The class not only taught you how to make the delicious food, it also went into content on the technique of cooking which I found to be interesting. My only knock was the fact that our food's timing was off so the pork was cold by the time we were able to sit down. This was partially due to class timing and partially due to the way that the class was set up in "teams." My team was very focused on how to do the recipe "by the book" (aka no variance from the demo) which took us longer to get through than that of the recipe cards that were handed out. It was still delicious and an actual recipe I'll recreate in my own kitchen - so 5 stars!

The stage was filled with cooking equipment and gadgets of all kinds. Much of which was raffled off to the attendees during the demos. Emcee for the evening was Joe H., Yelper who also does the Hungry Dudes food blog. He did a super job. Michael Barna was the performing chef. He gave many valuable cooking tips and techniques as he prepared the various dishes. The prepared dishes were also raffled off to the attendees. Again this was a fun filled evening. I left uplifted with many new ideas for food creation. I will most definately be at the 2012 spring school.

The potatoes were pre-cooked and one person from each table got to smash them. We were given all the ingredients for the pie and we threw it all together and into a pan. The dough for the roll was premade for us. We each took a piece and rolled it into the shape of a roll. The Rickey was made for us. I wouldn't take another class.
