I think it could get full on weekends especially when ASU is back in session, but there are other parking lots nearby. I really liked the vibe inside this location, including their amazing chalk board that mentions their current seasonal selections, shoes Sun Devil pride, reps #BLM, and mentions Yelp reviews! Wooo So I had to get some of the new seasonal dishes, including a drink! The Watermelon Wake-Up was the perfect balance of fresh fruit with fresh mint. The Elote Mexican Street Corn Hash had amazing charred corn, and the sauce on top was to die for. This whole dish was great, the only thing I would change is the hash component to be more crispy with smaller potato pieces. You HAVE to get some Million Dollar Bacon if you come, either for yourself or to share!! read more

Came here for breakfast while in town and we enjoyed everything we had. We ordered a Works Omelette, Bacado Omelette, and Red Medicine juice drink. Not huge omelettes like you might find at a "diner" or greasy spoon-type restaurant, but they were both pretty good, and we didn't really expect large portions since the restaurant leans more towards the healthier side. The Red Medicine drink tasted good. The restaurant had a nice, relaxing vibe inside, and it seemed like there was plenty of seating inside, and a few tables outside. It was very busy though, and service was a little slow - the food took a while to come and we had some issues in trying to flag down our server. Also, on one of our orders, we had asked for potatoes instead of the salad and we both received side salads. They did fix that by bringing us some after we brought it to a different server's attention. Parking could be an issue in the small lot of the restaurant but there is street parking and plenty of parking at the Chik Fil A across the street. Food's great, ambience not so much. Loud and busy, even for a week day. Children screaming with families was not it for me.

We walked in and we're seated right away. The restaurant wasn't busy. We sat at the table for 10 mins and no one came to greet us, Take an order. Nothing. The server came to the table next to us and was very attentive to them. She didn't even make eye contact with us. We tried to get her attention but to no avail. Perhaps they were short handed, but at least acknowledge your customers and say you'll be with them shortly. We ended up leaving. I dropped my fiancé off at the door while I parked so she came in right before the morning rush and then asked to be seated at a booth if possible, at this request the little host boy lead her next to a booth and then sat her at a table, then went up to the main stand again to laugh and giggle with other hosts about the fun he just had, setting terrible mood for breakfast. Then our server (one of his giggle companion's ) waited on us and we watched multiple other people seat and get drinks before us, forgotten corner or otherwise I can't say. The service here was great. The server made sure the refillable iced tea was refilled timely. And she also brought the last one in a to go container which was unexpected. I got the morning meditation juice. Loved the flavor of the ginger and turmeric in it. The orange, lemon, agave, and beets all worked well together to give it a tangy and delicious flavor combination. Got the ham and gruyere cheese omelette and it was good. Not much you can do with an omelette but it was good. Would have been better if it had more cheese but then again I do love my cheese!!! Choose the potatoes as the side and it was the diced potatoes with onions and it was good. Crispy and crunchy and seasoned well. First impression walking in we felt unwanted and not welcome and we overheard the host talking about how everyone is jealous of her. Parking can be a challenge here but don't let that deter you as it's worth it. Once inside we found plenty of seating and the friendliest staff. Our server Marissa had a cheerful demeanor and a great smile and made us feel welcome. Portions are generous and prices reasonable. The 2 for You lunch is a good deal; the Monterey Club Sandwich was delicious and stuffed with moist turkey, but the citrus chipotle dressing on the Chicken Avocado Chop Salad was overly tart and overpowered the other ingredients. The Sweet Honey Pecan Salad is a better option. The Ham & Gruyère Melt Sandwich was also a hit with our party, as was the Butternut Squash Soup. Always been a fan of First Watch, they are literally popping up everywhere, so I get excited when I see one :-) Let me start off by saying, there is FREE parking for the restaurant on the side and in the back. Phoenix heavily uses metered parking, so this was a plus. Walked in around noon-ish and was seated right away. It wasn't crowded, and it was very nice and clean inside. The staff was great, they attended to us right away and the food didn't take too long to come out. They have Gluten Free and Vegan options for those with restricted diets. I had the Gluten Free French toast, with their delicious Million Dollar Bacon on the side. Another thing I love about First Watch is the freshness of the food and the drinks. They have cold pressed drinks that are delicious, none of that syrupy stuff and they provide Pure Maple Syrup as well. It's just the freshness for me, I hope more breakfast and brunch restaurants catch onto this. Went back twice already and will visit next time I'm in the Phoenix area as well. read more

