They were really easy to communicate with ahead of time and were able to accommodate a couple schedule changes. The team of two arrived right on time. In reply to Ilia's demand to remove my review: Thank you for your email. When you informed me you would email me the estimate in the evening of December 7, 2020, I had eagerly waited for it. I was awake when your email finally came through, you didn't have to apologize. I've never told you the gutters were falling off, in fact, when I guided you to my backyard, I showed you a part of the gutter which was detached from the roof, that's why I called you. I didn't ask for your estimate ASAP, you told me you could give me the written estimate on the same day. At the time I was comparing several different options, there was no reason for me to pressure you for an estimate because I absolutely had no intention to make a rush decision. When I called you to inquire about gutter repair and gutter screen installation, you asked for my address. You said you could use Google Earth to estimate how much it would cost me to have gutter screens installed. As you mentioned in your email, "because we always measure the gutters via Google Earth measure tool." It's exactly what you said when you gave me the estimated of $200. You also asked me the size of my house and whether it's a single- or two-story house. I truly believed you are an experienced professional who would provide the best estimate with all the information given. I was quite puzzled when you mentioned "But the house was bigger than you were presenting it to us in our conversation by phone." How could this discrepancy possibly happen if you had all the information and Google Earth measure tool? In fact, when I used Google to search for my house, I was able to get all the information I shared with you. After I read all the positive reviews, I truly believed your company is top-notch and I believed you are an experienced professional who could provide me with the most accurate estimate, therefore your estimate of $200 should remain the same before and after you visited my house. I do have gutters on the side of my house. When I showed you around I stopped at the side of my house and pointed out there's a bird nest attached behind the gutter, I asked if you could remove the bird nest, you said yes. Since my house is located behind a park with lots of tall trees, there are always leaves and branches in my backyard and in the gutters, I asked you to install gutter screens all around my house. You told me it isn't necessary to have the screens all around, all I needed was to cover the gutter at the front. I requested that you install gutter screens in the back of my house as well, you agreed. That's when you said you must take measurements of the gutters at the front and in the back. I asked if you needed anything to make your measuring work easier, I also said I had a tape measure you could borrow. That's when you asked for it when you measured the gutters at the front and in the back, I witnessed how you added up all the measurements to calculate the total cost of gutter screen installation. When you finished your estimate, you said it's close to $2,100 for the entire job which included the stucco repair. I told you I didn't have the budget nor the urgency to fix stucco and I asked you to remove stucco repair from your estimate, you agreed. Then I asked if I could take a picture of the estimate you penciled in your notepad, you said "no" and told me you will email it to me later. I asked you if your company was licensed to do construction work because I have no intention to hire someone without a license. You said your company is licensed, that's why I asked you to include license number in your estimate. I reminded you at least 3 times to do that, you agreed. When my family member overheard our conversation while he was in the room right above where we were, he wondered why I repeated my request many times, I told him it's a very critical piece of information for me to decide whom to hire for stucco repair. I truly believe in the other reviews, thus I chose your company to call, but after my initial phone conversation with you and meeting you in person, I had quite a different experience from what the others experienced. Since I truly believe an open and honest two-way communication between two parties would produce the best outcome, I am writing to you. I also believe I have every legal right to speak, tell the truth, share my experience and write an honest Yelp review. I appreciate Yelp for providing us the opportunity to communicate with each other and for me to provide feedback to your business. Based on a review in 2018, your company redid the work for a customer who was disappointed with your work. That customer gave a five-star review afterwards. First, love the name. Second and most importantly, they did a great job. We had roofing done for our condo association - 2 buildings and the windows were very dirty from that and the general "LA sooty dust". Secured an estimate for all units and let them know that each owner may or may not choose to move forward. While that is normally a pain for businesses Washing Raccoons took it in stride and quoted the job. We had over half of our unit owners deciding to move forward and the job was well worth it. I am so very disappointed. I had used this company for gutter cleaning. They arrived two hours early but finished in a short time. I was pleased with the service. At that time, I also got a quote from the worker for power house washing and called them when I was ready to commence that project . They sent a tall, blonde young man who has NO pride in his work. My garage door was not washed and there was dirt and leaves that could be removed with my fingertip. I am not happy with the service. I am not sure which of their three offices sent this person to my house. I think that he can damage their reputation . I did call to leave a complaint message recording but I haven't heard anything back. My new awnings will be installed in two days over the dirt that I hired them to remove. Washing Raccoons did a great job cleaning my windows. One of my cats has allergies and sneezes frequently. The celestory (roof line) window was hardest hit with her boogers. The cleaning solution the technician used softened the mess and he wiped it right off! The only thing they did not completely remove was the hard water spots from past rain, but it is not noticable unless you look closely. The only hiccup was that the technician accidentally pressed the reset button on my security light when the doorbell did not ring. He told me when I opened the door, which I appreciated.
