I went out with Mark and Jerry for my second time. These guys really know what's going on..The target was tuna . Marc started out trolling and hunting for the bite. About two hours in he had us drop in bate. About 30 seconds later I was on. For the next two hours I pulled in tuna . I would get one in and they would hand me a rod with another one on. I was so beat and loving it at the same time. Marc decided to slow troll and we hooked up one that went 45 lb. Great boat

W went out with Captain Marc and Brandon and had a great time! We didn't find fish right away but we finally found a great spot for halibut. Was an amazing outing for our family. Highly recommend Fish Hunter Charters.

Awesome time and a great experience! We got into a lot of yellow tail and some yellow fin as well. I would definitely recommend mark and the fish hunter to anyone looking to get some fish on the hook! You really can't beat the price either...they included everything: bait, equipment, beer, sodas, snacks. You can literally show up with nothing. We will definitely be booking the fish hunter again and from now on.... Thanks again mark!

do do's and a yellow.

Just fished with Captain Marc on a 6 pack full day charter, and it was by far the best fishing experience I have ever had.

Lake Murray is so beautiful and I enjoy coming here! I've been here a few times to walk the trail…read moreand also sit by the lake and read on a nice sunny morning. The birds can be a bit annoying, but guess that comes with the great outdoors. Definitely a nice spot to chill, take a walk and get those steps in. This area feels safe and well maintained. When I went, there weren't too many people, so it was pretty peaceful. The trail can get busy and there are bathrooms along the way (I didn't use them though) There's plenty of parking here, but just be sure you leave on time for closing. I've heard they lock up and it can be an issue with getting out. (not sure how true this is but I won't chance it) There is more parking elsewhere with trail access too, I just personally haven't found it.

After entering the main entrance, follow the road and turn right where you will see a yellow locked gate. This is the beginning of the paved walking trail. There's plenty of parking at the main entrance, and the paved trail is perfect for walkers, runners, bikers, and even kids tagging along. It's basically a choose-your-own-adventure: bird watching, fishing (permit required), or just a casual picnic. Bonus perks: lots of porta potties and benches when you need a breather. If you're holding out for a real restroom, there's one just past the second baseball field--plan accordingly. Photo is attached to show where to locate this. Heads up: the main gate is closed every 2nd Tuesday of the month, but don't panic--you can still access the trail through the neighborhood entrance off Baltimore Drive. Hope you enjoy this walking trail as much as I do.

Friends and I were planning to go on a lake to fish for our first time, but we couldn't find any…read moreplace that rented both boats and fishing gear. We ended up deciding it was best we start off in a more controlled environment (on land) and found this place on Yelp. Rates are cheap, we paid $15 for 2 hours, and that included all the gear. Some people say the owner is rude, but she was very patient with our group that had never fished before. She explained how to put the bait on the hook and how to cast the line out. Very simple and easy to do once you get the hang of it all. Out of our group of 5, 3 of us caught a fish, and I caught two! Definitely a great first time run for all of us, as we all at least got a bite or two. It's a fun sport that you'll need to be patient with when you're first starting, but all of us want to go back and try again some day! The owner was ecstatic that we caught some, and because of that, she told us we could pick out a coaster each to take home. Truly a nice lady, would definitely recommend you come by and give it a try if you're in the area!
