Amazing seasonal farm stand! The most beautiful produce and great prices. Can't miss when in Olympia. Open Spring through early fall.

Our annual Christmas tree hunt goes not farther than Schilter Family Farm…read more The Thanksgiving week end usually slams this tree farm. However, we always find a quality Noble fir if even we have to hunt a bit. This year was REALLY unusual. The Monday after T Day we went with the idea we'd have to spend time searching. The most helpful young man pointed us to a new field of Nobles. And there, no more than 10 feet in from the path was IT (visions of Clark Griswold!). There were countless more even after that Turkey Day rush. The same man came by in his tractor and asked if he could cut it down for us. He had a chain saw. I had a hand saw. No brainer!! The service and selection are first class. Topping this off is the gift shop, where you pay, has all sorts of Christmas related things, including fresh wreaths (which we bought)

Definitely deserving of a spot in the top 10 pumpkin patches in Washington!…read more I've been going to pumpkin patches almost yearly since I was 4 so I consider myself somewhat of an expert. Here's my highs and lows and good enoughs: 5 Stars to: -Plenty of Photo setup spots -Apple cider slush sundae -FRESH & HOT Roasted Corn -Many adult AND kid friendly activities -pumpkin assortment 1 Star for: -No back up generator (Power went out while at the farm and the poor animals were huddled up closer than the people were) -flavorless burgers 2.5 stars (aka good enough) for: -cold apple cider donuts -friendly but antisocial staff -gift shop (Felt more like a very small, 'small business' fair) I think the ticket price was a decent value for what was available!

Came by on a Saturday with a girlfriend during their 5th Annual Lavender Celebration, which had…read morelocal craft booths. It was a nice and small event and easy to find and get to. Great parking on a field next to the farm. All the staff have been wonderful and friendly. One even went the extra mile to explain the varieties of lavender and what we need to do and how to cut the lavender. We appreciated the explanation and information. We grabbed a white basket, which had lengthy white twist ties and a scissor. You cut between the 2nd and 3rd leaves. There are numerous bees everywhere and you can hear them buzzing about but they pretty much leave you alone. It was a rather warm day and beautiful. Perfect for picking lavender. It's $5 for a bunch that you can fit within the twist tie, which is a rather large bunch. I picked two types of lavender -- an edible variety and one that s used more for its oils and is more aromatic. There is also a lavender-colored Adirondack chair in the middle of the field for photo opportunities. We ended up purchasing kettle corn with lavender, which is oddly delicious and I had a fresh squeezed lavender lemonade. I loved it! There were numerous handcrafted items to purchase from varying booths. I purchased some emu oil, some bowl pads, and a tank top. I ended up picking up a 2.5 lb large bag of lavender buds to put into satchels and place around the house. I ended up giving half of it to my next door neighbor and gave them half of the lavender I picked. The lavender I picked was also cutely wrapped in tissue with a cute tie. When I had gotten home, I made a simple syrup with the lavender and have used it in drinks and to make scones with. Overall, this was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend.

I bought the Lavender Tea Tree large size of each. They also have Lavender; bar soap, body butter, bath salts, body oil, and dog products! I know I am forgetting some, sorry! The fields go on forever and you may stroll along with you barrowed basket and scissors merrily clipping fresh Lavenders into by the tie bunches. The big event of the year is next weekend! Spring only in Knutson Farms!…read more Tulip town in the south, our go to destination for every Spring. this is the second time we are here and we love it. what we love is the number of activities to keep the my toddler occupied - the cycle track, large bouncy area, bubbles spot, the new hay pyramid was a welcome addition, the barn and the cute animals, the corn pit, the tractor ride to the tulip farm. the tulip farm isn't as grand as the skagit valley but does pleases you heart especially with small props like benches that are kept on the field. the flowers display throughout the farm is very cute. the food scenes could be improved with more additions. the restrooms are the cleanest porta potty you can find on any farm! the lemonade stand is amazing. the OG lemonade is without much sugar and tastes perfect. buying ticket online is recommended as it gives you faster access to the farm than waiting in the line to buy the ticket. plenty of parking available!

The ground is flat and walkable, though I will say the bathrooms are less than ideal: a bit hard to find and all port o potties (they were clean though!). Everyone was very nice and helpful, and the cost to attend and enjoy so many activities is affordable. We went home with a few bulbs in a pot from the nursery, and enjoyed checking out the cute store.
