I am on a 5 week road trip/camping trip with my kids and we have been camping all over the PNW and CA. This has been my favorite stop of the trip and had I known it was going to be this magical, I would've booked a week instead of 3 days. The check in process was amazing. They give you the code and you go to your Yurt which is away from everyone else at the campground. You have your own little dock, backyard, outdoor cooking area, sunroom with a shower, and the Yurt itself is like a home/suite-like hotel room but in a Yurt. After a long day of driving, being able to just go to your room and walk right in, especially with young kids in the car, is such an added bonus. I've literally felt like I've had the place to myself these last few days and it's heavenly. Being away from it all means my kids aren't bothering anyone when they're out playing at 6:00 in the morning, and we've been sleeping like logs by 9:00 because it's so quiet --aside from the relaxing sound of water and birds. I'm pretty sure this is my new favorite place. It's so much better than the website depicts and I am absolutely staying here again. I imagine this place books up rather quickly. I got lucky and booked it 7 months ago with no problems. You can kayak (included) to Siltcoos lake OR the ocean. The added gate to keep kids in and away from the dock is such a thoughtful touch and kept my anxiety at bay knowing my twins wouldn't wander off.

That they hire mostly young attractive women to do that. I mean that's totally obvious that this is true. The woman I wrote it to turned my letter into security, and even though I've lost tens of thousands of dollars at 3 rivers they kicked me out from going there for 2 years. I've apologized numerous times, that does no good. The security director doesn't care. Someone tell me I am wrong about what I said? Excluding me for saying this is ludicrous. I want to comeback, but these people are not forgiving at all! I was coming in 2 to 3 times a week for years of time. I also mentioned that the hostesses can get you free nights at the casino, and it's nice, but it causes you to lose more money for staying longer. How is that not true, and why should stating the obvious get me kicked out of the casino for 2 years? Now I go to 7 feathers casino where you have no chance to win ever! This is ridiculous I should be reinstated immediately! Read less Written February 28, 2026 This review is the subjective opinion of a Tripadvisor member and not of Tripadvisor LLC. It's also smaller than both of those I think, and I prefer the smaller ones as long as they have a substantial non-smoking section. Three Rivers is operated by the Confederated Tribes of of the Coos, Lower Umpqua, and Siuslaw Indians. Like other Indian gaming, Three Rivers is a way for these peoples to care for their members. This casino opened as a casino only, but they expanded and added a hotel within a few years. Makes sense, since plenty of folks visit the coast as a tourist attraction regardless of whether there's a casino here. I have stayed here once with my mom because she had the points to spend the night. The rooms are nice and comfortable. I only play slot machines since I don't know how to play any of the other casino games, and they have pennies, five cent, quarter, and so on--the ones you'll find in just about every casino nowadays. They also have a food court with a few different types of restaurants--a kind of coffee bar, a burger place, and a seafood option; they also have a more sit-down restaurant as well. I appreciate that they have a family bathroom, since that made it a bit easier for me to take care of the baby. Haven't won my fortune here yet, but I'll probably visit again to try.

My friend booked this room for the night, as a stop on the road. For the price point, I can't…read morerecommend it, and would recommend the other budget chain hotels nearby in Florence (Travelodge, etc) as the price was about the same as other budget hotels. We stayed for 1 night. There's a lot of small gripes with the place, rather than any one notable downside. My friend stayed in a carpeted room, and the carpet was pretty filthy (keep your shoes on). My room was wood floored but had dust bunnies galore, and they happily swirled around with the fan on (no AC, so I had the fan on to get some air from the outside in). The shower was iffy on being a shower, with it hard to get the water flowing out the shower head instead of into the bath. Bath was a bit grimy, with the caulking looking really old. Small tubes of lotion, shampoo and conditioner are included. There were small bugs (ants and very small flies), but nothing bigger. For the positives, there's a TV and microwave and mini fridge. The decor was nicely lighthouse themed and the bed was okay and had clean sheets. Noise at night wasn't too bad considering proximity to the road, and the provided box fans made for good white noise. The breakfast was not that great. A lot of DIY, meaning, there are eggs, but you'll have to crack them from their shells/carton and cook them yourself. Biscuits and gravy were provided but the gravy was not warm. My room was on the 2nd floor, and I didn't see an elevator, but also didn't search too hard for it. There's an elderly man staffing Lighthouse, who was very kind and welcoming for the place and helped me find things in the kitchen/breakfast area. His efforts were welcome, and probably the highlight if I had to pick something. Why the 1 star? If you're looking for a motel/budget hotel, ideally it would be clean and cheap and no frills, and you can expect some age/griminess for a spot you wouldn't want to stay in for more than a night. However, this fell below those expectations, especially as there's other bigger chain budget options in town for about the same/cheaper price that have a more standard minimum bar.

No response. We called. Their phone number does not work. We were counting on checking in at the office, as had been described. It's CLOSED. We spent a half hour certain that we had been scammed, until we awkwardly had to knock on doors of other, non-affiliated neighbors, found one who mentioned they might be in one of the cabins... Had to knock on some more doors, when we found them they knocked right back (weird) and then acted very annoyed that we needed so much as a door code. Half hour past checkin. i do not recommend this place at all, while the lakefront is pretty the rest of it is absolutely not. Broken doors, poor decor, which I would have been fine with, but it was very overpriced for what you get especially after a very stressful and unpleasant beginning to our stay. Be careful if you stay here, you'll get an email saying "Your door code is ." You need to figure out a way to get in touch before your journey - if you do decide to go, know that their phones don't work and they don't respond to emails; for now I guess they are staying in cabin 9. Also note that their docks are decrepit and dangerous. This is no "RESORT." Bring your own toilet paper too. We were provided with less than half a roll for a couple of days but the experience with the hosts was so unpleasant that instead of asking, we preferred to just go out and buy our own.

The place had been pretty neglected for many years before the new owners bought the place. I get that it takes a lot of money to rehab a gem like this place was when owners took pride in it. The new owners are doing a lot of work on the cabins as I saw when me and my two friends arrived. I think this place will be really nice when the construction is done. The boat we rented was pretty rough looking. An aluminum hull boat which can seat 4 adults. Old outboard motor that ran like a champ all day but nothing beats having a steering wheel, push button or turn key to start/kill the motor. We couldn't pull the string on the motor to start (we're not as young as we used to be) which meant we had to keep the motor running all afternoon. We will definitely return in the hopes that with more business their boat rental situation will also improve. We had a great time motoring around what is a very nice large lake. The weather was spectacular with not too high winds and lots of sunshine. Brandon (husband/owner) is a really nice guy and appreciated that he came out after a few hours to check on us to make sure we weren't stuck somewhere. He's a born & raised Oregonian and knows a lot about the environment and loves sharing what he knows with others.
