We couldn't believe the latter because we had 70 miles in the tank. He towed the car to a dealership that would fix the issue. He suggested that we allow him to leave the key in the gas cap and that we get a jerry can and fill it up and try to start her up. By the time our friend dropped us off at the dealership, Yancy was still there. Because my boyfriend and I are useless with cars, Yancy filled the tank and then injected the fuel into the engine. Sure enough, the car was out of gas. After a good laugh together we thanked him for his time, patience, and expertise.
