The owner Ron passed away few months ago and they now are NOT worth going to anymore! I've heard of people complaining about the same thing! We went over there to get a tire and they put the nuts in wrong to the point that's the nut broke because it was crooked and three of them broke! We cannot drive with only two because the tire will come out. The tire kept having leaks went back twice and they will not take the tire off instead they will patch it up and send you along the way. They will not fix anything or even try to help. A certain guy there try to help but then you owner said no he was going to buy the parts but he only end up buying the nuts not what they screw on too wish those were the ones that were broken because they put them on crooked and tight! Now we're stuck going to a place where they suggested and they are saying the same thing that ever since the owner.. the true owner died that they've been having more customers from that place with the same problem! Me and my husband got a tire for them that blew and completely shreded down the middle in less than 20 minutes with our 4 month old in the back seat on the interstat. normally I wouldn't be upset be yes things happen but for the tire to get as messed up as it was it was definitely a bad tire they plugged up and gave it to us after seeing our daughter in the backseat. would never go here ever again. it was not with the $44 that we spent when our daughter could have hit hurt or worse. read more

I'm telling you right now I had a front tire blowout on Clinton Highway in Knoxville Tennessee and the only place I could find to put a used tire on my rim at a reasonable price was Reasonable Ron's! they charge me $44 cash out the door and I was in and out of there within 10 minutes!! I went in today to get two new tires. The guy jacking my car up didn't know what he was doing and looked like he had been up for days. Another man (the owner) walked up to him and told him what to do. Everything looked good tires wise. I always go he to get tires and they have always done me great. But I got in my car to leave and relized he broke my driver's side mirror! (the mirror is mad to fold in it was pushed up and broken) I got out and a man came up to me (Ron) I said the man 5hat jacked my car up broke my mirror do you think you can fix it? Reasonable Ron's is the best! First, Reasonable Ron's is a badass name. Second, in the last year I've had two flats and managed to figure it out quick enough to shuttle myself over to RR's. In less than 10 minutes, I drove in, told them the the problem, they took off the tire, patched it, rolled it on back, charged me a measly $5 and sent me on my way. Both patches have lasted months and I imagine will last a number more. My boyfriend needed a new tire, one that couldn't be patched. They told him if he could wait a day, they'd get him a newer tire and charge him the older tire price for waiting the day. I had a great experience here. Fast service and friendly staff. Like a previous reviewer stated, expect to see bearded shirtless guys covered in ink. There's also a black alley cat and a pretty sweet watch dog named Smoky who hang out on the premises. I got 4 very decent tires for my Journey for around $150. I went here to get my tire plugged and patched and they told me the hole in the tire was too big to be plugged and I would just have to get a new one. The hole was from a nail so I knew it was very small and should be easy to fix. So when I had asked for my tire back because I didn't want to get a new one, they had plugged the tire, intending to sell it to someone else. Not such a good experience. Wanted to get used tires for my daughter's car. They charged 54 bucks for both which I was happy about. They work very fast. But the next day both tires were flat. Best to get a look at them before they put them on. Took them to affordable new and used tires in West Knoxville. Told that the tires that were what they would normally throw in the garbage. I drove all the way across town to use this shop because of positive past experiences there over the years. My tire wouldn't hold air, so I knew I needed to get there soon. And while they fixed me up with a used tire quickly, less than 20 minutes after I pulled out of their shop, the used tire I bought from them was deflated. Since they were about to close for the evening within the next 10 minutes at that point, I couldn't just go back. So after getting some fix-a-flat, I was able to make it home. When I went back the next day WITH MY RECEIPT, I was met with skepticism and told I may have voided the warranty on the used tire they'd given me with a rather large crack in the side because I'd used fix-a-flat to be able to drive home! They replaced the first used tire after a few minutes, though in doing so, they damaged my tire pressure sensor. Overall, even after having been there multiple times over the years, I was not pleased to have to deal with so much trouble after already being stressed about having a flat tire. read more

First time I went I was impressed. Fast service reasonable price. When I left I had my boyfriend check out the tire. He found a bubble on the sidewalk and told me I needed to have them replace the tire. Went the next day and the owner tried to tell me I must have hit something like a curb in order to cause this. The tire was like that when they put it on. He was very rude about it but replaced it. Then one of the workers told me before I left to stay off the curbs. I will not use this place ever again. Sure they offer a warranty but want to harass you if you need to use it. *update* the tire they replaced it with is worse than the first one. It has a slow leak. A front tire blew out on her on the interstate on her way to Atlanta this past week. She had exceptionally good driving skills or would not have survived. BEWARE!!! This place was wonderful 5 YEARS AGO, but now they cut corners and do very poor work... they charge $50 for used tires with flat spots and extreme wear. They didn't even take the time to balance my tires before putting them on so I left with my car driving worse than before I took it to them... I am pretty sure the beat up worn tires I had them replace had more tread and they most likely put them on someone else's vehicle for $50 a piece... What a racket! I asked them to put a pair of decent tires on the back of my van. They put two tires on and were pushy about collecting not giving me much of a chance to inspect the tires. I drove to a nearby restaurant, at which point I had a chance to look the tires over, and one was bald on the inside!!! The old tire I replaced was better! I drove right back and told him, and he said basically, "Sorry, it is what it is. You asked for a pair, I had to give you what was on the rack. You should have said something before you left."