The place was nice staff were nice my main complaint is the food we Had a party of 4 my husband ordered "the works omelet" it came out over seasoned on one side and bland on the other. He found two whole mushrooms in his omelet while the rest was sliced. The omelet was so thin as if it's a crepe. The potatoes that came with it were undercooked and salty. I ordered the tomatoe soup , sunny side up eggs , and million dollar potatoes. The tomatoes soup was salty and lukewarm as if it was sitting there for a while. The eggs were decent you can't go wrong with eggs but the potatoes were salty the white sauce they put on top was bland the saltiness and the burnt taste was all I can taste eating it. The bacon was your normal store bought bacon with the million dollar seasoning on it. The bacon was over cooked and burnt, same with the onions that came with them it was all burt!! Coffee sucks but I was expecting it. Over all I do not recommend going to this place at all!! Save your pocket some money and go to a better place with better portions. read more

First of all, I love the Yelp waitlist and that they actually use it. I think it's great for customers to use. Plus, their parking lot is quite small so you can add yourself to the list while you find a spot or maybe you're gonna need to walk over. At least there's no fret on waiting longer than needed to be seated. Second, thank you for leaving a pot of coffee! Typically, I judge brunch spots based on my mug being full of coffee throughout my meal. Why don't more places leave a small ot at the table?! Plus it was great coffee. My bf also loved that they had raw sugar packets. I noticed they had Silk coffee creamers in their creamer bowl too. I drink mine black though, thank you. Third, there are options for vegetarians and what I ordered, I absolutely loved. I love to cook and I was trying to figure out how they cook their side of potatoes so perfectly. Omg, I described them as creamy mashed potato cubes. The mix of vegetables and goat cheese in my Market Skillet was simple, but so good. I loved it. My bf ordered the chickamanga (spelling?); in other words a chicken chimichanga. A genius cooked it though because it wasn't really a chimichanga (a fried burrito). The filling was wrapped in egg and corn tortilla. That's all I'm going to say; it's indescribable. My bf cleaned his plate. It was his favorite meal of the weekend. Those lucky ASU kids. We came at around 0745am and we were seated right away. The restaurant was not busy when we arrived. There is outdoor seating available here. We ordered a pitcher of sangria as well and I ordered a blackberry iced tea. I was given regular iced tea, which is fine. Our breakfast was brought over around 0815 so it was brought out quickly. The blueberry pancake was very good and had a nice blueberry topping with it. The Chickichanga was okay, it definitely could use a little more spice, but that is just personal preference. The potatoes are seasoned and cooked very well. Our server rushed us and brought our check over only about 15 minutes after our breakfast was brought to us. We were planning on ordering another sangria, but didn't because our server l left our check at our table and then left us there. We had to flag him down to get boxes to take our orders home. I honestly don't think I would've tried this place if it wasn't for a giftcard from my friend. I ordered the farmhouse hash with scrambk3d eggs. The description from their menu reads "two cage-free eggs any style atop fresh, seasoned potatoes, bacon, avocado, house-roasted onions and tomatoes, Cheddar and Monterey Jack. Served with whole grain artisan toast." I asked for no onions please and the waitress told me it was part of it and could not be taken out. Yuck! I think its the texture for me but when I got my dish it looked good but then I soon found myself picking out little bits of onions and that is what killed it for me. I just don't like onions but I wanted to try something new besides a usual pancake or bacon, eggs, potatoes, toast. My mistake! I ate what I could picking out onions but I wasnt wowed by this breakfast place and think they should have options of onions or not. My boyfriend finished my breakfast because I didnt want it and he doesn't like to waste food. Our check also took quite some time to get to us. I would not come back. read more

The hollandaise on the eggs was scrumptious. I wish there was more, but it would have added more calories. The Florentine included fresh baby spinach, avocado, and vine ripened tomato. The tomato was a slice rather than diced. My friend went for the tri-athlete entree. I liked the fresh fruit that came with her meal. There was blackberries, purple grapes, pineapple, blueberries, and honey dew. I liked that the restaurant was pretty quiet and the service was quick.
