They will give you the honest low down on what's wrong with your car and give you the best price quote in the area. They don't hassle or pressure you, as trust me, they get enough business here. Patched my tire and didn't even charge me for it! I was a walk in with a leaking tire after a plug. They patched it up in about 30 min.

This is the only place that I trust to give me an honest evaluation of what's wrong with my vehicle. The only thing I don't like is that they're so busy (which is good for their business) because people trust the staff and difficult to get in when you need something simple done like an oil change and tire rotation. I usually try to get there before they open in the morning but it's not always easy to do that. They'll let you know if you need something else done to your car but they don't pressure you or try to upsell you. read more

My first experience here was great and the location is across the street from my home so it was also very convenient. I called in at 8:30 AM to ask how busy they were and if it would be okay to bring my car in for an oil change . I had an appointment somewhere else but I figured I would try them first because I had such a great experience the first time. Well the young lady who picked up the phone the first time said they weren't that busy and to come on in. Because I am so close I dropped off the car around 8:45. Well around 1pm I called to check on the car because I know it does not typically take 4 hours. I was then told that they had a lot of people drop off at 8 am and that they were short staffed and it would be another hour and a half and the car would be ready by 3 . I completely understand about being short staffed but I called at 8:30 AM and if there were a bunch of cars in at 8 then the young lady should not have told me they weren't busy and to come in. It's now been 6 hours and is 3 PM and will still be another 20-30 minutes. Again, I completely understand being short staffed but also be honest with your clients because waiting 6 hours is not a "we aren't that busy" kind of day. Allow your clients the choice to make the decision to wait that long or try somewhere else. Unfortunately, I did not enjoy my experience this time and I am extremely frustrated that I have had to spend the majority of my day waiting on my car when the original employee who picked up the phone could have had better communication. read more

Both times I have brought my car here, I have been very pleased with the customer service and the speed of service. The 1st time I had my car here it had died (broke down and wouldn't go). I had it towed here and when they called for me to pick it up they told me that a clamp on a hose had broke and that's why it broke down. When I asked how much it would be, he told me "Nothing, I'm not going to charge you for replacing a clamp". I was shocked, most car repair shops would not only have charged me but also would surely have found something else " wrong" to charge me more. Not only did I appreciate his honesty, that won me over as a customer. Honesty is one of the hardest things to find nowadays in many repair shops. Most are only in it for the money, but here they are doing the right thing. The next time I brought my car in was before I had to make a trip. Since I worked nearby and went in to work before they opened, I called and asked if someone could pick it up and they did. They did an oil change and balanced my tires, they also checked everything else and fluids. They did find an issue, but nothing that would prevent my trip. The mechanic also explained the issue which i appreciated. My total was only $65 for everything. I just returned from my trip and had no issues at all and my car ran great. I will defiantly be bringing it back soon to get the issue fixed and would highly recommend them for any car issues if you are looking for a company that is honest and has integrity and pride in their work and customer satisfaction. read more

Walked in and out in an hour and half. Excellent service friendly staff and they let me bring the dog I was training inside. When I checked out they let me know the condition of my brakes and were honest. They weren't just trying to make another $ off of me. The slow days were always when the place was slammed and understandable as far as I'm concerned. Fisher Tire tried, but fell way short. I purchased a set of Michelins from Tire Rack in April and had them shipped to Fisher Tire on Broadway to be installed. At the front desk, I requested that my car's alignment be checked. The problem is that this request was not entered into the system, and therefore never made it back to the mechanics. Here I am 6500 miles later with a pair of severely unevenly worn rear tires. The rear right tire gave out on I-40 in the mountains near Asheville. I returned to Fisher Tire this morning and spoke with a manager who, while very polite, refused to accept any responsibility for the issue since there was no formal documentation of the alignment check request. Now I'm out the cost of 2 Michelins... after 6500 miles! They're completely trashed. All I wanted is for Fisher Tire to take responsibility and replace the 2 tires. read more

Excellent service!! We unfortunately had a flat tire on Highway 640 after we hit a pot hole. We drove off the highway and right into Fisher Tire. How lucky were we! I thought this was going to cost a lot of money and time but oh how I was wrong. In less than an hour and with a slightly used tire we were back on the road to continue our 9 hour trip home. 5 stars to Fisher Tire! Had an 8am appointment for Oil Change and Brakes replaced. Left it there, came back at 3 and they never touched the brakes. They said they would not have enough time for it, to make another appointment the next day. No call or nothing. It's hard enough to arrange for one appointment. Recently, my van stopped running on Old Broadway at the Y to N. Broadway in both directions. Of course it was nearing 5 p.m. I called AAA, but they couldn't get a wrecker to me for 2 hours. I called the police to help with traffic and Officer Williams called a different wrecker service. I had the van towed to Fisher Tire. It was nearing their closing time, but they helped me anyway. The 7 year or older battery needed replaced. But that wasn't the only problem, so I left it overnight. They had to replace the O2 sensor and fuel pump at a very reasonable price. My van was ready the next afternoon and it runs like a new one now! Great service, friendly, and honest employees! Will never hesitate to have more work done at Fisher Tire! read more

I would not recommend Fisher Tire for anything more than simple tire procedures and maybe an oil change. My experience is as follows: I love to work on my car. I have a Honda CRV that has served me well since I switched from a pesky VW. However, when my CRV started overheating, I did not have time to diagnose it. I took it to Fisher Tire. They said "radiator's bad", I said "alright, go ahead and fix it". So they put a new radiator in. But, they did not properly burp the cooling system, and they also failed to diagnose and replace a faulty thermostat, which could have been causing the overheating in the first place. I am regretting not looking at that radiator when they pulled it out. So, hundreds later, I'm back to square one of overheating again - when it might have just been a simple thermostat. Every Honda mechanic knows that you replace the thermostat and radiator cap when you replace the radiator. I'm frustrated by my lack of attention to detail at their lack of attention to detail. Mechanics and friends warned me that Fisher Tire hires young and inexperienced mechanics, and the ones that have been there a while are arrogant and oft negligent. Consider going somewhere else. read more

Took my car in on short notice as I had been told that I needed an alignment the day before-they checked out the vehicle & let me know that it wasn't an alignment issue, but a frame issue & referred me to another shop. They have done a good job the last few times I have been here, but they are incredibly SLOW at getting everything done. I have yet to get out of this place in less than an hour. In my most recent experience, it took them well over an hour before they even got my car pulled in. If you have an afternoon to spend in a waiting room, then these people will do a good job for you. But if you have more to do in one day than sit around waiting, then you may want to get your tire work done elsewhere. read more

Not happy with service today. I got there 20 min after opening and knew I would have to wait a couple of hours. I was there almost 4 for an oil change and tire repair.
