This is literally my favorite store in NYC. It's like Spencer's for "serious" grown-ups with "adult" money. I've seriously belly laughed at some of their offerings. If i lived closer, I'd be broke. You must treat yourself to a walk through this shop! Mostly dish wares the art scattered throughout makes Fishs Eddy feel more like a gallery than a shop. Many of the items are pretty pricey but are of great quality. The salespeople are witty, polite and helpful. 100% a NYC MUST.

I was overwhelmed while in this store because there were so many people in here. But, that's a good thing oddly. The products here are awesome. I loved all the different plates, flatware. Everything is priced well. There are other items inside like dish towels, cups, trinkets, bowls. I loved a lot of the pictures and photos/prints in frames. I never really had any communication with any of the employees. But I did see them interact with other customers and they were nice. A lot of them were hustling ringing up customers. There is grocery carts to help hold your potential purchases. Tucked in the back right corner there is a pet portrait studio. How stinking cute! They were not open when I was there but, I would defiantly put that on my radar for next time. For those who can not get to any of their locations, check them out online. Perfect!

We stumbled upon Fishs Eddy while in a walk. We walked in because the store looked cute and we were extremely pleased. Fish's Eddy has different assortments of plates/cups and other kitchen items. Our attention was drawn to a cute display of polka dot dinnerware which was cute! We night a few of the items. I will say that the items were pricey for my desire but the set was cute. This is a great place to check out! Great items and fun to search!

What to get something original for yourself and/or your friends? This isn't your regular NYC souvenir shop and it's not cheap but it is great quality, funny as hell, and totally on brand. I learned about in on social media but friends of mine recommended it as well, so I had to check it out. So much fun stuff in a smaller space. The skyline dishes are really neat, makes a great gift to bring home. Fun mugs, dishes, books, towels, and some shirts. I did 2 rounds of the store and think I still missed stuff. Not pictured, the pigeon mug I got that says "fuck off", a great glass trinket dish, a glass coaster with a painted old school subway token, and a fork off kitchen towel. This place definitely needs to be on your list! You won't regret it.

((4.75 stars)) quirky, eclectic dishware, kitchen decor, and more store. located between Union Square and the Flat Iron district, Fishs Eddy is convenient store to pick up items for your home or as a gift. the merchandising and displays (especially the front window ones) are creative and fun--this is reflected in the interior with the selection of creative merchandise and having the fun elements of tchotchke-esque items that have utility. whether it is the glassware or ceramic items--you can add some flair to your kitchen or beyond...all in one store. there's no bull in this china shop!

Walked past as we were headed to dinner- decided to pop in. Honestly, I wanted one of everything. If I lived in NYC. This would be my go-to gift stop.

Fantastic Fishs Eddy! A super, reasonably priced tableware store, truly unique in New York! You locals or tourists: If you're looking for dishes, glassware, utensils, serving pieces or certain kitchenware, it's the place to go! And also a great place to window shop! What are those special finds at Fishs Eddy? * Classic design tableware like plates, bowls, mugs, serving dishes, utensils, etc., like you'd find in 20th century diners across America; * Assorted mixed pieces of tableware, including remnants of series; * Fishs Eddy's own decorated series of tableware and glassware, many decorations done with humor or a nod to New York City; * Glass jars, bottles, and citrus hand juicers like your grandparents might have had; * Tableware from iconic closed restaurants; and * Imperfect Fiesta items of wide ranging colors. Note - There are also some more decorative items as well, such as ceramic glove molds up front and artwork in the back. If you don't leave Fishs Eddy with something to bring home or gift, you'll at least exit the doors with a big, wide smile!

The cutest home and kitchenware around! Everytime I come here I leave with something I didn't plan on buying. All my items from here get so many compliments from guests. If your looking for a gift and have no clue this place will deff offer some perspective.

This is such a fun store to walk around in. Alot of cute and funny dish ware, cups and other items for your kitchen/home. I could spend hours in here. They also have a pet portrait section which is the cutest thing I have seen at a store for dishes and glassware. I recommend stopping in if you are in the area.

What a cute little home goods shop! There's so much to look at and so many knick knacks and NYC souvenirs. I randomly stumbled upon this place as I was walking down Broadway and found all the dishes and bowls you could ever think of buying. I recommend stopping by and walk all the way to the back to find pet portraits and of course, the pigeons of NYC display! Super fun find!

Super cute kitchenware store! Also has very giftable (the gift can be for yourself) art and trinkets from local artists that all pay homage to NYC. There's a massive range of styles of dishes here: vintage, modern, quirky, cute -- you name it, there really will be something for anyone. I've snagged myself some cute ridged italian glasses for $3 each and it felt like I was stealing. Definitely coming back to do my holiday shopping.

