With covid we've had to come up with other fun summer activities that keep the kids engaged but…read morehelp us avoid large crowds. A neighbor actually suggested this place and coming in the morning during the week was really a great idea. We got here shortly after 10am and that was the perfect time to come, there was only one other family picking blueberries and plenty of bushes to give us space. When you get here you pick out a bucket (freshly sanitized) and then you walk down to the blueberry bushes where you can pick blueberries until your heart is happy and bucket is full. Then you walk back up to where you parked and give the people working your bucket with all your pickings, they weigh it and you pay. FYI I'm glad I looked before coming but it's cash only so come prepared and please when you're around others make sure to have your mask. It's easy, fun and gives the kids some sort of summer memories even with covid going on. And let me tell you these blueberries from here are delicious.

The Good- Organic and good selection of plants. Local…read moregrower/owner. UPICK with nice map of area and buckets bag and scale for do-yourself experience. The Bad- Not sure about sanitization of buckets, bags, money box, sign-in area. Sanitizer is available, but with no one there when you weigh/come in, hard to say for sure everything has been cleaned to avoid COVID. The Ugly- Some nice size garter snakes, just be aware, especially if you have kids. A bit overgrown in between rows, a little hard for smaller toddlers to walk around. The Skinny- Wonderful small farm and I would go back in a heartbeat. Nice location and would choose this Organic farm any day over others.

While most of the parking directly in front of Anthony's is reserved for their customers, there is still plenty of parking available nearby, including visitor parking for the neighboring building on weekends. The market is clean, well organized, and even has clean public restrooms, which is always appreciated. One of the highlights of my visit was Perkins Family Farms. I had the pleasure of meeting Llewyn Merrill, the sales manager, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. He freshly shucked oysters for us right on the spot for only $3 each, and there was no minimum order. The oysters were fresh, delicious, and definitely worth trying. We also picked up several baked goods, including the cheese bread and a plain croissant, both of which were very good. The cheese bread had great flavor, although it was a little chewy, likely because it had been baked earlier that morning. Overall, I had a fantastic experience at the Olympia Farmers Market. There was an impressive selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, berries, mushrooms, seafood, flowers, local crafts, and other unique products. The friendly vendors and welcoming atmosphere made this an enjoyable visit from start to finish. I highly recommend stopping by, especially to visit Perkins Family Farms for their outstanding fresh oysters and excellent customer service. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Olympia!

I wish I could give no stars. We prepaid for a car for a week. The lady who helped us at pickup…read moresaid it was a prepay. She gave us the fob for the car and said its the gray chevy. Which led to us walking all around the lot since the fob she gave us had a nearly dead battery. We got in and in theory the car was "full" 420 miles to empty. After a week of no working fob. We refilled the car and returned it. 540 miles to empty. So I got to pay for someone else's rental gas. The next day I received a email stating that they processed our return. The following day they ran my card again. I called waited on hold for over ten minutes for them to tell us that they didn't capture it. So they will return the charge from the previous week next week. So we are out $250 until they process a refund. Which should be maybe next week. Only go here if you want to be taken advantage of and then told that it's not a big deal to commit theft as long as you return what you stole a week or so later. Technically since its the original charge that's return it'll be sometime after 2 weeks when it's returned. Oh! And don't forget about the $300 hold as well. Super unprofessional, rude, and poorly maintained- go to enterprise. Sadly, we had to rent because our only car needs repairs. And in our time of struggle this is how they treat their customers by increasing their money troubles with theft!
