was very nice. Nice cute vibe. Only complaint was that the water cups weren't that clean. They put them on the dishwasher, but there was something stuck on two of the 4 water cups we had. Try to visit before going for the first time with a date. Although I had ordered from this location multiple times, I had never visited in person. I took my date for breakfast and she left hungry cause she barely ate. My drink-morning meditation NEVER disappoints. It has that super healthy flavors, so don't expect any juicy flavors or tequila sunrise feeling ;) For my breakfast I ordered an omelette (the works) and potatoes. The omelette although great portion and lots of everything, it seeme bland. It was just an egg eith all the ingredients inside of it (instead of IN it). The potatoes were bland and unseasoned. Same thing on my dates' side. The bread eas supposed to be brioche bun, and it was just regular burger bread. The service can improve as well. I waited more than 10 minutes for napkins and straw. We pre tty much order the same thing at each restaurant, multigrain pancakes, egg whites for me and oatmeal and muffin for my wife. Today's visit was disappointing because it's not the first time, egg whites delivered and pancakes were delayed so I ate the whites while I waited, and waited. My wife's oatmeal was so thick it required liquid to soften it and naturally the milk was cold so that wasn't great. Both of these issues have happened before. While the server apologized she did not offer to make any adjustments and because we did eat everything we didn't feel comfortable asking her. When we went to pay the cashier never bothered to ask how our meal or satisfaction was. I would have only shared this review with the restaurant owners so they do review of their kitchen but this is one of the few restaurants that fail to ask for a review on their receipt....that begged me to wonder why ! read more

A server by the name of Riley brought out our food. My elderly grandmother ( who is a saint )informed her that she received the wrong order, instead of apologizing she SNATCHED the plate out of her hand took the entire tables food back to the kitchen (& did god knows what) Had someone else bring back our food as she could see we where visibly upset with her reaction to a senior citizen. I expressed how upset I was to the server that brought our food back and she did apologize, but she also went back to Riley to let her know how we felt and in true server fashion, they laughed about it which is fine I get it I was a server once before and it's miserable to say the least. They are consistently good and their menu variety and seasonal items are always spot on! I'm not much of a breakfast person to begin with but First Watch makes me want to be one. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Pancakes are usually a go to and big enough for two people or one very hungry person. I recently enjoyed their brisket burrito which had my tastebuds singing. Their claim to fame is they only use the freshest ingredients and you can certainly tell! The only downside of going here is that they ALWAYS seem to be busy so do yourself a favor and RSVP in advance. read more
