I'm telling you right now I had a front tire blowout on Clinton Highway in Knoxville Tennessee and the only place I could find to put a used tire on my rim at a reasonable price was Reasonable Ron's! they charge me $44 cash out the door and I was in and out of there within 10 minutes!! I went in today to get two new tires. The guy jacking my car up didn't know what he was doing and looked like he had been up for days. Another man (the owner) walked up to him and told him what to do. Everything looked good tires wise. I always go he to get tires and they have always done me great. But I got in my car to leave and relized he broke my driver's side mirror! (the mirror is mad to fold in it was pushed up and broken) I got out and a man came up to me (Ron) I said the man 5hat jacked my car up broke my mirror do you think you can fix it? He walked over and side this was already broken and told me I was lying! I know it wasn't it was fine when I got there. I can't believe he told me I was lying. The worst customer service ever. Highly recommend them for service, but didn't need tires. Place isn't fancy but everyone there is friendly and helpful. You can go elsewhere for tire mounting, balancing, stem repairs, etc., but the speed and quality for the price is very fair. Reasonable Ron's is the best! First, Reasonable Ron's is a badass name. Second, in the last year I've had two flats and managed to figure it out quick enough to shuttle myself over to RR's. In less than 10 minutes, I drove in, told them the the problem, they took off the tire, patched it, rolled it on back, charged me a measly $5 and sent me on my way. Both patches have lasted months and I imagine will last a number more. My boyfriend needed a new tire, one that couldn't be patched. They told him if he could wait a day, they'd get him a newer tire and charge him the older tire price for waiting the day. If you have a flat and are reasonably close, Reasonable Ron's is your best bet. Awesome guys! read more

I had a great experience here. Fast service and friendly staff. Like a previous reviewer stated, expect to see bearded shirtless guys covered in ink. There's also a black alley cat and a pretty sweet watch dog named Smoky who hang out on the premises. I got 4 very decent tires for my Journey for around $150. I drove all the way across town to use this shop because of positive past experiences there over the years. My tire wouldn't hold air, so I knew I needed to get there soon. And while they fixed me up with a used tire quickly, less than 20 minutes after I pulled out of their shop, the used tire I bought from them was deflated. Since they were about to close for the evening within the next 10 minutes at that point, I couldn't just go back. So after getting some fix-a-flat, I was able to make it home. When I went back the next day WITH MY RECEIPT, I was met with skepticism and told I may have voided the warranty on the used tire they'd given me with a rather large crack in the side because I'd used fix-a-flat to be able to drive home! They replaced the first used tire after a few minutes, though in doing so, they damaged my tire pressure sensor. Overall, even after having been there multiple times over the years, I was not pleased to have to deal with so much trouble after already being stressed about having a flat tire. read more

I went here to get my tire plugged and patched and they told me the hole in the tire was too big to be plugged and I would just have to get a new one. The hole was from a nail so I knew it was very small and should be easy to fix. So when I had asked for my tire back because I didn't want to get a new one, they had plugged the tire, intending to sell it to someone else. I went to another tire shop right after this and they were able to patch the tire for me and told me that the employees were just trying to make money off me. read more

Not such a good experience. Wanted to get used tires for my daughter's car. They charged 54 bucks for both which I was happy about. They work very fast. But the next day both tires were flat. Best to get a look at them before they put them on. Took them to affordable new and used tires in West Knoxville. Told that the tires that were what they would normally throw in the garbage. I went there on the recommendation of two friends last week. I was only about a mile from the tire shop and went there with a flat tire. Within about 15 minutes they had taken off the tire, repaired it and placed it back on the car for only $5.00. Friendly guys and great work! First time I went I was impressed. Fast service reasonable price. When I left I had my boyfriend check out the tire. He found a bubble on the sidewalk and told me I needed to have them replace the tire. Went the next day and the owner tried to tell me I must have hit something like a curb in order to cause this. The tire was like that when they put it on. He was very rude about it but replaced it. Then one of the workers told me before I left to stay off the curbs. I will not use this place ever again. Sure they offer a warranty but want to harass you if you need to use it. *update* the tire they replaced it with is worse than the first one. It has a slow leak. A front tire blew out on her on the interstate on her way to Atlanta this past week. She had exceptionally good driving skills or would not have survived. Loud noise, rubber flying everywhere, car swerving. These guys knew those tires were too old and dry-rotted to be safe, but they took her money anyway. She is a senior citizen. BEWARE!!! This place was wonderful 5 YEARS AGO, but now they cut corners and do very poor work... they charge $50 for used tires with flat spots and extreme wear. They didn't even take the time to balance my tires before putting them on so I left with my car driving worse than before I took it to them... I am pretty sure the beat up worn tires I had them replace had more tread and they most likely put them on someone else's vehicle for $50 a piece... What a racket! I asked them to put a pair of decent tires on the back of my van. They put two tires on and were pushy about collecting not giving me much of a chance to inspect the tires. I drove to a nearby restaurant, at which point I had a chance to look the tires over, and one was bald on the inside!!! The old tire I replaced was better! I drove right back and told him, and he said basically, "Sorry, it is what it is. You asked for a pair, I had to give you what was on the rack. You should have said something before you left." I brought the wheel home after rons mounted the tire, put it on the car and 30 minutes later it was flat. After examining tire found out it had a nail in the tire.
