The best catfish in the valley! I have been here several times and always impressed with the two brothers that do it ALL. The atmosphere is top notch and you are made to feel like family. Did I say the food is fantastic? Well, it is along with great service. This is a great place to have a get together with family and friends.

I tried Twin Locos Kitchen for the first time shortly after they opened over the summer and this spot feels reminiscent of the Midwest. On my visit I ordered the 2-piece Fried Catfish with a side of collard greens, and let me tell you, I'd absolutely get it again (and did). Next time, I'll ask for the catfish to be fried hard (and did, but I don't think they fried it hard), just how I like it. Still, it was flavorful and satisfying. The collard greens had a surprise spicy kick (not listed on the menu), and I was so here for it. The whole meal tasted like my family was in the kitchen cooking, comforting, soulful, and made with care. Service was top-notch. The twins were incredibly attentive and accommodating, which made the experience even better. I'll be back soon (and did). Twin Locos is serving up love on a plate.

My sister and I saw this place while in the area. We checked for reviews, but didn't see any pics here on yelpy, so we thought we'd check it out. We learned this restaurant recently opened and is ran by two brothers, The Twins, who are really cool. One greeted us upon entry. The other came by after we were seated. One brought us water and took our order and the other brought us our food. The menu has a variety of choices...wings, sandwiches, burgers, pizza/flatbread, seafood, mac sides, nachos, desserts, breakfast, and drink. I tried the catfish and fries, which was very tastey. The food was cooked fresh and the catfish was catfish which is always a plus in my book. Portions and prices matched for what I ordered. The ambiance was nice with the tunes playing in the background while enjoying my meal. The women's restroom was tidy and dining area was clean. With great service, good food, and extended hours of operation the Twins should have much success.

This is what you will get if u get the lemon pepper wings and seasoned fries they are both the bomb

Yall when I say come get you some! You best come get some of this good food. We live nearby and have been in and out of frys that I said we are gonna try them today! And this was not a disappointment. Tried the Greens so good but a bit salty. Their burgers omg delicious I had the spicy burger and I ate it all and yall know Zee eats like a bird! They were so kind and greet you when you walk in granted it wasn't busy but it didn't stop them from going out of their way however they could. It's a big space nice and clean attached next to frys but your family will fit and they offer outside dinning. The food is good! I'll check this ova later I have to get to another one !!

Service was great and amazing to have somewhere new open late here in Tempe! The flavor of the fries and tenders were well seasoned and delicious. The mango habanero sauce was some of the best I've ever had! My only complaint was although I appreciated the nachos came separated to not get soggy, they were quite expensive for a gas station styled nachos ($10 for nachos just chips and cheese plus $1 for jalapeños) and the chips themselves were very stale. I would definitely go back for everything else, I think in a town with amazing nachos they should either step up their game or lower the price. Either way highly recommend!

This little "Gem" owned by 2 Brothers. Service was OUTSTANDING, FOOD OUTSTANDING Catfish and greens, OUTSTANDING Ambiance walked into to them jamming "CANDY RAIN" So for real.

The menu! Great selections & prices!

We're stopping in on a Sunday and ohmygosh we should've came way sooner! We pretty much had a choice to sit wherever & chose the high top with booth. The price for the food was great! We got 3 piece catfish w/ Mac & cheese plus greens! No complaints at all. I'm a Lolo's in Scottsdale kinda girl & they did not disappoint.i have no complaints from the food to the service!I wish more success to this establishment & it feels like a hidden gem so I pray for more exposure.

Pair that with some good tunes and a friendly staff, you're bound to spend the entire day there lol. Let's get to the food- Wings for the table- OK! Crispy, not saucy, just light and airy. It tasted slightly sweet with something else I can't place my finger on. French Toast with the grand mariner sauce- yes please and thank you! I did not taste the sauce, but the French toast tasted good. I had some egg whites and the chicken tenders with it. Not a fan of chicken tenders, but there's no substituting, so tenders it is. Mocktail with lemonade and ginger- I don't remember the name but that was quite refreshing. I would've opted for more ginger b/c I like it spicy , and it got the job done. My other homies had shrimp and grits, salmon croquettes. They enjoyed it. Shout out to our waiter Chance . Quite pleasant and had a great aura. He recommended some spots for us to see/explore and didn't rush us. I'd definitely return should I visit AZ again!

I also tried the fried seafood, and I have to shout out how impeccably clean the restaurant is -- no lingering seafood smell at all, which says a lot about their standards. I shared the shrimp and swai fish meal with my daughter because the portions are huge. The batter was crispy, reminding me of how my southern grandma used to fry hers. I have no clue how they get it so crispy without any grease! It was so tender, and the flavors were definitely there. We also enjoyed the fries and the coleslaw and both were delicious! I really like the seasonings they use. The best part was that after finishing, we didn't feel that "heaviness" you sometimes get from fried food, because you know we were talking about that too. We also really enjoyed the banana pudding! Also the music was on point, we were singing the whole time we ate. You can tell he actually cares about the dining experience and keeps up with his tables really well. Service alone was a 10 out of 10. Before coming in, we saw reviews complaining about a 20 minute wait for the food, but honestly that did not bother us because they let us know right away that the chicken is made fresh and would take around 15 minutes. If you know good fried chicken, you already know fresh chicken is worth the wait. I would rather wait a little longer for crispy, hot chicken than get something sitting under a heat lamp. And let me tell you, the chicken came out exactly how fried chicken should be. Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside, piping hot, and perfectly seasoned. The crunch had that fresh fry texture where you can actually hear it when you bite into it. For sides, I got the okra and mac and cheese. It was my first time trying fried okra and now I completely understand the hype. The seasoning on it was insanely good, especially paired with the Louisiana hot sauce. Definitely ask for the yellow peppers too because they add this juicy little pop of heat and crunch that takes the chicken to another level. Overall: 10 out of 10 service 10 out of 10 food 10 out of 10 atmosphere If you actually love fried chicken and appreciate fresh food made right, this spot is absolutely worth checking out.
