Stopped in around 1130 pm on a Friday night. The spot was empty but a few ppl came in and ordered to go while we dined in. It's kind of like a dimly lit lounge, all they need are some couches and hookah LOL. The bathrooms were also very clean. The food was made to order, so everything came out hot and fresh. We ordered 2pc catfish with mac n cheese, wings xtra crispy hot lemon pepper, an order of soul rolls and a side of greens. I appreciate that the sides were packaged in their own containers with lids, to take your leftovers home. The gentleman that was working solo dolo took our orders, made the food and helped everyone else simultaneously. Will definitely return for late night eats. read more

I tried Twin Locos Kitchen for the first time shortly after they opened over the summer and this spot feels reminiscent of the Midwest. On my visit I ordered the 2-piece Fried Catfish with a side of collard greens, and let me tell you, I'd absolutely get it again (and did). Next time, I'll ask for the catfish to be fried hard (and did, but I don't think they fried it hard), just how I like it. Still, it was flavorful and satisfying. The collard greens had a surprise spicy kick (not listed on the menu), and I was so here for it. The whole meal tasted like my family was in the kitchen cooking, comforting, soulful, and made with care. Service was top-notch. The twins were incredibly attentive and accommodating, which made the experience even better. I'll be back soon (and did). Twin Locos is serving up love on a plate. read more

Came in late night after a movie date and my date took me here... it was very romantic and the music was amazing and my server tre did a fantastic job at serving me, I didn't feel bothered or interrupted, and yet he was still able to make sure I had everything I needed, food was amazing I just had a long day and this was exactly what I needed. My sister and I saw this place while in the area. We checked for reviews, but didn't see any pics here on yelpy, so we thought we'd check it out. We learned this restaurant recently opened and is ran by two brothers, The Twins, who are really cool. One greeted us upon entry. The other came by after we were seated. One brought us water and took our order and the other brought us our food. The menu has a variety of choices...wings, sandwiches, burgers, pizza/flatbread, seafood, mac sides, nachos, desserts, breakfast, and drink. I tried the catfish and fries, which was very tastey. The food was cooked fresh and the catfish was catfish which is always a plus in my book. Portions and prices matched for what I ordered. The ambiance was nice with the tunes playing in the background while enjoying my meal. The women's restroom was tidy and dining area was clean. With great service, good food, and extended hours of operation the Twins should have much success. read more

And this was not a disappointment. Tried the Greens so good but a bit salty. Their burgers omg delicious I had the spicy burger and I ate it all and yall know Zee eats like a bird! They were so kind and greet you when you walk in granted it wasn't busy but it didn't stop them from going out of their way however they could. Service was great and amazing to have somewhere new open late here in Tempe! The flavor of the fries and tenders were well seasoned and delicious. The mango habanero sauce was some of the best I've ever had! My only complaint was although I appreciated the nachos came separated to not get soggy, they were quite expensive for a gas station styled nachos ($10 for nachos just chips and cheese plus $1 for jalapeños) and the chips themselves were very stale. I would definitely go back for everything else, I think in a town with amazing nachos they should either step up their game or lower the price. Either way highly recommend! read more

Used to frequent the last restaurant that was in this space so I thought I would check it out. It was dead empty. The receptionist ran to Fry's three separate times to get things they were out of while I waited for my order. Out of three beer fridges behind the bar there were a couple of shelves with beer. The hard liquor bottles were very empty. Just at a glance from that it doesn't seem like this business is prepared for business. 25 min later they brought my burger, fries and wings to go. For a $13 cheeseburger the portion was pretty small. It was a decent burger though. Nothing really worth coming back to. As a side note the music they had playing while I waited was great. Hope they can turn this place around would hate to see another restaurant go under. read more

I placed my order over the phone and was told it would be ready in 10 minutes. I showed up 10 minutes later and was told just another couple minutes. No problem, usually. Except I ended up waiting another 25 minutes for my food, after I arrived at the restaurant. Not only did I have to wait an additional 25 minutes after my food was supposed to be ready but the food was wildly overcooked. The late night side of this place is attractive but don't expect your food on time and don't expect the food to be good. read more

Honestly one of the worst experiences I've had yet. From the moment we walked in, the service was slow and unorganized. We waited way too long for the food and it took way too long to be acknowledged. and it didn't get any better after that, I specifically told staff no onions because I was allergic and once I got my plate it was filled with onions and when I asked them to fix the problem they didnt put any effort in fixing their problem. Staff was unorganized, place was unorganized and clearly wasn't a safe environment for staff nor costumers. What I think are the owners were fighting with their staff and yelling at them infront of us. Felt really bad for the poor girl because it wasn't her fault. even though the food took too long there was no one in the restaurant, food lacked flavor and presentation, also sounded like a bunch of teenagers fighting in the back for one plate even though they are grown adults. overall not worth your time nor money, I definitely will not be coming back here, and I wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for a decent dinning place. read more

My parents visited this establishment today and the service they received was absolutely ridiculous. The waiter/OWNER clearly knows nothing about customer service. After my parents responded to his question, "how was everything?" honestly and respectfully, he got upset and began ignorantly shouting at them and even made some very ugly remarks. The food could be great, but with this kind of service this establishment will not prosper. If you're going to ask your paying customers their opinion, you should be ready to receive their honest answer, regardless of how you feel, and not argue with them about it. My elderly parents have lived in this area for over 60 years and have NEVER been treated the way they were today, by the owner of the restaurant. I do not appreciate the disrespect. I got a burger an fries with a drink for $20 and the fried catfish for $20 with drink and fries . They forgot both of the fries an drinks . Catfish is good . The food was so good! I had a bacon cheeseburger, fries and fruit punch Kool Aid. Yes, I said Kool Aid! The hamburger was a juicy 1/2 inch thick, well done, but not dry and the bacon was freshly fried nice and crisp! The fries were delicious and one of the twins said their seasoning was a family recipe...not too salty and a nice little hint of spice. Service was great.
