On a scale of 1 - 10 for service, professionalism, job well done- I would give a 3 of 10. I tried FISH window cleaning company for the first time. I did not inspect each window before the team left as I have never had a major issue before. I was not so happy when I did inspect later. 30% of window sills are still dirty and the glass has visible smudges. 20% of the screens not cleaned and my two largest screens in the front of the house were mishandled in cleaning and the screens almost pulled out of the frame. My main sliding glass doors knocked off track. My house has dirt/water stains all over the exterior. The gentleman told me he cleaned my stairs- it dried and it is thick with soot and muck. I spent two hours cleaning my interior white walls from handprints in the master bedroom- will need to spend at least an hour on the main entrance from the residue left from the FISH team. The guy started talking about tipping and how my area was so cheap and nobody tipped well and then told me he washed my stairs as an extra. I gave him a $20 tip- he did not even say thank you and as stated above- stairs are dirtier than before from the grime as are the hand rails. Also- the team did not have ladders for interior or exterior and climbed all over my furniture- again, part of my 2 hour clean up. Finally- all of the windows were locked when they started and most were left unlocked when the finished- all of the lower floor accessible windows 100% unlocked. I would say this is not a good habit as it leaves one wondering why some were locked and all of the lowers left unlocked. Did I mention they did not brings ladders or interior stools and climbed all over my furniture? The bright side is early for appt and a smooth talker. read more

This is a drag, because we used them frequently for quite some time. Something has changed in the last couple years, perhaps new ownership or management, but their customer service is truly awful. You've got to call a few times just to get them to call you back, they don't listen carefully when they discuss your job, then when you correct them they blame you. The window washing is really no better than their competitors, but with rude customer service why use them. We've had two really poor experiences in a row, both with an owner (Cynthia?) and with their office manager Carla, who suggested we try another company when we simply asked them to fix what they had done poorly. They quoted a price over there phone and then when the arrived the price was over double. I totally get that, but, I'm not sure they asked the right questions. The price they ended up with was just a little more than the last guy we used so we went ahead. However the quality of the service wasn't really up to par. He left dirty water spots on the floor under each window and he really didn't clean the corners very well. Overall I was pretty disappointed. I will say that the day was crazy and we didn't point out all the errors while he was there so they didn't really get a chance to make it right. read more

Definitely does not deserve a 5 star review. Sorry to be so harsh but I was so disappointed! I decided to use them because they had good reviews on yelp. Big Mistake! I don't know who came to the reviewers that gave 5 stars but the person had to cone twice because she "forgot" to clean some of the windows. When I asked her about the inside corners of the window sills she said that would be "extra". Meanwhile when I called I told them I wanted the windows, screens, and inside sills cleaned. The Windows looked okay but the screens still look like they have never been cleaned as do the sills. All she did was wipe them down with a dirty rag! So bummed! read more

I have used Fish Window Cleaning four times, every time I've had an issue with them. I continue to call them because I met the owners the first time they cleaned my windows and they seemed to be nice people. Today was a disaster! The appointment was between 12 noon and 1 PM. At 1:05 PM, we called them. Debbie, the owner, called back at 1:20 PM and told us no one will be coming because the man supposed to come had hand surgery and was recovering. What?!! Why couldn't she send someone else or call me in the morning, before I moved furniture away from windows??!! She said she just found out! What an excuse! What a way to run a business! I will not give them another opportunity! read more

Sean and Jergen arrived on time and were very polite. I showed them the tasks to be done and they started right to work. They were cleaning interior glass and mirrors. They stayed on task, were very efficient, and did not use their cell phones. The mirrors and glass are sparkly clean. read more

I am very disappointed with how steeply downhill Fish has gone in the last couple years. I used them a few times before and always felt they did an outstanding job. In fact, I recommended them to a number of my friends. Here is what I believe has changed: First, John is no longer involved day-to-day and the franchise is being run solely by his wife Cynthia, who seems a bit overwhelmed. Second, they have grown very quickly and I think have not had the time to properly train the new employees they have brought on. As a result of those two things, overall customer service, from the people who answer the phone to the folks that actually clean your windows, is just unacceptable. Before writing this review, I talked to a couple friends who have used Fish recently and they also had bad experiences. The whole thing makes me sad, as I love to support family businesses, but I can no longer recommend Fish Window Cleaning. read more

I agree with the other one star reviewer. We were recommended Fish Window Cleaning. They were late (which is quite an inconvenience when you have to miss work to oversee this) and they didn't finish the job. Because they were late, they cut our appointment short to then go to the next appointment. We were supposed to have all the windows inside and out cleaned, and only the outside was done. We were also supposed to have pressure washing over the whole house, and it honestly looked like nothing was washed at all (except for chipped paint and some chipped wood in the back). They not only didn't make our house look better, they made it look worse. To their credit, they have tried to schedule a follow up appointment to 'finish the job', but for a busy person in the middle of a relocation, the last thing you want to do is take more time to work with a company that didn't do the job right in the first place. I would not recommend and will certainly not use them again! read more

We are done trying to work with Fish. Having had them out to our house for a window cleaning about 3 years ago (in which they did a great job) we called a couple of weeks ago to set up another cleaning. The receptionist seemed only partially interesting in picking up our phone call and scheduling a date two weeks in advance. We then called yesterday to confirm our appointment, the day before our scheduled cleaning, and found that they did not have an appointment for us. We definitely got the impression that our appointment had never made it onto their schedule. They called back a couple hours and said they were able to "fix" the situation by scheduling someone to come over at 8am today. No one came at 8. We called several times and got only the answering machine. Carla finally called at 9 and told us the person who was supposed to come out had quit that morning. Enough said. We're done with their disinterested approach to business and the demonstrated lack of a stable set of cleaners. read more
