I scheduled my first ever auction for the company I work for through Fischer Auction House, and I am just blown away with the customer service provided. I called a few places to get an idea of what I was walking into, but I could tell from the first phone call with Jeff that this is who I wanted to use. I purchased a bunch of furniture from them on site and the crew was willing to help but then my 17 year old son had to go back for a coffe table and they said he was on his own and wouldn't help him load it so the table got jacked up! Pretty much the only good thing about this place is the good deals you can sometimes find in the auctions. They have a lot of people working there, basically none of which are friendly or helpful. If clerical errors are made by them or by proxibid, they practically treat you like a dishonest enemy and sometimes verge on being hostile. I once experienced a glitch in the proxibid system that caused a max bid to be entered for me even though I did not authorize it. I called Fischer and explained to them what happened. They basically told me that the proxibid system was flawless and that a glitch was impossible and there was nothing anyone could do to rectify the situation (go pound sand). Proxibid's attitude was about the same, worse in some ways, though they did call me about a month later to apologize for the error and offer no remedy. The items were small and didn't cost me much, so I just went ahead and paid for them. But if they had been bigger ticket items (which easily could have happened because the same glitch bid for me on several items totaling several hundred dollars, but I was outbid by someone else), we would have had a serious problem and I wouldn't have backed down. In short, this could have and should have been handled differently and I have zero faith that future issues that come up will be handled professionally or with customer service in mind. Another time, I had some heavy, bulky items to load and was having a hard time loading them (I'm a female of slight build and not over 105lbs). There were at least 3 men (employees, at least 1 of which was a warehouse guy) standing there and they just watched me struggle, not offering to help at all. It was near closing time and they just closed the warehouse door without getting all of my items out and the warehouse guy left. The two other guys still stood there waiting for me and watching me struggle, until one finally came and helped me load the last couple of items, not because he wanted to help though. Because he wanted to go home. So, in conclusion, extremely poor customer service from the office staff, almost hostile if you have any issue, and ridiculously poor service from the warehouse staff. Untrustworthy company and unfriendly, uncaring employees. read more

Jeff and I had a disagreement earlier this year, and since then- instead of appreciating a good customer, he has done everything possible to make each transaction as miserable as possible. I've been going to Fischer auctions for years. I grew up going with my Dad every Saturday. Now things have changed and upgraded, there's online auctions I can bid on. Which is so convenient! I get a lot of things for my house at their auctions, furniture etc. They get these awesome truckloads from Wayfair and Home Depot. Like the cutest stuff and I want it all! It's also a family business. The son now runs the business and if I ever have a problem, he's so nice and takes care of me. His name is Jeff. Buyer Beware! As their contract shows "where is, as is" 99.999 % of everything this company auctions is BROKEN. There is not once ounce of good faith in this company. You're supposed to inspect everything, but you sometimes can't. Things are in boxes high on shelves. Fischer relies on the fact people won't ask to see something and then they filch the buyer with a piece of crap. Fischer, undoubtedly gets everything free and they don't care who they screw for a dollar. Fischer resells broken over and over again. If Fischer Auction has it to auction....almost GUARANTEED it's broken. Don't waste your time. You have been warned. I'm gonna do what I can to have their auction license revoked and put them out of business. Undoubtedly selling fenced items too. They also promote the "value" of things in their listings. As an auction company you would think they can appraise items???? Fischer listed an item valued at "$500"... their value, not mine. Item was available on ebay for $45.00. Based on Fischer's value of "$500" I bid over $150. That is the "screw you customer" kind of company you're dealing with. I hope to shut them down by Christmas 2019 and have all their employees on unemployment in 2020. I see lots of people on here who have also been screwed...just more evidence to SHUT THEM DOWN!! I've been an online customer for Fischer Auction for quite some time. Recently they have been getting brand new furniture and goods from Home Depot, this has been perfect as I am constantly moving and needing new items for my home. The prices on brand new sectionals, couches, dressers, lighting is pretty crazy how cheap it all goes. I'll never buy from an actual store again. I've also consigned some items to fischer, just home goods that I had laying around needing to donate and will make a few hundred bucks every time, super easy, I drop it off and they send me a check. read more

You can get some good deals here and get rid of excess business stuff you don't need, though they aren't perfect by any means. Often have mistakes on their check pay outs and their commissions are BIG. Also, sometimes they think something isn't worth much and it gets buried, so you don't get hardly anything for it, but overall, they are a nice bunch and good people. read more

i have attended their auctins several times,i have never had a bad experiance.the father is nice the kids are nicer.it is a family business and it shows.my advice is , if u need something ,buy it, u wouldnot get a better price ,but if u want to resale it, unless u know what u are doing ,dont do it,it will end up in ur garage and u have to sell it in garage sale for less (it is my own experiance).i just wrote this to rebutt rhe other (only) comment i saw.they are good and decent people and it is unfair and unjust to make some company look bad just becaue ,they did not help ur kid pick up some furniture.how do u know if ur kid was rude or drunk or someting.i love these people and if i like something i need ,i will go to their auctio again. read more