Such a unique spot in NYC. they sell all kinds so dishes and accessories and they are all so unique and some even silly! There was a lot to take in and it was busy on a Saturday but it was so so cool to come and see everything. You can follow them on socials to see things and they even ship!

Consistently one of my favorite stores in New York. If I ever find myself in the area, I always stop here. I've gotten art, plates, towels, and gifts here. It's whimsical and practical, and always a treat.

Was in the city for NYE. Yes, it's as fun as one can imagine. It's also.....well, I was messy…read moreHahahaha! Because I got back to my cousins apartment at 630am! Was quickly reminded that, TIM! YOU. ARE. NOT. 20 yrs old NO. MO!!! So that being said, I hope it's awhile before my old ass acts like that again hahah! Actually, nah! Being a dumb kid is fun! Hahahaha! So being in the city, CLEARLY I had to get my friends souvenirs! Souvenirs for my friends who arrrrre....21 and 22 years old Hahahaha! So what's the most popular souvenir no matter what (usually)? .... SHOT GLASSES! But of course-hahaha!! So I stopped in here. Word to the wise....get your shit glasses, tshirts, etc somewhere NOT located in Times Square! Why? Because you will save a ton! Did I do that tho? Nah! Why? Well because of NYE....My old ass took like 2 days to recover. So while recovering...I went absolutely nowhere lol. So the day I'm leaving, I'm running all over Times Square looking for bagels for my mom and stores to get shit glasses and keychains, magnets, and some other things. Went here and paid 2x what I would elsewhere...outside TS. Growing up in NYS and spending tons of time down in the city as a kid and as an adult... I have ALWAYS known better than to buy in TS or around there, but I was in a rush....like so many in NY lol. I legit was tho. I was more worried to find bagels than anything else. Did I get bagels? Nope. Turns out my mom would have rather had NYC crumb cake (because I told her I bought a piece every day I was there and went to bed a happy fat pig lol) and she's like "forget the bagels! There's nothing like NY crumb cake! She's absolutely right. Mental note for next time hahaha! I got my crumb cake at a deli in Queens. Not important to this review, but yeah lol This place I got the shot glasses and other things at...super cool inside. CLASSIC Times Square store. Big, flashy, busy as hell! Great store! Minus the prices you'll pay and OH! And there's an old man who works there, I'm assuming the owner....NOT a very nice man. He deals with tourists all day long..Americans and everyone else from all over the world. I get he may be burned out. That's the case tho....step aside and let a happy person run registers and the floor. Other than that, it's a great place. You definitely feel the crazy NYC vibes in there and right outside is mayhem! Step outs and look to the left and there's the TS NYE Ball, the 2020 sign. Very cool! Thanks, yelperetties! Cheers!

I had to repeat 4 times, Im just looking and had to hold on to my tshirt when he tried to take it away. I really didn't need a personal shopper to help me, I just wanted to browse. I really wanted to get a second shirt, but couldnt shop in peace.

Located right across from Bryant Park, it's almost impossible to walk by without going in. It's usually crowded, but that's part of its charm. The store has three levels, each worth exploring. The main floor features an impressive selection of books, including bestsellers and new releases right as you walk in. The lower level is where you'll find collectibles, specialty pens, beautiful notebooks and stationery, unique gifts, even more books, and plenty of cute items that will tempt you to spend more than you planned. The book selection is excellent, although I have to admit the prices can be a bit on the higher side. The staff are always friendly, and checkout is surprisingly quick, so don't let the long lines discourage you. One thing to note: drinks aren't allowed inside, so you'll need to leave them with security before entering. If you're visiting the area or spending time around Bryant Park, I highly recommend stopping by. Whether you're a book lover or just enjoy browsing, this bookstore is absolutely worth a visit.

Hubs: How'd you find this?…read more Ghost in the shell is his fav anime. I knew this was a must have. I was able to score a Ghost in the Shell special archive edition (see pics). This bookstore is one of the coolest spots in midtown. I used to work in the offices next store and would go upstairs to the cafe for lunches or snacks when I needed a break. It was a time way back in the day. Cut back to our Mom's day out... On Mom's day out we made our way toward our lunch reservation, bustling through the glow of the Knicks recent championship win. The city was a vibe and we were living for it. We also were on a mission for finding possible Father's Day gifts and being that 2 out of the three Hubs was into anime, I suggested making a stop here. Not only don't have great stuff for the manga/anime mega fans, it's also a pretty cool book store. One like back in the olden days. Check out was quick and easy and we really did enjoy just looking at all the great stuff. Can't say anything about the food because we saved our appetite for our lunch rez. But all in all, it was great to be back and to show off one of my spots in my old stomping grounds.
