They took my car apart and told me about 4 different things that needed to be fixed that had nothing to do with what is wrong with it. They priced it at $497, and when we told them we didn't have that much to spend because we already knew what was wrong and what it should cost us they told us it would still be 3 hours before our car was ready because they had to "put it back together" and the dude working on it was on a lunch break... so without even getting any service done they took 4 hours and charged us $119 just to tell us what the alleged "problem" was... they have no idea what they are doing and they are very rude and lazy.

Owner, Patrick, as well as rest of staff communicated very well throughout the process- in fact better than salvage company and even found a better deal on the part. The process took longer than expected solely due to salvage company delays. Service Street was on their game every time I called for updates and helped expedite the process faster than other locations might have. I will be back as I appreciated the staffs ability to communicate service without hesitation or attempt to upsell or find additional problems.

Do not take your car here, unless you want to be told to order the wrong parts multiple times, with no apologies or acknowledgement of their errors. A lot of wasted time, wasted money, stress, a lot of appointments cancels due to no tech. A lot of run around, zero communication, no call backs. The parts we bought, were installed wrong causing me to have to buy more parts to repair it. Also, they kept a part from my car, without my consent, I had to call them and ask if they still had it. Luckily they did still have it! Bottom line, my car is currently with another shop getting repairs it needed to begin with and repairs to correct Pep Boys horrible work. Thousands of dollars in repairs, and thanks to this place, the bill just keeps climbing! If you value your car. Take it someplace else. ZERO stars if I could choose that!

    I went to perform a balancing of 4 wheels + alignment on our car. (The car still vibrates at…read morehighway speed after the balancing, it's better than it was but still not good.) I waited in their waiting room, the work was done surprisingly fast, when i talked to Isaiah the manager to pay i asked for the alignment report. He said they were out of ink, and couldn't provide one. After more talking back and forth he went to the bay where the work was performed, and came back with a cellphone image of the alignment that had been performed. I took a picture of the report he showed me. The next day i decided to actually look closer on the report on my phone, zoomed in and now i noticed that the vehicle on this report is a Chevy Truck, and the date was 4/21/2026. I was there on the 4/27th. The only reasonable conclusion i can come up with is, the alignment on my vehicle was probably never done, he had this picture on his phone taken almost a week earlier, to show possible inquiring customers as 'proof' that the work had been done on their vehicles. The text was so small that i could not make that out initially when he showed me the report on his phone. I want back and showed Isaiah the receipt i have, not matching the work that was supposedly done and asked for a refund for the alignment. He refused to give a refund and was instead offering to put the car back on the lift and redo it or somehow show that the work had been done, which I in turn declined. I don't trust these people at this point, and there is no way for him to show after the fact, that any alignment work was actually performed. No honest self respecting business would come up with a Mickey Mouse reason of having no ink, and then show a fraudulent 'proof' of work cell-phone image. I can only imagine how many of these happy customers on these reviews were actually charged for work never performed. I won't be back!

They informed me that their insurance didn't allow customers to put cars on the rack. I told them that if anyone damaged the car because of its age, I would seek legal action. because of this, I was told the mechanic declined to look at the car at all. I'm very upset because I made an appointment to have someone look at it. They saw the car before I brought it in and they still refused to look at it and take responsibility for damaging my car. I will never darken the door of Midas muffler again. On top of this, the receptionist not only was very rude, but she had a dog that growled at customers when she left the room in a very menacing manner If my muffler is looking to get sued, they have all the elements in that dealership at the 10,000 block of Kingston Pike
