Darryl was responsive and reasonable over the phone. We had our windows washed and some pressure washing done. The guys (Kevin and James) plus two add'l guys showed up on time and proceeded to do a great job with attention to detail. It's the consumers job to think ahead of time and ask questions like... Does that price include screens? Does that price include the garage? Mirrors? Does the window trim get cleaned? How about sliding door tracks? Skylights? Anyway, as it turned out, most of that was included but I got a small up-charge on one thing of $40 or $50. But the important thing (to me) was that it wasn't a situation where the guys doing the work were trying to get in and out as quickly as possible or find reasons to upcharge. They did their job well and went on their way. I can't believe how many people use Yelp to leave reviews but leave out the single most helpful bit of info... pricing... so here it is but, of course, our house isn't your house and apples/oranges blah blah.. Final bill came to $775. Wow, you say... that's a lot for window washing. But that was probably 2-3 hours of pressure washing and the same for windows. That was for four guy who really knew what they were doing. That was for four guys who claim they have been working for this company between 10 and 22 years and who are insured and have all the right equipment. They were four guys that knew when to lay down towels for wet feet and how to protect walls from being damaged by ladders, etc. Two story house, work on the roof (skylights) and even cleaned a lighting fixture that has a lot of glass on it. Last note - Kevin not only pressure washed areas I pointed out to him but also was throwing out ideas right and left about the white efflorescence on some of our retaining walls and yellow-green ancient algae on planters and then proceeded to make a huge difference in so many aspects of our house exterior ... and it still came in at the lower end of the price spectrum quoted me earlier. Last note (see what I did there?) - The guys didn't always have booties on and I didn't make a thing of it. But they obviously have booties (they used some on the ladder feet) so if it's important to you, you may want to spell it out. What about tips you say? This seemed like a clear time for a decent tip and did so. These guys were great and deserved that extra "thank you". read more
